I'm not sure if anyone else has posted about this, but: I remember it being said in some interviews recently that they are really looking into putting Diablo 3 on the console. With this being said, they also said something along the lines that they "Weren't going to be changing much if it's done, we want to keep it like Diablo 3 as much as possible and try not to change the mechanics of the game to fit a console". So after reading this, my thought process was.. "There's only 3 major consoles out right now that are worth putting Diablo on, and that's of course the 360, PS3, and the Wii".
Now, if they are trying to NOT change the mechanics much, than obviously they aren't going to want to use something that uses a joystick, because that completely changes how Diablo works.. it's after all a point and click action RPG. So that leaves us with one Console, the Wii. I think it could totally be done on the Wii without compromising much of how Diablo works as a game. They have the remote, with a pointer.. which you could control your toon with, much like how a mouse works. So I can see the Wii being the console of choice if this "console version" actually does come to exist.
This is really all just speculation of course, but what do you guys think??

Well im kinda of a maniac when new info comes out, well i m always a fan of MAGIC and love wizards, mages... all that has to do with magic, also im a person that LOVE the fact that Teleport is or would be amazing in real life, i just love any game or movie or anything that has to do with teleportation....
Well that been said i was checking out the gameplay video me, myself and I and we noticed that the Demon Hunter uses the "Vault" skill multiple times meaning that, that skill could or doesnt have any Cooldown, if that is true i will be very upset since last time i heard they giving Wizard's Teleport a 8 sec cooldown.
Anyone any thoughts on that?
Who knows.. maybe it already does have a cool-down but it's just not that noticeable? Or maybe it's just a preliminary thing and they plan to add more of a cool down to it a later point? I don't think they'd make the travel skills that different from each other in regards to cool down time. Doesn't make much sense that they would.

Because they are a group of VERY experienced developers, that's how. Also no, I won't. Because Diablo is first and foremost a dungeon crawler that is supposed to be based around PVE. I'm perfectly happy with slaying just monsters. PVP is just a fun extra in my book.

The select people that don't buy it for stupid reasons like "PVP being ruined", won't really make much of a difference to the millions of other sales they'll still be getting.

I didn't have a problem with one death per round but I prefer respawns over it. What is better than killing someone once? Killing them twice. After that? Killing them thrice! Hat trick! That will get some people raging, looking forward to it.

You dont seem to understand the concept of understanding how the pvp mechanics are going to work when they are discribed exactly for you is pretty easy. Diablo is point to click with skills and round revives, is it really that hard for you to understand how its going to work?

I understand how the PVP mechanics are going to work perfectly fine. I also know what Diablo is and how it plays. I ALSO did PVP matches in Diablo 2 quite alot. I ALSOOO really don't understand how you've come under all these impressions that I don't get or understand any of these things.
So, let me start by saying that I never made any statement in regards to myself not wanting the "Wait for respawn" mode, it seems fun, although it seems more like an e-sport, which was exactly why it was removed in the first place since Jay stated that he wasn't making PVP into an e-sport. (Understand that?) Also I can't see how the currently implemented mode is much of a difference from the PVP in Diablo 2? You could instantly respawn in D2, the only thing was that you had to get your body to get your gear. Which in any case, this only took what.. ? About 30 seconds assuming that you had enough skill to pilot yourself around people trying to kill you. So let's compare.. a 30 second wait, compared to what could potentially be a 3 minute wait just to kill again? Yeah man, that seems appropriate and TOTALLY like PVP in D2!
I 'personally' think that the new method in PVP is going to much more fun. Yes, I do realize this method is not quite as challenging as the previous method, but still non-the-less I can picture it being just as fun, if not more. Come on now.. a continuous slaughterhouse of newbs? How does that NOT sound appealing?
Oh, and one last thing.. I never said I didn't care about it. What I was saying was more along the lines of, maybe you guys should be happy with what you have instead of what you don't, and stop crying like little school girls who just got gum in their hair. CUT IT OUT ALREADY!
