Jan 16, 2010This is the beginning of an Alice picture I am creating. It will turn out nothing like this, but I just wanted to show you guys this early version of her cause I thought it was cool. I guess I could post updates to the image later or something.Posted in: General Discussion (non-Diablo)
Jan 16, 2010What's a cd cover? And by that I mean I know what a cd cover is, but what is it that you think is a cd cover?Posted in: Off-Topic
Come on, Grizzly Bear are Jonny Greenwood's favourite band. Jonny Greenwood is the lead guitarist in Radiohead. So they can't be THAT unknown, especially not to Siay.
And check this out:
April 22, 2007 – Grizzly Bear performed "Lullabye" on Last Call with Carson Daly.
May 2007 – Characters on Gilmore Girls mentioned Grizzly Bear on a season finale episode.
October 2007 – The song "On a Neck, On a Spit" was featured on an episode of Reaper.
February 2008 – Grizzly Bear's song "Knife" was featured in the season premiere of the UK programme Skins.
March 6, 2008 – Grizzly Bear performed "Knife" on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
April 21, 2008 – Grizzly Bear performed "While You Wait for the Others" on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
July 23, 2008 - Grizzly Bear performed "Two Weeks" on Late Show with David Letterman.
May 5, 2009 - Grizzly Bear performed "Two Weeks" and "While You Wait for the Others" on Later... with Jools Holland.
June 26, 2009 - Grizzly Bear performed "Cheerleader" on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
July 16, 2009 - Grizzly Bear performed "Ready, Able" on Late Show with David Letterman.
October 12, 2009 - Grizzly Bear performed "Two Weeks" on The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien.
A short section from "On a Neck On A Spit" is played nightly on [Adult Swim] as an interlude between shows.
December 7, 2009 - The song "Two Weeks" was featured on an episode of How I Met Your Mother.
Jan 16, 2010Haha, thanks Siay, and it always makes my day. But I think that also has a lot to do with me only showing you guys pictures that work in my favour. There are heaps of photos of an ugly me.Posted in: Off-Topic
But come on, what about the Grizzly Bear pics? How amazing does their performance look? Because it WAS amazing! Do you like GB Siay?
Jan 11, 2010Posted in: Lore & StorylineQuote from "ycat" »At the end of the Veiled prophet, mephisto is asked to leave his mark to earn his trust.
what makes his mark so special?
I remember that part, but its not explained so we don't really know. I guess its just sort of like making a blood pact, but because he's a powerful demon his 'blood' is worth a lot more?
Jan 11, 2010I don't think he looks like an american. There's no baseball cap.Posted in: Off-Topic
This is me and my friends at Sunset Sounds festival in Brisbane. We saw Grizzly Bear! And were right up the front! We had to sit through Lisa Mitchell to get there, but it was worth it. We also go to see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs! But unfortuantely we didn't get a good spot for them, as they were on a different stage to Grizzly with no time in between to get a good spot.
In case you've forgotten, I'm the one on the right.
Ps. I designed that shirt I'm wearing.
Dec 22, 2009This random chat thread is boring, I'm gonna go see whats happening in the picture thread...Posted in: Off-Topic
OH WAIT, THIS IS THE PICTURE THREAD.
Guys, don't trail off so far. I wanna see pictures of people's lives.
Its weird seeing all that snow. Its such a drastic change! I like seeing it, reminds me of Where The Wild Things Are or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
Ps. Thanks Siay.
Dec 21, 2009I actually thought that the Na'vi are really hot, and both Sam Worthington and Sigourney Weaver look much better in their Avatar form. Its also clearly a reflection of Sigourney's character to show her as being really happy and youthful as an avatar but really grumpy and kinda gross as a human.Posted in: General Discussion (non-Diablo)
Dec 6, 2009Ohhh I get, I can vote for mods but I can't vote for 'thread managers'. I assumed 'manager' was a new name for 'mod'.Posted in: General Discussion (non-Diablo)
Still, the people I really wanna vote for are either a manager or don't want to be nominated.
Okay wait, I'll vote for Zhar and not Jetrall.

