Mar 18, 2014Like i said earlier on mmo-c, the only reason i'm going to miss the AH is because i made a lot of money out of it (for a game), beside that i don't really care, i don't remembe the last time i bought something from it, it was some kind of dye. Anyway, most of my time in D3 i've been playing with my wife and friends so with or without the AH i don't see how things are going to change for me.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
ps: One thing i noticed last night, my wife ran out of mats on our low lvl toon and the AH was just perfect for that, so maybe it'l be missed for those small things..
Feb 26, 2014rezalb posted a message on 2.0 finally here. What are your impressions thus far?Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Thats odd ... i dont find the diff between T2 and T3 to be that big. I can run T2 ok, T3 a little slower .. if you're running T2 as easy as you say T3 shouldn't be a problem at all.Quote from Fitsu
Difficulty is still badly tuned just like PTR. For my current gear Torment 2 is easy, yet Torment 3 nearly impossible.

Pretty much this. After a few days on the PTR i found only 1 useful piece of gear for my main toon, on the other hand, all my low lvl toons had a blastQuote from daisychopper
I think that people will, initially, be disappointed in Loot 2.0 gear because even with a lowly MP2/3 barb, it took me a few hours to start finding upgrades. Often, I was finding pieces that were comparable, but had high mainstat rolls instead of Crit and CD. If you're already at high levels of either of those, they can be hard to give up - especially crit, since certain skills gain a benefit from critical strikes (like Overpower's cooldown reduction). So, I found myself passing on a lot of marginal upgrades because I didn't want to lose crit.
All in all, loot 2.0 is a big step in the right direction, so im happy with it.

I've an ammy that gives me 11k hp and 0.4% protection but i lose 15k dps, that sometimes i use on mp9-10.
On my skill set, im using a diff set to play mp9-10, with combination strike + EP and so on.
One of my main problems with this monk is that i don't know what to upgrade first, i don't have that much gold (im at 200kkish).
Mar 30, 2013I'm on the fence towards the AH, i really dont want the AH as its now but i do want some sort of interface where i can search/sell gear, i think its a step back going to D2 trading style.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
Again, i'm on the fence, there are times where i miss the D2 trading style and times where i think AH is the right thing but badly executed.
Mar 30, 2013As many people already said its all about the RNG. Couple hours ago i was running mp8 with a friend, hes 69paragon and im 72, we found 2 legendaries and decided to try some mp4 just to stomp things up, we found 9 legendaries, all of them sucked but among them we had skorn, manticore and a SoJ.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
We tried some lower mp a couple days ago and we had 2-3 runs without a single legendaries, so yea, its annoying.

Crensh, i heard that i CAN'T do mp10 ubbers with a 2h weap of that level, so i would've to buy a new 2h, and people say its not worth it and i should go for DW.
This incorrect. You got nice LS on it and you can do mp10 just fine with it. I did mp10 ubers with skorn no problem at all.
I run Skorn for everything. TR and Ubers, no problem.
Yeah sure there's a a few adjustments you make for the playstyle, because it's a little slower, but in the end, no reason not to play what you enjoy.
I see, i appreciate all the advice, like wheunis said, maybe is just a matter of adjustment.
To be honest i'm happy with the way its working right now, its just that a lot of people kept saying "you can't run mp10 with that weap so don't waste your time and go DW", at first i didnt care that much but with time i was thinking "yea, maybe they're right about this".
Anyway, thanks everyone ^^.

There is no reason you need to change. That 2her is amazing and you certainly CAN do mp10 with it. In fact, with the new bell changes you may be better off with a 2h weapon of this caliber than 2 1hers.
I see, maybe i was just following the wrong advice ... gonna try to upgrade some other pieces, a better rare ring just for mp9-10 among other things.

Kyoob, TR + Bell is fun and the best way for a monk to farm XP for sure, problem is, i got bored of XP farm, so anything mp5 and below i just have no fun at all, I'm currently running mp7, smooth and fun, i just want to bring my game up and the weap problem hit me, should i first change that or other parts of my build.
BTAG is zehd#1504 , still offline (at least for me).

I have to quote this part:
I dont care about the the conspiricy theory, what I dont get is that having the auction be a core part of the game and necessary to even get through hell, detracts from over long term playability of the game. Instead of playing the game I go to the auction and by my stuff, now look there is no point in playing the game. HMM DID THIS NOT OCCUR TO YOU.
Use of the AH isn't necessary. You can go to the Trade forum and get items direct from other players if you want. Or you can just find upgrades yourself - it's just going to take longer. It would be very poor judgment to not include all factors when balancing drop percentages. (Blue Tracker/ Official Forums)
Since level 18 I've NEVER dropped a single rare useful item for my character. Now I'm level 39 (playing Nightmare) and the only thing I have to do is buying items in the AH. I thought korean games were "broken" in the drop rate, but this game reminds me of the useless time I've spent in those kind of games (like doing over 500 times an istance to get that particular drop, this is the same since nothing I got was useful to me). For example, Diablo at the end of the Normal campaign, dropped me 4 rare items, 2 relics for my companions, and 2 that were not for my class (and with so crappy stats that were impossibile to even sell them in the AH).
I'm starting to not enjoy the game anymore: why is the game relying ONLY or MOSTLY on the AH? Where is the satisfaction of getting your own drop?
I've 2 toons (act2 inferno and act3 inferno) and i've never bought anything out of the AH (yea, i had to farm for a while act1 with my monk, a problem that i didnt have with my DH).
So, yea, its just bad luck on your part, the only use i've for the AH at the moment, is to sell gear.
