is this a joke? 8 player diablo 2 fights were a complete mess. they were not fun at all, it was just a lag fest of flashing bolts that accumulated in you not even knowing who you killed.
but I will certainly make one of every class and get them to around 10 before completing normal on my first char, my curiosity would kill me otherwise.
also, surprised to not see more demon hunter votes. kind of expect the "sexy archer" archetype to be predominant. maybe small fan sites are not truly representative of what we are going to see
I'm sure threads have existed pertaining to the subject, but what requirements do we know weapons/armor will have? Just class and level? Or will stats come into play?
Hey all, after lurking every minute ounce of d3 info I could, I decided to get back into d2, you know, to bring back the memories.
Ladder seems kinda boring to me, as its just a constant grind fest. I love the tension and fear that HC brings, and the actual PVE thought that has to go into it, just seems a bit more fun.
Anyway, obviously the largest plague of HC is public games, what with PK's and what not. I was wondering if anyone here is of the same mind frame as I, not really rushing through the acts, just playing the game at a good pace, keeping it real. Let me know!
I'm playing USEAST and my current characters name is Taungra, ACC: Sundials
Spirit Link
Ranks: 5 ?
A portion of damage taken is absorbed by the Witch Doctor's summons (10% at first level).
will this work with Ritual of Blood? If so, one would imagine that 25% of your mana costs would be taken in the form of your pet's hp, 25% in your hp, and 50% from your mana, this would be FREAKING AWESOME.
If that's the case then another downside would be not having access to what other players have sold to the artisans, but ig in a game like this that is one of the least important ways obtaining loot, but is none the less somewhat limiting
not gonna be an issue, as people will certainly not be selling anything worth while. salvaging will be much more profitable.
Max points: 1
Description: 50% of mana costs go to health.
Aquirable at level 15 I believe. Can't say how excited I am for this trait. In combination with Toughness and other health based traits, one could make a very cool no pet "blood mage" style witch doctor, maybe focusing on burn skills such as the fire one we've all seen. One would obviously have to account for a way to get the health back, but if you were speccing for health regen (and gearing for vitality) one could make very good use of this as well:
Rituals
Max points: 5
Description: Increases spell damage by a percentage of your Vitality.

I have to admit, I did forget about d2's weird stuttering.
