I dont know if its a prank, spam, or scam but it looks pretty sketch. I thought id never get one as a pm here at diablofans so let me know if any of you have got something like this.
i only hold when i move, never when in combat so i never noticed this, but it is an interesting subject especially if it can sway the outcome of a fight (prob pvp).
would fixing it to where its like sc2 require a giant amount of work though? that seems like a fundimental mechanic and if it delays release i vote no lol.
I could have sworn I'd read a patch note, a blue post, SOMETHING recently that discussed fixing gear items like these:
In both cases, one of the affixes is wasted because only certain classes properly benefit from certain stats. An item shouldn't have strength AND dexterity on it, that's just silly. I thought that this was addressed... but I keep seeing it happen. I'm I making it up? Maybe it was an internal build fix that never made it into a beta patch?
Why shouldn't it? Dexterity gives you dodge change... int gives you resistances.... str gives you armor.
Even if thats not your primary stat... you STILL get a benefit yo.
hi guys I was just wondering what kind of dps you are getting with your characters. I am able to get a little above 60 with my witch doctor when i have soul harvest at 5 stacks.

im using a two-handed staff that does about 16 dps, with random blues for gear and two 2-4 dam rings.
Only 60? Before the wipe I was sitting at 56ish without soul harvest. I go up to nearly 100 with 5 stacks of soul harvest. Runed Poison Darts(the three hit version) they were hitting for 35-60 a hit, like 60-90 on a crit. Runed fire bats were hitting for 200 and critting for 300+.
This was without having full int gear, 16.8 dps sacrificial dagger.
well my wd is lvl 10, and seeing how im only in the open beta ive had no time for farming. i havent even been able to do a full play thru of all the classes yet. havent even touched the wizard lol

i have show items on ground as spacebar because thats what i did in d2, doesnt seem as necessary now seeings how item show for 10 seconds when dropped. so I may give the force stand still a try on spacebar
EDIT: the only thing i wish they changed or allowed is the Advanced tool tip key. I have to move my whole hand to reach ctrl they way i have mine set up. Really annoying
I would assume you only do those quests when you're playing in Normal, but they could just have the quests and the followers are just at the end. They have said that the follower quests fit into the main story.
I'm trying to understand what you meant by this, and here's what I've got: It will be like in d2 where you redo the blood raven quest in NM but instead of unlocking the mercs again you unlock something else, or get nothing.
if that is what you meant, then how is it possible to still have a quest present in the 2nd and 3rd playthrough, when the followers are the main point of said quest? It would drastically change the quest to remove the follower part of it, unless you don't mind running into Kormac's twin in NM.
I wanna start by saying that I agree with blizz and support what they are doing. My question is as follows:
(I am asking this assuming that when we start in NM and Hell we will have our leveled followers with us, like we did with our mercs in d2.)
Since the followers are more tied into the story plot and are gained through quests rather than gold, does this mean that the follower quests will not appear in the second and third playthrough? and if they don't will it feel like there is a chunk missing from the story, or will the story change? jw

now is that mostly your weaps? or did you find a bunch of +dex stuff?
