Btw, everyone keeps saying "Well WoW was hacked, so D3 should be able to be also!" WoW has never been fully hacked. The private servers you see now are custom scripted. There have been times when pieces of the programming have been stolen but not the whole thing.

This is not the case. Multiplayer depends on the original balance in WoW, but in Diablo it won't matter.
I personally know some people who share one computer because family budget can't allow them to buy more pcs (which is not ultra rare these days) so I don't think that would even be considered, just do it and don't worry.
The thing is when you run some apps, they leave a lot of data in swap "just in case", but when you have ridiculous amount of free ram, why not place it there?
Instruction for Win7/Vista/XP: press WinKey+Break(pause) > (Advanced system settings for 7/vista) > System Properties, Advanced tab > Performance, Settings button > Performance options, Advanced tab, Virtual memory, change button > select "No paging file" and press Set button for every disk, reboot and see for yourself.
In case you don't like what you get, you can always set it back. I do not recommend this if you have less than 6 Gb of ram, since you'll be experiencing problems if you run a lot of apps simultaneously (you will eventually do that and it's gonna be frustrating).
Well, if I was making a game or a movie every twenty years, I wouldn't bother changing the name, everybody would just think "oh, look! this movie/game again." and it's kind of a cool move. I wouldn't be surprised if they called Portal 2 just Portal and people would still add 2 to its name.
I run a lot of virtual machines and for that I use packs of low-cost bundles of ram from a reliable vendor. 24 gigabytes seems to be a lot, but in reality it's just 16 simultaneous TF2 idle sessions lol.
If you have lots of ram (more than 6 Gb) and you don't run VMs like me, you may want to disable your swap file completely so the OS takes everything from ram. You'll notice much better performance and loading times decrease, a lot like running from SSD, but when you have both, mmmmm…

Because Blizzard kicks ass with their games it's inevitable. There is a whole market of retailers ready to resell offline copies.
