Use of the AH isn't necessary. You can go to the Trade forum and get items direct from other players if you want. Or you can just find upgrades yourself - it's just going to take longer. It would be very poor judgment to not include all factors when balancing drop percentages. (Blue Tracker/ Official Forums)
Since level 18 I've NEVER dropped a single rare useful item for my character. Now I'm level 39 (playing Nightmare) and the only thing I have to do is buying items in the AH. I thought korean games were "broken" in the drop rate, but this game reminds me of the useless time I've spent in those kind of games (like doing over 500 times an istance to get that particular drop, this is the same since nothing I got was useful to me). For example, Diablo at the end of the Normal campaign, dropped me 4 rare items, 2 relics for my companions, and 2 that were not for my class (and with so crappy stats that were impossibile to even sell them in the AH).
I'm starting to not enjoy the game anymore: why is the game relying ONLY or MOSTLY on the AH? Where is the satisfaction of getting your own drop?
I've 2 toons (act2 inferno and act3 inferno) and i've never bought anything out of the AH (yea, i had to farm for a while act1 with my monk, a problem that i didnt have with my DH).
So, yea, its just bad luck on your part, the only use i've for the AH at the moment, is to sell gear.

Ok now, that weapon brought me to 160k dps without any buffs (combination strike) with that in mind i can handle mp8 without problems using that weapon and mp9 without dying (but since i can't kill as fast i go there only to run mp9 ubbers with a friend).
On those mp9 runs i don't die, at all, even during the ubbers, i can solo ghom, not sure about leoric since my friend didnt died there yet and i'm sure i can't solo the last portal.
Ok enough,of the "shitty chat", my problem is i can't find a way to drop that 2h and go with two 1h, i tried a couple times with some EF (1150dps, 150dex, attack speed 10% and socket) + a good rare (50% crit, 3% LS , 950 dps and 1 sock), is the solution to my problem spend 300-400kk to get a worth upgrade? I tried a good combo a couple minutes ago with the same 3% ls rare and a won khim (11% AS + 2.5% LS + 25% light dmg), it wasnt all that bad but i'm sure if i swap one of those weaps for an EF without LS, i'm going to die.
Since my profile is offline i'm going to post some of my stats here:
The build on the left i've 160k dps and the build on the right around 125-130k.
ps: I know that the 2h i'm using right now is a crappy item, but that saved me from a lot of things and got me to reach higher mp lvls, but i feel like i need to change that to be able to run those same mps with higher efficiency.
Thanks in advance for any tips and comments, i tried to figure everything out just using rawr and d3up, couple weeks banging my head against the wall, i couldn't find a good solutiont (without the one i would have to spend tons of gold).

I actually enjoy the fact that we need a fiery to craft those ammys, theres one or two in my friend list that came with the same thought as you, the rest think its ok.

ps: I'm still lvl 36, i don't have that much time to play, and mp5 isnt that easy for me as well, but fun its all that matters.

On my way to hell in diablo 2 almost every single unique i found was useless, thats why im asking if we found those EPIC uniques in diablo 3.

Its not about what it does or it doesnt matter to you, he was pointing a fact, a full BiS gear was made of rw/rares/some magics with open sockets AND uniques,
By the way that lightning sorc build you mentioned, not even close to best in slot gear, that was just what EVERYONE could get with a small budget. (even if we talk about perfect maras/eschutas).
And about that "legendarys are rare, so they..", 7 out of 10 uniques you find in diablo 2, you just trashed, some of them you dont even pick up.

ps: I tried to farm act1 but damn, i found more itens dying like hell on act2 then i did on act1 farming with 5stacks. =\
