Or she manipulates gravity to pull the electrons from the point where the target is, through the path that the lightning is supposed to take (grabbing more electrons in the process), and releasing them in front of her, making them search their way back in a violent lightning. And I'm sure that the Wizard can use some sort of magic to prevent the electrons from around the created tunnel from entering it and ruining the lightning.

Or she uses some kind of magic to make points in the air into lightning conductors, thus making a lightning created by him/her to go flying towards it. That also gives the ability to create arcs and control the lightning. But this "solution" has no way of actually creating the lightning. Or she turns mana into electricity :D Any form of energy can be changed into another form of energy, thus it is even possible if mana existed in real life.

Does any of this have anything to do with the pretty arc that the first post was about :P

There's no scientific explanation, lol. She's converting mana into something that resembles lightning. Same with fire. Its fire, yes, but it has no logical explanation for being there because its not actually burning oxygen to stay alive, its burning mana.

I"m talking about the game's elements we know so far: Fire, Cold, Lightning, Disease and Arcane.
Every element are suppose to have a unic color to represent it, like Red for Fire and Green for Disease. When i say arcane are purple is because most of arcane skills are purple, the weapon with arcane modifier are purple and the arcane spell icons are mostly purple. However Desintegrate, a arcane damage spell, have red color.
I'm trying to say that it's possible to have different colors between the lihgtning spells. Like a yellow thunderstorm and the blue eletrecute we know.

Are you sure every element is supposed to have a unique colour to represent it? I thought it was just coincidence, that they were only coloured that way because thats how they are in real life. As in, fire is red/orange because fire really is red/orange. Ice is blue. Poison is generally green because its associated with plants, though I guess poison can be colourless or black or any other colour too. But yeah, seeing as lightning comes in all colours in real life, they could make it a little different to the other elements. But I don't mind, I like blue lightning.

The faculty guys are douches, they are not helpful whatsoever, and I had no idea what I had to do to save myself from repeating it. I tried emailing people and they just sent me generic responses that didn't answer my questions at all. If they were on this forum, I would have perm banned them for being a spam bot. Anyway, its over now! Just don't make my mistake.

I wish I could only take three units at once, but I don't want to get behind everyone else in my course. There's only 38 of us, and we are all pretty close, all in it together kind of thing. I don't want to graduate a year later from them.

Oh, here's a little story for you:

I failed a core unit in first year, first semester. The transition from highschool to university was rough, I had such a hard time, very depressing. But guess how I failed the unit? I handed in one of the assignments in late, therefore it scored a zero. It was worth 60%, so I failed the unit overall. I had to repeat that unit again just recently, but in order to do so, I had to overload and do 5 units (subjects/classes) at once, and all the previous work I did for that unit was completely useless because they changed the assessment criteria.

    Anyway, good luck guys.

Ah okay. Yeah, 4 subjects is considered full-time for me too, but clearly thats not the same with everyone.

I'm half way through my second year, and half way through my whole course ^^ (BFA Film & Television), so I guess I don't really count for this thread :(

It was made by Sierra, though I'm not sure what the deal was exactly between Blizzard and Sierra for making the expansion. Here's some more information: http://diablo.wikia.com/wiki/Hellfire

Damn. I was sure shift+click would work. I have memories of my warrior making that cool grunting noise over and over. Maybe I held down shift but had to keep clicking.

And I have no idea what the newest patch is for Hellfire, I've never actually played it. Remember too though that Hellfire isn't an official Blizzard product, so there may not be patches for it. I dunno, you'd have to look it up. Try the Phrozen Keep.

I'm not sure, I don't think there is much of a difference. I guess it would be amount healed, though I'm not sure which one would heal more.

Yep, shift+click and hold should work.

Yep, get straight into the expansion if you already have it.

Warrior's repair skill isn't as good as a professional blacksmith's, so yeah the consequence will always be that the total durability goes down, no matter your skill level (I don't think you can raise that skill anyway). Its only good for emergencies or for weapons you don't care about keeping for very long.

Aand you gain new spells by finding books in the dungeons (or buying them from Adria). So every character in Diablo I could potentially learn all the same spells, it just depends on what books you randomly find and if you have enough mana to support it. When you find two books of the same spell, that spell is upgraded a level. So of course there are some spells that are a must for all characters, but its really whatever you want to do.

Also remember that if you get stuck, I'm sure there is a way to start a new game with the same character, thereby refilling the dungeon with monsters again, hopefully getting a new scenario where you won't get stuck again. It also allows you to gain more experience and level up to get past the monsters you were stuck on.

Oh good good, I'm glad you understood it.

Lol!! Ah, duh, I completely forgot to add the grunge textures to this one. Agh, I hate forgetting things. No wonder it looked a lot cleaner lol. I want it a bit cleaner, but not that clean. I'll quickly fix it now.
