It's perfectly legal to have multiple b-net accounts tied to the same machine or IP (think about people using b-net accounts in Internet cafe's or other public places). Will it give you better chances to enter the beta? I don't really know, I'm guessing it won't.
Yes it will. From 0.0000001 to 0.0000002. Also, those are pretty accurate numbers. I assume there are about 20 million Bnet accounts. Actually probably twice as more... maybe 3 times. After all so many people have multiple accounts... It's kinda silly when you look at the number and think about it. ^^
Btw, everyone keeps saying "Well WoW was hacked, so D3 should be able to be also!" WoW has never been fully hacked. The private servers you see now are custom scripted. There have been times when pieces of the programming have been stolen but not the whole thing. Most of these cases also happened in the early days of WoW back when Blizzard security was really low grade.
Indeed, which is exactly what I meant when I said "just like WoW". There were working servers on day 1 but they had close to no content at all. It took close to 3-4 years for some good servers to show up and even then they were months away from where WoW was. Same will happen to Diablo.
As with the case of WoW - within months. They just need to find out the basic stats for enemies. They won't care much about loot and will probably just set everything to ~1%.
Nah, you can totally have an expansion standalone. Just that you'll never be able to play it, since you won't have an original D2 on that account. Unless of course you buy a new one and add it to that account.
Skill set swapping? No, since that's not in the game. You choose 6 active skills and (from what I remember) can only change them in town. So no skill swapping, all skills are already on your action bars. :]
I wouldn't change it. In my opinion, the Lord of Terror is still recognizable in the Logo and more importantly, it has become a well known trademark by now, which many, many people will actually recognize and connect with the name DiabloFans.com. I guess, that's just my humble opinion though. So if you change it (which u apparently plan to do), please make sure to choose a new one, that has similarities to the old Logo.
This though is the D2 Diablo. We need to stay in touch with what the game currently is. The main logo up there was changed with a Diablo 3 logo, so why not bump the diablofans watermarks with his third reincarnation as well. Even MMO-C changed their design recently although the site is flooded with millions of people on a daily basis.
People don't like change but they get used to it. :]]
