posted a message on DiabloFans Calculator Build Contest (ONE POST ONLY)
    http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#ZaYUPR!ecU!ZbaZbb

This build is meant for PvE Demon hunter whit Bow and quiver.

For hatred generator I take Hungering Arrow / Shatter Shot rune, I take this because I don't need Bola Shot for AOE or Tangling Shot for slow and the split offers good boost to the damage.
I take Impale / Chemical Burn for single target nuke and the rune effect for relieble damage.
I take Caltrops / Hooked Spines for simply slowing enemy's.
I take Marked for Death / Valley of Death, this is intendet to be used along side whit Caltrops as they have same AOE radius
I take Cluster Arrow / Maelstrom as my burst AOE damage dealer and Maelstrom for added benefit of life steal and damage.
I take Multi Shot / Suppression Fire for low cost AOE and the rune to recharge disabling for Caltrops / Marked for Death compo.

    Passives:
Archery for Bow to give 15% more damage.
Cull the Weak for adding +15% damage to Valley of Death's +15% damage and Hooked Spines 80% Slow
Custom Engineering so that I do not need to cast Caltrops and Marked for Death so often

posted a message on After the skill change DH build
I have included link to the build in the end of this post, so that no one has to read my attempts to explain reasons behind my build. As I talk too much, or so I have being told.
Oh and english is not my native language, so hope that every one can understand what I am saying. That is those that choose to read what I have written.

This build has little utility that benefits other then the main hero it self, so it is more suitable for soloing then go-op, but the dps should be rather high.
As of right now, cant really say how the DH;s damage compares to Wizards or Witch Doctors... not that I really care as DH is going to be my main in any case. That is not including Blizzard removing DH completely from the game... or me dying....or.... well I think I made my point.
But it is something that someone might want to think about, the damage compared to other ranger heroes, not me dying.
Not that I would necessarily hold it against you for wanting my death, as I cant seem to get in to topic.

So to the point: Build that I think I will play.

    Active Skills.
    1. Entangling Shot/ Crimson rune: This build has no Volt or other kind of escapes, so slowing enemy's is rather must have. Crimson rune effect increase the slow from 2 to 9 sec, allowing to spam Entangling Shot to maintain the snare for long time. As ES generates hatred it also enables use of hatred spending abilities.

    2. Bola Shot / Alabaster Rune: As ES slows enemy's it effectively gathers enemy's in packs, the damage from Alabaster Rune is really high and the long snare from ES gives time for the Bola to explode, even for longer timer from Alabaster. I also think that I will need two hatred generators and Bola seems to work well whit ES.

    3. Impale / Crimson Rune: I take Crimson Rune for the the Impale, for dungeons and other restrictives areas as it has very high damage and damages all enemy's in a line. I also think that it works well against single targets.

    4. Cluster Arrow / Golden Rune: This is my area of effect, utility, kill them all skill as it has AoE damage, and 51% of life steel. I would take this skill rune even if it would only give the life steel. As I have no escapes that I can relay on, I need some way to keeping my self alive against multiple enemy's. Single enemy's can be avoided for slowing them down whit ES or they can easily be killed.

    5. Shadow Power / Alabaster Rune: Rune for the same reason as Golden Rune for Cluster Arrow. Other then that 50% attack speed....Don't think I need to explain that one.

    6. Mark for Death / Indigo Rune: This Rune spreads Mark for Death to 8 nearby enemy's if one is killed when Mark is active. And this effect can be tricked by killing those 8 as well and so on. Allowing to effect all enemy's whit +20% damage by casting single spell.

    Passives:
Cull the Weak: As Entangling Shot will be used most, ability to increase damage to slowed enemy's seems like a good idea. Whit this, Mark for Death and Cluster Arrow, DH gets +20% damage, +20% damage and 51% life steel, from all damage done, on top of Cluster Arrows 220% weapon damage.

Archery: This is passive that is most likely going to change, if any. I will be going for Bow build on this one and 10% extra damage seems most effective. If Hand Crossbows or Crossbows are better whit this build or on general, I have to rethink at least this one.

Sharpshooter: This gives periodically 100% crit chance. I see no reason to not take this one, at least in this build.

Ideas to improve this build??? Or comments in general.

posted a message on Which Class to Play?
I played Rogue/ Diablo, Amazon/ Diablo II and I will play Demon Hunter in Diablo III ,or I will eventually end up playing Demon Hunter as my main character..... most likely.
I like to play ranged physical class, or some other ranged kind, but I had to add "most likely" cause I am really not sure what to think about the Demon Hunter. Other that: IT IS FREAKING AWESOME. But I could say that about every class. To me there is still something that I can't really put my finger on that makes me hesitant, something that just doesn't feel right.
