i thought this was shown before?

    pretty sure Ive seen it.

I don't remember seeing it at any point, considering how many times I've tried editing that d2xp.png image url on the Battle.Net site. If I am mistaken, however, I apologize.

After several weeks of trying, it finally worked. This image is now in the Battle.net database:

Not much else to say here, but clearly this is an excellent sign.
    Enjoy!

    EDIT: I'm bad at stuff!

I think all of the dungeons should be as bright as Venator's font.
Then everybody would love Diablo 3.

I imagine eSATA would be of an adequate speed for a separate recording hard-drive?

posted a message on Difference between xbows and regular bows
My guess is that bows will be slower but hit harder, and (in concurrence with all of the other ideas that it will be preferential) your choice will be massively influenced by your skill build. Who knows how many of the DH abilities will be based upon a percentage of your weapon damage?

If you can realistically chain a damage skill between each auto-attack, and those skills and/or your passives rely heavily upon your weapon's base damage, wouldn't you want the hard-hitter instead of the smaller guys?
On the other hand, your skill build could be based around rapid-fire, or your gear could have +elemental damage to it that wouldn't be applied to your abilities. You would want your auto-attacks to be as fast as possible to shell out that extra pain.

Off-Topic: Instead of real people, I like to imagine the avatars of Dae and Don having a debate (Dae being the rallying gladiator, and Don being the level-headed businessmanbulb). It makes for more smiles than the reality of the posts.
And what could be better than serving up smiles?

posted a message on Blizzard Is ‘Very, Very Serious’ About Diablo for Consoles
    Quote from Egyptology

How would that not delay things? If they are hiring additional people to work on the same game whether its an expansion to console or not that is still time being spent, you are saying they will release the PC game whilst the console game is still under revision? That doesn't make too much sense.
Go look up "Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood for the PC" on Google.

Edit: I'll give you a hint, it was released on PC about 6 months after the console release.

    Quote from Egyptology

I'm "very ver very" serious that Blizzard should stop wasting time with this stupid idea and keep Diablo 3 for PC. All of this extra time being spent on getting a full dev group together just so this game can sit on WalMart shelves and collect dust (as most people will be playing by PC) is a huge waste of everyone including my time. Finish the damn game already It's been long enough. :d3d:
Not surprised this is coming from someone with a LoL gif as their sig. Blizzard is putting together an entirely different team that doesn't affect the current development at all, so how does this waste your time again? You will still see the game the same time as everyone else, and the console development will not hinder that.

If they could integrate the BNet 2.0 cross-platform (like Portal 2's co-op feature, or FFXI on the Playstation but with better controls) then it would be extremely cool. I can see them designing the controls in a similar fashion to Baldur's Gate or something, with ability cycling via a trigger modifier. As long as we don't have that shoddy Starcraft 64 cursor system, it could be a very community-building* experiment.

    *Or destroying...

Lol at all the ragers saying this means no more 2011 release. They said 2 months for Beta, that means it will be over in November.

Didn't we learn our months of the year in Kindergarten?

posted a message on Inferno Revealed
    Quote from Lorgarn

    Quote from Akuma Seijin

Do you think making your text bigger is anything less than really fucking annoying?

My thought exactly, one post with increased font size enough. But a handful? Come on, enough already.

It's good news though, I'm definately excited about Inferno. I really hope they didn't just add another "stage" just to spread out the already existing difficulty. (If that makes sense).

In short, I want Normal/Nightmare/Hell to be as they would've been without Inferno. With Inferno being extremely difficult.
I have to restrain myself from saying something every single time this guy posts. I'm glad someone else did it. Increased, bold font, stacked on top of an embedded video. This is my rageface. Every single post of his is like this.

I'm hoping there is a bit of a difficulty ramp to match with the expected gear progression in Inferno, otherwise we'll just be smashing through it by the end, rather than still having to think a bit about those tricky boss fights.
