Jan 29, 2011Okay, I've fixed my issue. But, now I have a new issue!Posted in: General Discussion (non-Diablo)
I installed Wordpress, and now I'm trying to install ComicPress, but I don't know how. The webhoster I'm with, Go Daddy, installed wordpress automatically for me, so all the files are on the server. And now I need to add more files to that server - but how?
Eff, anyone want to take over for me?
Edit: Problem solved: Use Filezilla
Jan 28, 2011I'm creating a website and am requesting some help from you people who know anything about it, because I certainly don't!Posted in: General Discussion (non-Diablo)
Firstly, how do I convert my liquid layout file into a fixed file? The damn tutorial didn't explain the difference in the beginning and now I'm stuck with it. Apparently its easy to fix but I have had zero training whatsoever so I just have no idea what anyone is talking about.
I'm using Dreamweaver CS5.

Anyway, if the Dark Exile was a trick as we know it was, and Belial and Azmodan therefore didn't really battle with the Prime Evils (as true bloody battles over Hell would only tip the balance of power in Heaven's favour), the Lesser Evils merely acted everything out.
This is where you went wrong. The Dark Exile was not a massive secret plan that everyone in Hell knew about. Only the Three knew about it; according to Azmodan and everyone else, they really were fighting an honest war and they really were winning it.
Therefore there is no contradiction.
Jan 20, 2011Aaww thanks guys!Posted in: Off-Topic
Oh noes scyberdragon, yours was finished early. Keep at it though, its a cool idea! Maybe some shading will help improve its chances. I say submit another one that's similar but different enough so that you're allowed to submit it again.
Jan 20, 2011Hey guys!Posted in: Off-Topic
If you don't know who I am, just look at the number of posts I have
I made this shirt for threadless but I NEED EVERYONE TO SCORE IT! It will ONLY get printed if it gets a high score, and then Threadless will award $2,500 for it!
Give it a 5 and say you would buy it! Lying is fine.
Jan 11, 2011I'm in Brisbane too, and also in a fairly hilly, safe place. But its boring here! I want to be trapped or something! Where is the drama!? There IS a creek with a bridge at the bottom of my little estate, so fingers crossed it will overflow. But I doubt it will happen.Posted in: Off-Topic
I am in Eatons Hill, thats near Samford, right? Or am I thinking of Samson?
Jan 10, 2011I know this thread is a bit old but oh well!Posted in: General Discussion (non-Diablo)
Apparently The Room is the worst movie ever. People love to watch it to laugh at it because its just so bad. I haven't seen it yet but I will!
Jan 7, 2011Since when is acid cloud a witch doctor skill and not a wizard skill?Posted in: DiabloWiki
And I think there's a typo in the first Wizard trait. It says stone armour, but isn't it meant to say storm armour?
Also, lol @ diamond form COUGHEMMAFROST

I was more concerned with the possibility they all used the same generic helmet types, that it just magically morphed into a mask on the Witch, like how they become very tall or pointy on other classes.
No I'm pretty sure the masks are just normal helms like all the other classes. My justification for this is that I cannot imagine the Witch Doctor wearing a chain mail coif.
BUT they said it doesn't magically morph when you equip them, they said the icon looks just like what it looks like when equipped. So the item only magically morphs when transferring from player to player, in which case you wouldn't notice the morph.
Oct 26, 2010I HATE TO BE THE NEGATIVE ONE but I have to say that I am not a fan of every missile of hers glowing so much.Posted in: Demon Hunter: The Dreadlands
Sure, its easier to see, but I personally value a more realistic, toned down look rather than ease of visibility.
Like come on, do the twirl of knives really have to glow red? I would be able to see them just as well if they are just dull metal.
To me at least, raw metal seems a lot more brutal than magical glowing metal. Magical glowing things make me think that somehow if I can glow brighter than it can, it won't hurt me.
Oct 14, 2010I don't know if someone has mentioned it already or not, but remember that we will be able to get variously coloured forms of this armour - for those who don't like the colours.Posted in: News & Announcements
I reckon the black version would look pretty good.
Jun 26, 2010I super-loved the battle scene in episode 7. I enjoy your ability to think of new spells.Posted in: Fan Fiction
Aaaahhhaahahahaaa. I quite super-enjoyed that paragraph describing me in episode 8. And you know what, that IS a super-good script idea. Super-thanks!
And yes, I understand the lore here. Except wait, fire and water are the only two elements? What about lightning? These guy's minds are going to be BLOWN when they discover lightning exists.

