    Blizzcon In A Bottle

Objective: Get drunk and have fun!
    Rules:
-Take 1 shot when someone says "For The Horde/Alliance"
-Take 2 shots when someone says "Soon"
-Take 2 shots if during the voice contest someone says "Zug zug," "Loktar ogar," or "MRGRLRLLRLRLR"
-Finish your drink if someone dresses up as an elf during costume contest
    Damnit, there goes my idea.

Okay, here's my second idea. Aptly titled "Where's Waldo Thrall?"

Here's how you play. With 2-players, each player writes the name of ten characters on seperate slips of paper, and they are all put into a hat, and the hat is then shuffled. Each person then draws one slip of paper at the start of the festivities. Their role is to then watch and try to find their character (whether that character is a costume, on a poster, in a video, etc). Once they see their character, the player yells "Yahtzee Murky!" then puts their slip aside and draws another. This game continues until a specified time as decided by the players, or until the viewing is over. At the end, the player with the most slips wins. In the event of a tie, the remaining players play a game of Roshambo Hearthstone, and the winner of that game is declared the winner of "Where's Waldo Thrall?"

    1) I sure hope you're kidding, because I've heard Donald Trump be more humble than you.
    2) You think you're the first or only person who has thought of those ideas, the same exact ones that the enemies had? I'm pretty sure everyone, including me, thought those abilities would be cool to use by ourselves when we first encountered them.

TL;DR: Get over yourself. Ingenious? Soothsaying? Really?

I think the tiny tidbits of story and lore in those books and journal entries often were more entertaining than the main story itself. The storyline was just too cliched, and almost everything was "Oh yeah, I knew that was going to happen." Like Tyrael being the Stranger, Deckard Cain dying, everyone (Leah's mother, the kid emperor, Kulle, etc.) betraying you. "Oh hey, this person we just found out about joined us. There's no way her shady past could affect us!" "Oh hey, this little kid has magical powers. He must be a good guy." "Oh hey, this guy was a bad guy, and we resurrected him, and he ended up still being bad. Who expected that to happen?"

posted a message on Diablo 3 Boredom Poll
I got bored of Diablo 3 a while ago. I'm not necessarily saying the game is bad, though. And I find it difficult to compare to Diablo 2's fun-ness for couple reasons.
    1) The ever-present nostalgia factor. Sequels rarely ever surpass their predecessors, and nostalgia is a big factor for that. When I played Diablo 2, I was a kid. Now, I'm an adult, and I just don't get the same enjoyment out of games than I did back then. It's not Diablo 3's fault, it's mine.
    2) The choices of games then compared to now. Nowadays, you have tons of blockbusters to compare to D3. I've seen lots of Skyrim comparisons (even though they're vastly different games), GW2 comparisons (I have yet to play it but I enjoyed GW), LoL and other MOBA comparisons, and there's a ton of other games that take away from the focus Diablo 3 can get (if I'm playing Diablo 3 at the end of September, I will uninstall immediately for Borderlands 2).

Yes, the removal of having to create new characters to try new builds reduced the replayability of the game. Maybe I would still be playing if respecs were out, but I probably wouldn't enjoy having to plan things out and respec if I made a single mistake.

posted a message on Does The Auction House Ruin The Game?
My opinion: if you don't like the idea of getting items without any work, even though you do work by getting gold to trade for it, then don't use the auction house. What other people do should have no effect on your enjoyment of the game. Just because you may or may not like the auction house, that shouldn't mean it should be removed. Now, if you say "Well, it's there, so I have to use it." No. Just, no. It's called willpower. Drugs are available around every corner. Does that mean you have to buy them? No. [/rant]

Study as much as I possibly can until release, unfortunately the 15 of May is smack bang during my Exam time. This way I can hopefully go well at exams and play Diablo 3.
Yeah... May 15th is during finals week for me too. /sigh Looks like I'm failing some exams.

Diablofans looks too much like MMO-Champion now. I miss the old look. At least then it had some uniqueness to it. Oh well. Function over form, I suppose.
