Well, are you sure? Because I thought that only animating some of the film would be cheaper than animating all of it. Well thats just what I assumed, but then I suppose with real people it would be harder to combine real and animated. Yeah I don't know enough about it to be able to tell which is cheaper. I do know however, that Blizzard goes for quality, so they would definitely go for real life. And thats proven with the Warcraft movie being a live action film. You seriously should read The Sin War, it'll give you a great idea on what a movie would be like. I had no idea what it would be like until I read it.

What do you mean? And I imagine it would be somewhat like Xmen, or LOTR. If its well funded, then it will be great quality. And Blizzard is definitely well funded.

Think of Ninja Turtles vs Transformers. They both started off as cartoons, but Turtles went completely animated and became a sucky kids thing, while Transformers is real life (with CGI effects, obviously), and its a real serious movie. Also, I kind of liked Stuart Little 1, but when the third movie of it came out as completely animated I knew it would suck (other than the fact that it practically went straight to dvd). And thirdly, because it is a game, if the movie was also animated then people would associate it with the game too much. We want it to be a great serious movie, not just some game's cutscene type of thing.

So thats why I think that going all animated is bad, while real life is good. Which is also what everyone has been saying anyway, I'm pretty sure. So theres no worries there, I just can't wait until it comes out, even if it takes decades - which it probably will, lol. But then the Warcraft movie will be great too.

Has anyone read The Sin War? I have. I would love to see a movie about that. Its so freaking awesome, and actors for a movie like The Sin War would definitely not make fun of it. You really should read it, its the closest thing to a movie you can get. I don't think the movie should be animated, cause people wouldn't take it seriously. I really want to see The Sin War as a film.

I'd say that they made it so that its a neutural design, which does not actually have any hints at any one world. That would be the smart thing to do. They probably figured that you would try to make something out of it anyway, no matter what they did. Which is true. But yeah, somehow I think that its starcraft. Also considering the recent patch update for starcraft.

But everything is always the perfect chance to announce something. Next year is also the perfect chance, and the year after. Though I do obviously still hope they say something this year.