EDIT: I just check the map and Skovos is actually one of the Amazon Island, is it possible that the Rogues actually came from the Amazon?
Can't wait to go the Amazon Island
Actually, I think that was just a typo. Whoever wrote that likely meant to write 'Amazons'.
If it was Harrogath, it would be destroyed a hell of a lot more than that, and it would be covered in snow. Did you see that stormy dark crater in the trailer? It looks like the destroyed Mt Arreat to me, and Harrogath was on Mt Arreat. Pretty sure its long gone now lol. Poor Barbarians.I assumed this was Harrogath because in the same scene we see a crumbled statue. Looked like one of the Ancients to me in their dormant state.
Jul 18, 2008Kingdom of Shadow is the hardest of the books to place in the timeline. The best evidence I could come up with was actually from a lack of evidence.Posted in: News
Kingdom of Shadow is a prequel to Moon of the Spider. So we know it occurs before the Moon of the Spider but since there is no mention of the Worldstone (where as Moon of the Spider clearly talks about the Worldstone) it is assumed that this book takes place before it is destroyed. Zayl traveled from Ureh to Westmarch and would have likely had to pass through the Rogue Monastary (apparently the only path to Westmarch if traveling through the twin seas, which Zayl very likely would have). With Andariel and many other demons out and about during DII, and no mention of a hazardous journey to Westmarch, it is unlikely that he was traveling during the events of Diablo II, but was actually in Ureh at the time. Its more likely that Zayl left Ureh to travel to Westmarch after Diablo II, which means that the main events of The Kingdom of Shadow must have happened at the same time as Diablo II and the destruction of the Worldstone.
As I said, I place Ureh here because it doesn't have a quote to support itself.
But here is Moon's quote that places it in the timeline:
"In truth, [Zayl] could actually not be certain that the Worldstone had been destroyed, but the evidence was certainly there. Mount Arreat - where legend claimed it had been hidden - had exploded, its entired top ravaged. The destruction had been heard about even here in the far-away Westmarch. More to the point, the rumors among those with the sight gave starker credence to the horrific claim. It was said that one of the Prime Evils themselves - Baal, Lord of Destruction - had been the cause, and if so, the mortal plane was in for far worse to come. The Worldstone had existed since time immemorial, created, so the teachings of Rathma said, to keep the mortal world protected. Now, both the powers of Light and Darkness reached out to fully claim humanity, and in their battles against one another the two cosmic factions threatened to destroy what they desired. Somehow, all that tied into Zayl's own urge to come to Westmarch. Somewhere in this vast kingdom, the repercussions of Baal's heinous deed would soon be felt."(pg 19)
Jul 18, 2008Also, in the cinematic teaser just when we see the image of that mysterious city, the girl says "Once again the shadow crawls across our world". I think thats a big hint that the city is Ureh, seeing as Ureh comes alive when the mountain's shadow 'crawls across it'.Posted in: News
Jun 20, 2008Posted in: NewsQuote from "InvincibleEMP" »i just saw your edit atru, and i was able to see it by pressing the back button, seems like andu was right. here it is:
Ahh, I see. Apparently this was meant to be an email to Mockery, but accidentally got posted as news lol. Oh well, we already know what he's talking about anyway.
Jun 11, 2008Ah crap, I forgot the 'c'.Posted in: News
Haha, yeah, it so does portray this whole website well.
Nevertheless, i will attempt to recalculate.
add the numbers together:
1+8+8+7+15+20+3+8+1 = 71
Swap the digits around, and you get 17!!
The change over is gonna happen on the 17th! The same day as the ladder reset!
Jun 10, 2008Posted in: NewsQuote from "Medievaldragon" »Nope. The one I couldn't talk about was when the domain ownership would be officially transfered, which is on .... ahh gotcha.
"ahh gotcha" - I think thats a clue!
The numbers that those letters represent (in order of alphabet) are:
add the numbers together:
1+8+8+7+15+20+8+1 = 68
68 divided by 6 (because its the 6th month) = 11
The change over is gonna happen on the 11th!! Thats today! (or tomorrow for most of you)
Jun 5, 2008ah that is awesome!! Is this more or less hype than last WWI?Posted in: News
hahha, oh my god, I didn't realise how good the intro to Pinky and the Brain is! Its such a cool, evil tune! And the words flying everywhere are really tricky.
Jun 5, 2008Hmm, I dunno, maybe you're right. I think, last time they were down for maintenance was when they implicated the new Blizzard Online Store.Posted in: News
But when that happened, only the online store was down for maintenance, not every site. So that makes me think that its nothing important, it could just be security stuff that they are putting on all their sites.
Jun 5, 2008Its just maintenance. They don't need to take down the site every time they update it regularly, so I don't think it would be an awesome update or anything.Posted in: News
Jun 5, 2008Posted in: NewsQuote from name="Elfen Lied" »Cow and Chicken on Cartoon Network.
It has a cow and hell.
And the stupid naked devil guy. Ivan pantsed. or Red hinnybottom. His name changes each episode, BUtit either aluded to the fact he isn't wearing any pants (he has only worn pants twice) or his big red ass.
Ah, I hate that naked devil guy! The animations for that show are too crude, I don't like it. Its the same as Ren and Stimpy. Like you can see all the veins, and everything is too shiny.
Jun 5, 2008@ The_wind's sig: "warcraft can suck lemon"?? lol, how is that a bad thing? I love lemons, they are a great sour hit. You don't like sour things?Posted in: News
And yeah, as someone said before, Southpark has cows, and Hell, but also aliens. Though its nothing really to get hyped over.