May 1, 2008I wonder how long this thread will go on for. It probably won't die until the next peice of news comes out. I wonder when that will be? I reckon it'll be something like a week or two weeks.Posted in: News

Wait wait, you joined recently? Lol, wow, I kept reading your name and thinking you're Acid Reign, a veteran member of the forums. Lol, now we have two guys with practically the same name.
May 1, 2008I bet he was saying that about Starcraft II as well before it was announced.Posted in: News
May 1, 2008If it wasn't for the countdown, Ryzo, you wouldn't have come. I just so happen to like your presence around here.Posted in: News
May 1, 2008Posted in: NewsQuote from "kopy" »If you are interested, I could help you finishing the Design.
Nah, its okay, we don't need anyone else thanks. This is the kind of thing where only Umaro will approach you if he needs you, never the other way around.
May 1, 2008Posted in: NewsQuote from "Taylan" »The new design has many flaws. Firstly, its too dark (its almost only black). Secondly there is no banner and i miss some of the buttons on the top.
I will use the former site design untill the new one is better.
Wait, what? Are you using Carbon Fibre 20 or Dark Fantasy skin? Because Carbon Fibre 20 is the new site layout and there is a banner and all the buttons at the top are there. Dark Fantasy is the one without a banner or buttons up top.
Carbon Fibre is dark, yes, but there are browns and greys in it too. I suppose it also depends on your monitor's settings as to how black it appears.
Edit: The only button thats missing is the Image Gallery one. Hmm, yes, we should get that fixed.
May 1, 2008Posted in: NewsQuote from "Medievaldragon" »Dont worry about the banner. It was a placeholder. Atrumentis and Jetrall weren't online in the afternoon. It was kinda hard to remake the background where the 3 used to be, and mimic the opacity colors of "Fans" without the original PSD. I couldn't undo the grainy texture after a while, and time was running out. Anyway, it is there until the guys get online to create theirs from the original PDS file.
We were wondering who did it and how they did it, lol. I was thinking it must have been hard without the original psd file, and clearly it was hard. Considering the circumstances, good job.
May 1, 2008Posted in: NewsQuote from name="Elfen Lied" »Is it just more or shouldn't there be some sort of mention of Blizzard acquiring Diablo3.com on their website http://www.blizzard.com/us/?
Seems like they should. Maybe its just early stages, maybe it will be up tomorrow.
They didn't announce their take-over of other diablo-related sites though. Nor did they announce their take over of Warcraft4.com. It would be too obvious for them to announce it.
May 1, 2008lol yeah, Jetrall was fully in the loop with what was happening, but I wasn't quite. All I knew this whole time was that the site was moving, but I didn't know Blizzard was taking it. Though, that was kind of a given lol. Jetrall's my boss, you see. I'm just a lowly worker lol.Posted in: News
Apr 30, 2008I can't connect to it using the mIRC program thing. Obviously I'm doing something wrong lol. When I try and connect to the said server, it can't connect. Where exactly do I put in the server name and where do I put in the channel name?Posted in: News
Apr 18, 2008Atrumentis posted a message on Review - Diablo: The Sin War Trilogy, The Veiled ProphetPosted in: NewsQuote from "JAZZ" »Im going to start reading the books eventually, I read moon of the spider and hated it.
The Sin War is much better than the other books.
Apr 17, 2008Atrumentis posted a message on Review - Diablo: The Sin War Trilogy, The Veiled ProphetWow, I read that book a while ago, but you make me want to read it again! lolPosted in: News
Apr 13, 2008i think that just then was a bit of mod-mockery on steel's part.Posted in: News
anyway, the realisation of Diablo III actually becoming reality is... strange. like, i never really thought it could actually happen. you know, like christmas
Apr 13, 2008Posted in: NewsQuote from "Jetrall" »This is the final season of Battlestar (only four seasons)... lol
It is however based on an old (and horrible) show from the 80s of the same name that lasted forever and was a total piece of crap. The newer adaptation is soooooo much better.
Ohh, only four seasons, I'm liking the concept of it actually having an ending lol. wait, its not open-ended, is it?
I've heard of the old series and assumed that it was just as metaphorically cool and tricky as the new series, but apparently not.
