No need to announce beta loudly because most of the people won't be getting in it'll be a waste of time on Blizzards part.
1000 beta keys being sent out @ last years blizzcon which is 1000 loyal Blizzard followers, that's alot of testers already.
1000 testers is absolutely nothing if you're looking at an infrastructure that more than likely needs to be able to support at least 1-2 million customers. We can safely assume based on Blizzards track record that the game will hit 1 million copies sold - so even if only 10% of the people who own the game are online at any given time (a reasonable number based on mmo statistics) you end up with a constant minimum server load of a 100.000 people. So let's say betatesters are a more zealous bunch and 50% of them are online at any given time - those 1000 keys would come up to about .5% of the minimum expected server load. Even if as a stress test Blizzard wants to reach 10% of this minimum server load assumption they will need at least 20x as many players - and keep in mind that these numbers are very conservative - imo the beta won't be a small scale thing either.
1000 people is more than you'll see in your daily life, think about it.

Let me correct you on that.
"Cause that would be Frustrating."

You can swap spells in and out of your hotkeys.
Total of 5 on the UI and 2 on the Mouse (Left & Right click).

I'm a big fan of dailies as long as they don't get repetitive like for example: kill this monster today and then the next day would be kill this other monster. I despise repetition but I can only hope for so much.
I hope there's more in-store than just grinding for new loot & extra quests.

I'm loving the Druid at the moment going elemental but my right click died so i'm stuck without being able to play efficiently for a little while.

You will have a total of 20 or 21 (IDK) skills available to you after spending points but because the UI will only have 7 boxes for skills you will still have access to your other 20/21 skills but you can only use 7 of them actively at a time.

I'm worried about Diablo 3 becoming extremely repetitive towards end-game, I really hope that's not the case.

A very interesting read, explains the fundamentals of games these days and what rule set they rely on for there games which could lead to there downfall or uprising depending on how they implement it and the attention they grab.

Here's just a few questions that I thought up...
I know we have no idea at all on how it will turn out but this is all speculation and theory so feel free to talk about it.

-What did you do untill midnight?
Hung out with friends, talked about D3 and came home around 10:00PM'ish to make sure my computer was all updated & ready for the release of Diablo 3.
-Did you stop off for snacks,or anything or did you get to your computer in 15 seconds?
I've picked up a box of wheat thins or Ritz Bitz Cheese.
-What will you do while its installing?
Listen to the background story that will hopefully be told just like Starcraft 2's installation intro.
-Will you watch intro movies or skip to game play?
I'll be watching intro's of course, the more you know.
-Did you take time off work or are you pulling an all nighter?
All nighter more than likely.
-Single player or Bnet first?
Battlenets Single Player.

Thanks.
I'm glad alot of you agree honestly. I know this game is no Diablo but I'm going to put alot of pressure on Diablo 3 because i'm expecting exactly what they've been saying and a bit more which i'm pretty sure is in now but hasn't been revealed by Blizzard yet but either way I love the Diablo series and still play Diablo 2 til this day (on and off).

In / towards end-game you'll be able to spam those high end skills but you also have to remember not every class runs on mana, so a high resource cost for one class is not the same as another.
