In all seriousness, there are few things you can really do to increase your chances of getting a Beta invite. Stalking fan sites, some game commentators on youtube may have a Beta giveaway, Blizzard may even have a contest (unlikely). If you don't roll that lucky 7, you can bet that all the Beta coverage you'll need will be here on Dfans :D.

As for who I feel should get an invite, simply people who will help contribute to the end result of the game. Things such as reporting every, single, glitch; purposely trying to find loop holes in systems, and reporting them if they do, and sharing their experiences with the rest of the Diablo fans out there. If you get a beta invite, you should feel a sense of pressure mixed in with your excitement and fun. Betas exist only to help the company polish the game, and maybe a little for hype. It's our responsibility as fans, and gamers to do everything we can to make this the best game it can be.

Dude that's totally what I want to do. I want to comb over the game. Every map, every moster, every skill, and see how it all works together, or doesn't. I know what I want from this game and I know that blizzard can totally pull it off and more with or without my help... but still if someones building the pyramids in my neighborhood, i want in :D!

Blizzard "needs" people with no motive other than helping them dish-out the best game possible, so that's what im gonna do... if called upon lol. as well as stalk d2 fan sites

So, i know im not the only one. I realy want to get into this beta!

I played diablo 1 in gradeschool, d2 in highschool and after 8-9 years it is still my favorite Saturday morning games.
I Love the lore, I named my pet Garbod (the weak) and if i had another i would name it Lochdonan. I totaly adore blizz games and I want them to succeed.

Any one know anything that I can do to help blizzard and participate in this beta.

I have a registered diablo 2 game on my battlenet account and a beta profile, any one know anything else I could be doing?

Youwillneverknow; This is a very intriguing theory thank you so much for informing me of it at least. I think it is defiantly plausible and you have posted a compelling argument based on reliable data. But plz refrain from condescension towards anyone who has a different vision of how the game will pan out. And to others, saying Nuh-uh is difficult not to take offense to.

Diablo summoned (necro)
Diablo crawls back from abyss
Lesser evils have master plan
Imperious has master plan
Diablo+baal+mafisto Super demon

So as far as the return of the prime evils. I dont think that the diablo we have seen is a diablo baal mafisto combo. The reason I think this is the character of each of the prime evils are very different and mafisto is the eldest of the 3. i dont think that he would be deminished to a mouth on his sholder. Now if one arm was all full of horn and muscle(Baal) and the other arm was like slime and what ever(mafisto) then i would get it. I just dont see enough of baal and mafisto in the d3 we have seen to justify that they are apart of it. I think that the Big Bad Deamon we saw in the trailer was just diablo.

I still cant wrap my head around how he came back though(assuming its just diablo) if he cralled back out of the void or what... Can anyone help me out??

I know that the Haradrim hunted down the prime evils way back when but what form were they in at that time. Were they in their Full form? i know they wanted to get caught but if they were banished from hell in their full form then when they were imprisoned in the sole stones, couldn't their decaying hulk be out there somewhere? Now that is necro fodder :D. And we dont know what form they were in when they got to sanctuary.

Every time Diablo comes back he comes back in roughly the same form so far. Both D1 and D2 he had the same spiky back bad ass tail and horns, same basic face and a giant 8 pack lol. Now we see him looking very different. I think this could be a New form for Diablo and i don't think the 3 mounts are his brothers. bc he still looks very much like Diablo.

Also hopefully you can explain it to me, in d2 act 3 both Diablo and Baal had "hosts" but Mafisto was in bad ass mode, but he still dropped the sole-stone. my question is did he drop the sole-stone bc he was carrying it like Baal, did he have it inserted into a "host" like Diablo. Or was he released from the sole-stone without a host? could that been Mafisto's true form? although yes it would be prity weak from just being summoned.

OOO cool idea! Assuming that the abyss is returnable from and they were all yanked up at once and thus fused. There could be a lot to that story. Why call him back? Who would call him back? Who actually did the summoning? We have already seen strong elements of this in the cultists of serving a higher master but WHO? Maybe one of Tyreals buds needs a reason to invade sanctuary so they/he/she brought the prime evils in order to wipe out everything, including us *cough* Imperious *cough*.

Another question, if demons come from the abyss, where can people come back from or angels (we miss you tyreal)? It would be awesome if we could bring back tal rasha or Lockdonan! God i miss Lockdonan

I both love and hate it... The idea of a SUPER demon is really cool! There are many aspects of demons that at least I as a gamer haven't seen. I don't know any kind of personality of demons, reasons, master plans, I don't really get any kind of motive off of them except "Yarg Kill Everything!!" just an endless mindless horde of aggression. The angelic side has more describable motives but appears to be factional, making it more cool and interesting. As for Trinity Diablo to me it is like a twisted bastardization of the 3 separate prime evils. Way more powerful for sure but we were just beginning to see the characters of Diablo, Mafisto, and Baal, and now they are plopped all in to one. All of this is great for game play but I think it's crappy for the story but we will see.

I hope there is an element to the story revealing how this merging came about. i would be very curious on how it was done. More expansion on the mysterious Tyreal would be greatly appreciated.

What mechanism do you think will be used bring diablo back in this game?

Ok so as we all know Diablo died in Diablo 2. But what is this game without its namesake?

Here is one idea I had on a good way of bringing him back (mafisto and baal too):

In classical theory everything was made of the 4 elements; earth, water, air, and fire. These were called the PRIME or PRIMAL elements. So if you add heat, which was kinda the base unit of fire, to wood, then you make fire, more heat more fire, simple.

So lets say that our primal element is I don't know... lets say Terror, Hate, and Destruction! and you add more and more primal essence, to someone or something, it becomes more like our favorite Prime evil Diablo *cheers*. My idea is that if a person becomes full enough with this primal essence that "Hate, Terror, or Destruction" becomes part of him, making him more... hateful or whatever. Until nothing is left but that force of hate and it would change what ever contained it increasingly into the terrifying forms me know and love.

Plz post below what you think: is this plausible, what could make it more plausible, any big problems with the idea, would it work in the game?

I have a theory. If you look at the classical consents of matter; earth, water, fire, and air, in different combinations and amounts make all the substances we have in our world. SO these 4 elements are the PRIME elements. According to classic thinking you could generate fire by adding heat to wood, and water was generated when it fell from the sky. My idea is that you could accumulate enough "hatred, lies, or destruction" to gather enough of these Prime elements together that Hatred could once again consciousness via the persona we know and love as Diablo!

PLZ PLZ PLZ make it happen lol it makes so much sense! I mean lots of hate = a little Diablo becoming part of you, get a TON of hate, and I mean like pyrotechnics in kitten farm hate, and POW Diablo is back!
