Nothing to see here. OP didn't pre order CE. Some other guy did. Other said guy decides to sell it on gumtree/ebay for market value. OP proceeds to QQ.

    /thread.

That's the most piss poor troll attempt ever. Op did pre order. Op has confirmation of ce. Piss poor troll boy didn't read following comments.

Should have put that in your OP coz I stopped reading after the OP. Too much QQ for me.

posted a message on End Game Earthquake Build
    Quote from aldrek

Can't really comment on the build since I'm typing this on my iPod and it won't work right, but I always have been a fan of Earthquake and hope it turns out to be a decent ability.

I can tell you how those damage. Modifiers stack though. They're multiplicative, so it looks something like this:
    1-((1-0.25)*(1-0.30)*(1-0.30))=0.6325
So 63.25% bonus damage instead of the 85% it would be if you just added them.

I'll come back and look at it later today.

I dont think damage buffs stack multiplicatively. In most games of this sort +dmg stacks addicitvely. Debuffs and things that CANNOT get to 100% or 0% (such as dodge % and monster dmg reduction) use diminishing returns via multiplicative math.

E.g. 100% dodge would be broken, so it is multiplicative using the math you provided. Imagine reducing monster damage to 0%? Of course not gonna happen.

Having said this, there is nothing broken about having over 100% damage increase, so of course these stack additively. I would be extremely surprised if they had diminishing returns. So with your 3 buffs you would get 30% + 30% + 25% = +85% dmg increase.

posted a message on What do you guys think of this computer build?
HDD too small IMO. For a bit more you can get the 2gb WD caviar black.

Also if you ever want to overclock you need the "k" CPU. The one you picked has locked multiplier.

posted a message on Class specific weapons, why?
    Quote from Ryudos

On a brighter note, I believe the + modifiers to class skills, lets say +2 bash, can appear on any piece of gear. I'm going to go hunt through the datamined modifier database to verify.

LOL What game have you been following. Skills dont have levels.

    -----------------------------

I 100% guarantee that class specific stats will appear on class specific items of the same type, not on other types. You will not find fist weapons with +hatred regen.

This is common sense, and its how D2 worked.

I had the same idea to use marked for death (contagion) and sticky trap. Except I wanted to use impale to drop the target creature and trigger the AOE nuke.

I have to completely agree. I stopped going on here on my iphone because it takes forever to 'completely load', as in i'll scroll halfway up the thread and then it'l kick me right down again, very frustrating.

This is the exact problem I have. I love to read this site and I am using my phone a lot when travelling and its downright painful.

Why on earth does this forum always open theads to the last post instead of the first? I use the links from the homepage at the top (latest topics). It really screws things up on my iphone because for big threads i need to navigate back to the first post on the first page manually.

Is there a way to turn this off?

Also you should really look into making these pages smart-phone friendly.

    Quote from sacridoc

Yeah, you can see that a lot of barbarian life regen works off max life too while other classes it's % of damage.

In fact... it might be necessary to separate the life regen builds depending on what stats you get. Because if you focus on increasing your HP your damage will suffer and vice versa.

I dont think getting decently high HP means your dmg has to suffer. I will be trying to max my HP whilst also getting good dmg. The way I see it I will be going for armor that has +life on it over +armor (if there is a choice between those 2 stats) because I will be using iron impact, war cry and the armor passive. When it comes to items for damage like weapons I will always be going for the highest weapon dmg with +dmg stats.
