the whole hype and QA bullshit of the necro is a waste of time. It just comes down to which set does the most damage and may as well remove the other 80% of the necro's skills from the game. I haven't even looked at the necro skills, I have no idea what the class does, and yet I'll just go to the set notes and see "increases X damage by 1600%". great, now I know how to play the fucking class.
fuck this game

I definitely like the new ones. The old top tier ones looked ridiculous with their round star'ness. However, I did like the old low tier ones because they highly resemble D2 gems, which is kinda why I like the new ones better because that style doesn't really fit D3.

Thanks for the video, added it into the others up top.

It does appear to have jagged lifts at the top of it instead of being purely flat like the Arcane Power picture. It being gas would explain that.

Spirit (Monk)
Fury (Barbarian)
Arcane Power (Wizard)
Mana (Witch Doctor)
Hatred & Discipline (Demon Hunter)
Compare to D1/D2 orbs:

If they made the AI react to it and come swarm you, it'd basically make the spell a suicide spell without any benefit. At least I definitely wouldn't ever use it in that case.

Agree, would be nice to see a healing style of build (Monk?) become viable. Heck, paladins had a heal bolt and a healing aura in D2.

Depends on how you look at it. Isn't Activision smart?

This is how it works, yes. There is a physical building with computers in it, all with Diablo III installed and Battle.net accounts for each copy of the game. Someone owns all this property and hires workers to come in and grind/farm loot a certain number of hours a day. The owner may personally manage the loot obtained or have a whole other department to do so. A gold farmer is literally the standard american office job. Only they play games instead of working with microsoft office. And they have horrible working conditions and hours.
Why is it this way? Well, for an analogous example, I could say what's stopping you from going out into the oil industry and simply doing it all yourself instead of working through a company? For one, you probably don't own an oil rig.

This is taking for granted the various pleasures of life a citizen of China may not have. For example, a computer, electricity, an internet connection, and a valid license of Diablo III.

A very biased statement. Thank you for giving me reason not to read the rest of your well-thought-out spew.

This is how I see it. Blizzard already declared the level ranges, with Hell being 50-60. Hopefully Inferno will be a game difficulty fully dedicated to supplying endgame content. Meaning, of course, the level range for Inferno would be strictly level 60 only.
Perhaps it will contain the highest quality loot by far, and (hopefully) not be solo-able.

Unfortunately, this is incorrect (as previously stated)*. It does have an impact, but it is not really worth discussing. And, true, we can't really be absolutely certain why Blizzard decided to remove single player. This is really just the best educated guess as to why.
*I have personal experience with the internal workings of software mechanics (as well as a degree in related fields). I'm not just saying this for no reason.
