So I am new to the class and playing a seasonal Barbarian. As I thumb through the build section of the sight I noticed that almost all of the builds require some set pieces or a specific item. My question is, what build should I use prior to having access to a specific item set? I just recently hit 70 and would like to farm torment as soon as I can.
I use a build that uses venom hydra, blizzard, and piercing orb as my primary damage dealer. I have a lot of increased attack speed (rings, amulet, weapon and gloves) so I personally feel that p orb is pretty good even while having to kite a bit. Although this build may not be ideal it works for me and I am having fun with it.
I think the most popular builds have a few things in common:
Energy Armor : FA rune
Diamond Skin: CS rune
Magic weapon: Force weapon rune
Hydra: Venom rune
A lot of the variance I have seen is whether or not you use blizzard or Arcane orb to apply a slow. I personally like blizzard a lot.
