Just so everyone knows, this post is not a troll post. I am wondering if only wizard can use wands, or are WDs allowed to use them as well? I noticed the wands I have seen in beta footage have all been wizard only, that I have noticed.
I have only seen Wizards able to equip wands (all wands say "Wizard") and WDs only able to equip Ceremonial Daggers (which say "Witch Doctor").
In the video description you can see where he states that these are all emulated effects, so some might appear more intense than in-game.
From some of the weapon datamined icons we've seen the effects scale with what type weapon it's on, and they look nice.
I've also seen a holy-enchanted item (the one with the floating runes) being used in a beta stream: it looks great AND has a special disintegration effect when killing Undead-type monsters!
The Monk armors look... interesting. Some of the upper tier ones all look pretty similar. I think I'm going to be mixing up a few different set pieces, and of course dying things.
Lots of people are throwing these numbers around. And many of the aforementioned people are decent at math, and get the correct answer. But truly, these large numbers include every logical permutation, including such combinations as: just having 1 skill equipped, having the same skill but with a rune, etc.
In actuality the count of true builds (like what the chat gem on the skill calculator generates) is significantly less, but it's still a large number. So when someone asks you about customization just say there's a large number of builds. If you must use some ridiculous number to convince them, they're probably not worth your time.
People don't seem to realize there's a "friends" portion of the Friends and Family beta. If you know someone, or pay someone, to say you're a friend, you're in. Especially when you're a giant youtube personality.

Cleverbot: Not for a long time, I hope.
User: What?! Are you sure?
Cleverbot: No, but I don't know you.
User: Ugh. Can you just give me the exact date?
Cleverbot: February 62nd, 10191.
LET IT BE WRITTEN, HENCEFORTH!

Cleverbot: Yes, you will get the haircut.
User: Not a haircut, the Diablo 3 beta!
Cleverbot: And the FBI is a Female Body Inspector.
User: Will the FBI invite me to the Diablo III beta?
Cleverbot: I think so.
User: Do you know when I will get into the beta?
Cleverbot: When what will happen?
User: When I am invited to the Diablo 3 beta.
Cleverbot: Ouch.

It also depends on the game itself. If the gameplay is terribad, it won't be worth playing.
