Open battle.net wasn't intended for your hacks. It was intended for singleplayer characters to be used in multiplayer games, and because Blizzard knew they couldn't control cheating on singleplayer, they didn't monitor open battle.net.
I think they all merged into one creature. I know there have been topics on this about it having three heads, and all of that hydra stuff, but that isn't what I'm talking about now.
Some of the Diablo team formed Castaway Entertianment. They were working on a game called Djinn. http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=vK9mJVsF_Do
They dissolved after financial problems.
The first thing I thought of when I saw this creature at the end of the cinematic trailer was Spawn. This is an alternate reality design, sold as a toy, of what Spawn would look like if he accepted the "demons" within.
Anyways, that is not important. The crown around the head is very similiar, and I think it might cause problems.
Also, I doubt this is actually the new look for Diablo, it's probably just Belial, Azmodan, or a new enemy. I hope it isn't because it looks ridiculous.

As you can see from this picture, the creature has physical characteristics of each Prime Evil, and the soulstone injury seems to be healed.
Mephisto, Baal, and Diablo may not have merged, but it's hard to argue that this creature isn't Diablo, because of the soulstone injury.

Working as intended.

Complaining about the graphics now is like saying Diablo 2 isn't that dark of a game because of Lut Gholien.
