Oct 8, 2011I cannot believe a topic like this has gone on this long. Isn't this discussion more fitting for a religion based forum? I personally don't have to prove anything to anyone. Simply because I don't really care. However the topic caught my eye and my only insight is neutrality. It's just not worth debating.Posted in: General Discussion (non-Diablo)

Oh hey guys! Just dropping by to say this is a cool thread, but I guess the thread purpose is unachievable, because the whole concept of gods is they exist, watch upon us and all, but can't be seen or anything, and that "evidence" stuff doesn't even prove anything, so have fun talking
Hi. Thanks for the complements, but I disagree we're just talking. The concepts we are discussing are obvious, yes, but it seem to me a lot of people don't consider where they draw the line between the world where we demand empirical evidence and the belief system where we do not. I want people to think about this and I don't think we have to "prove," anything about "god," in order to do so.
Oct 6, 2011By most definitions, God existed before any form of matter. Therefore it took up no time or space. Whatever it "created" is still part of it.Since space has essentially been proven to be capable of going faster than light and essentially time as well, there really is no distance between wall and hand, keyboard and finger.Considering the initial statement, time and space theoretically do not exist. God is everything, all at once in one moment and in no moment.Posted in: General Discussion (non-Diablo)
Our minds might perceive what is different, but I assure you, there is no "different". There is no "apple", no "chair", no "me", no "you". There is only 1 thing and nothing at all. That is God.
Anything else is just an illusion and trying to "prove" anything in terms of such an ethereal concept is the most trite thing one could possibly do considering how we perceive things.
Just imagine how convincing this would sound if I knew what I was talking about.

1. Atheists do not maintain there is no god, they maintain there has never been convincing evidence for a god. While this distinction seems flippant, it is not. The former is a claim that would make atheists no more rational than a strident theist.
That's not true, Atheism is, in a broad sense, the rejection of belief in the existence of deities. In a narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities. Most inclusively, atheism is simply the absence of belief that any deities exist. Atheism is contrasted with theism, which in its most general form is the belief that at least one deity exists.

Dammit, I was going to call it yesterday that it was these pictures as a joke.
So disappointing. Now, I never really felt most of the other ones were disappointing. I will take just about anything "new" from Diablo and be excited about it but really...?
We already have these pics, in high res. The only difference is that they added the diablo bar on it.
Oh well, hopefully we will be getting another system announcement soon™
Knowing Blizzard, the Diablo Bar™ system seen in these screenshots was probably designed over the course of many months of work by a crack-team of Blizzard graphic artists, ventriloquists and entomologists. Planning it was a 12-step process, followed by numerous consultations with leading experts, then a large number of rough sketches were rendered in Etch-a-Sketch. Then when it came time to deciding on a final design, following vicious weeks of in-fighting and backstabbing, a final design was agreed upon. Then the graphics artists worked 24-hour shifts non-stop for 3 months designing it from scratch, pixel by pixel in Microsoft Paint. Add to that 1 month for compiling the final product, 1 month for beta-testing on numerous monitors, and 1 month for shipping to Irvine from the depths of Mongolia, and that was it.
