I will personally play the barbarian because he utilizes the full potential of the physics engine and I want to bask in all that ragdolling glory

so if I live in Nebraska, that means I can play at 10:00 pm on the 14th?
I don't think you understand how time zones work...You're ahead of PDT by one hour if I remember correctly....do the math. 12+1 does not equal 10.

I think Nebraska is 2 hours ahead (i'm not sure where the cutoff is)... so 2 am.

ya sry thanks i was totally looking at it backwards. and ya i thought it was 2 hours anyways. well that sucks i guess im not getting on till that morning. The wife gets mad when i stay up lol

so did they have to lower the monster or the character minimum level in order to get ammys to drop in the beta? and also what were they originally?

Drops are not dependent on character level, but on monster level. A base item has a mlvl requirement, meaning that only monsters of a certain level can drop the item. The level of the monster it dropped from also decides what stats can be found on it.

The skeletons (Returned) found in the SK room have the lowest known level that amulets can drop from. However, because they are lower level than mobs found in Act 2 for example, it will also have a lot less possible stats available to roll on it. Finding amulets later in the game won't guarantee that they are better, but it will make it possible to have improved stats on it.

To answer your question directly: If amulets were unable to drop in early beta but they can now, Blizzard has lowered the level monsters need to be in order to drop them.

that makes sense, i just didn't know if anyone had some actual numbers on what the mlvl req. for ammmys used to be. you think they did it just for the beta?

Just went up minutes ago, head over to his youtube channel for a short vid explaining the contest. I think he has 7 to give away and all you have to do is be subscribed and add a comment explaining why you should receive one. good luck guys!! :)

    EDIT(2):

ok guys Force changed the contest. It is no longer on his youtube channel (im assuming because spamzilla is on the loose there). It is now taking place on twitter. So head there and all you do is follow his twitter , ForceStrategy, and it's a random lottery with the 7 keys

I can understand the elixar thing but I thought the whole point of the health globe drops was to eliminate the need for health pots, which was a huge flaw in d2. Are there any restrictions on them? like a cooldown for example, and even so having them still defeats the purpose of the health globes.

What is Blizz's reasons for keeping them?

    Great Suggestions guys!

A updated build may look like this:

Speedy Thrives on Chaos/ Epic Dread Shot

I decided to use Foot of the Mountain instead of war cry for its lower CD and still gives dees fury.

And like bidmal and Branmuffin said, I added dread shot as a fury spender for when sprint and Thrive on chaos are on CD, and combos great with No Escape.

Hello, I am just wondering how are you going to spend all your extra fury point?

Looking quick into your build and I can smell that you will be full of fury alot of time, what kind of fury spender are you willing to use?

Well having infinite fury is what my plan was so the only change I might make to utilize the full fury is probably the second passive, from Superstition to Berserker Rage, for a constant 20% damage buff when at full fury
