As mentioned, the demo is used to allow 15-20 mins of straight action. Who wants to spend their play time going from lvl 1-5.
As for the skill ranks, last we knew it was 15, not 5-7. It is assumed that every difficulty, it increases by five. This will also help promote skill choice since you can't just cap one first.
The toggle option is obviously the best choice.
My favorite diablo memory is my brother and I having to rotate ice packs under our crappy laptop to avoid it from over heating from hours on hours of straight playing.
And you guys aren't as funny without me
Thank you for mentioning the skill rank fact. Normally the information in these cast are pretty spot on and much better IMO then the diablo3INC cast but I definitely think they beat you guys this time in accuracy. Still great job as always gentleman. On a side note ..what's a guy got to do to get an update on skills and traits around here? -
Jul 2, 2011flawkstawker45 posted a message on The Future of Item SellingI'm gonna have to say I lean to the no stores side of things, but with that said I also have to admit that there is going to eventually be some site selling gold and maybe items. As long as Blizzard does its job which they sounded pretty adamant about making a strong economy, then we will be fine. Any thing that is bought will be straight from the economy and just as easily (or difficultly) earned by putting time into the game. Sure there may be a character or two out there that was buying some pretty good items but it's still something that had to drop in game and put up on the market. It's never gonna be the only way to get the best items so haha to those who spent money. Blizzard making a store and essentially duping items for distribution is the dumbest thing I ever heard. That would go against the economy they are fighting for and that needed to be said.Posted in: News

Yea that's what I thought as well. I've just convinced my self that they meant 1 mil more than the people who already liked their facebook page. Currently the Blizzard face book page has 1,070,436 likes on it.This is the link I went to and liked.Quote from Daemaro
1 million seems pretty impressive to me for a unreleased game. Didn't the official Blizzard facebook just hit 1mil a few weeks ago?

Yea no need to fear. From my undestanding each class has movement capabilties(i.e. barbarian has leap, demon hunter has like some sort of shadow movement(best seen 40 seconds into Demon Hunter Outdoor GP ) not sure what the Monks has and the Witch Doctor has his spirit walk which doesnt move fast but you are incorporeal(or something similar to that) to everyone. I believe cool down times have also been set in motion for these skill to help in the balancing of them.Quote from mazingerz
Wow, looks awesome. Little worried about Wizard's ability to just teleport and snag pots, seemed almost game breaking. I'm sure Blizzard will balance everything though, I mean they're great at that in WoW...
D3 arena looks like a cooler Bloodline Champions to me (albeit purists, without all the skill shots)

Apr 30, 2011flawkstawker45 posted a message on This Week's Poll: FollowersI chose similar to Diablo 2LOD, but only cause I over thought it probably. In my defense however I will say that Diablo 2LOD made them perfect in the sense that they had their uses on the field but they were still a lot more/much squishier than you are. I remember putting alot of time into decking out my act III merc with good equip. He used the ice spell that slows things down. Well i remember fighting my friend in pvp and the mercs dropping like 15 seconds in and the rest of the fight was me.. run cast spell and stay away from my barbarian playing friends clutches. To sum that imagery back into words "Yea those guys helped and yes I'm gonna give them shiny nice things but they're still gonna die alot and thats the way the cookie crumbles."Posted in: News

Yea I would love to have a merc with me again for some sort of epic solo night, but if they don't have them in at first it wont break the game for me. I sincerely hope that they atleast get some attention on any expansions.Posted in: News
