Well since the official battle.net diablo forums won't let you sign in unless you have a classic battle.net account, which would require me to reinstall Diablo II, I've decided to sign up over here. You all seem like a livelier bunch anyway.

I tried to get the name "Wolfmane" but that was already taken, so I just replaced the "a" with a "4."

Short history of my Diablo experience. I played D1 shortly after it was released but played mostly with Trainers as I was young and apparently wasn't very good at the game in its original form. I probably made it to level 10 without trainers. Bought and played Diablo II when it came out & played it for a good 5 years or so..then put it down.. waited a couple years, then picked it back up again for a year or so.. Great game, but I think I've done just about every possible thing in it.

I'm much anticipating Diablo 3, but for now, I'll stay awhile and listen....and post.

Blizzard disappoints me once again...how they let things like this slide just shows truly how much they care about D3 (aside from the RMAH..absolutely nothing)

Quit tinkering and driving away players with every single patch. You are removing EVERY chance for us to improve in a FARMING DRIVEN GAME. You nerf everything that will keep players here and not shoot them over to TL2 or GW2.

I gotta agree with the OP. Bums me out that drops are so shitty in D3.

I am guessing that the game will feel much more complete and polished by the time we have all the expansions out. Right now it just feels like a game that doesn't really have a whole lot to offer given the insane dev time it took to get the game out.

Hate to seem cynical, but I got bored fast. And I consider myself a very devout fan of the series. Shame. :/ Guess I'm getting too old for games ;_;

I really dislike how there are so many class specific items, it seems like every other item someone picks up is class specific. I don't see why a WD can't use a wand, or a wizard use a crossbow, it doesn't make sense to me at all. It is not game breaking or anything, I just think it is pretty lame.

Well, I think that most of your gripes will probably be alleviated once you're actually playing the game. Most of the annoyances are probably less noticeable when in the middle of the action. That's just my opinion though.

It's the best thing done to the Diablo franchise. Finally no more loot stealing! Finally the ranged will get loot in games with strangers!
