and lastly a question/recommendation to add. there are some completion npcs that take some time to actually give you the completion because they have to finish what they are saying first. i usually just press esc and start teleporting to another bounty, even if they are not done talking when i zone out the bounty does complete so you might want to add that if people didnt know about it. the question part of this is, if i press close all windows does it complete it instantly?

Yep, spamming "close all open windows" will jump their final words and instant complete the bounty. We see this in any bounty where the npc get's an exclamation over their head for turn in. That is a great point to add.

Bounties .... If there is anything more boring then paragon grinding then its the bounties.... After I done even one run my body feels like someone is ripping my soul apart. I feel like I worked 8 hours shift of heavy physical labor. I need to make a break so that I dont lose my mind. Those bounties should be used instead of water boarding as a torture technique. I cant even begin to contemplate how insane I would be after doing 10k of those stupid, boring runs. Probably would end up in some mental institution. Especially in groups when there is always one guy AFK when you need them to decline boss fight so you end up losing 5 minutes there ... Ahhh just commenting about this ruined my day.

RUINED! Sorry 'bout the day. Bounties are not for everyone. Side effects may include: swelling of the fingers, swelling of the eyes, swelling of the brain, calloused eyes, dry toes, dish fires.

I'm actually interested to hear from more people that had a take-away from the video. My curiosity wants to know which of the bounty shortcuts are more well known and which are used less.

Caught the second video, liked it. I solo and some of this hadn't occurred to me, and I've been playing a loooong time. So, many thanks!

Uh, well, I'm sure when that guy in another topic mentioned 10 material per 10 minutes he actually meant an entire pack (5*10) of materials per 10 minuites. And that is blazingly fast for most of players, but yet achievable with a good party where no one is slacking.

He broke it down to the time per recipe which was 25 min per recipe. Each recipe is 5 of each and each games awards 10 of each. It was definitely stating 50 minutes per game.

Another interesting thing is warzekian bracers. I tested them a while and you will have a crazy movement speed with that. But you're so fast that even with avarice band you can't pick up gold anymore. I find this not very efficient to have to give up on warezekian because of picking up gold. I'm keen to hear your opinion on that since you have tried more than me to optimize bounties.

I gave these a shot since Nemesis really don't play a great role in bounties, but i found that they were too inconsistent. The map type and number of breakables plays way too heavily into the up-time of this speed bonus. I even tried them a bit in TX rifts and found the same thing. That is of course from a melee perspective. If i had a ranged aoe style build I might feel different.

I can carry on, that's for sure.

I wanted to make sure that even newer players could follow the thought process, so for a veteran player the crafting portion and the options/skills section will be more than a bit tedious and irrelevant.

If it's just the bounty set that interests you, by all means spam your close all open windows key and skip to the actual game-play.

It is a lot in one video that's for sure. The longest portion is the full set of bounties, but i really didn't want to cut that down.

I've found that with the catapult or channel bounties that 9 times out of 10 they are spaced far enough for my Akarats to be back up, or the use of consecrate, bomb cast, and iron skin I'm still able to channel and kill everything before it reaches me. I almost always avoid killing champs in these types, since there is no kill objective. Might just be preference.

I agree, a ranged build that can screen wipe will be more efficient at the room clearing of "level 2" bounties and often times even in the more open maps that have a high kill count. The only saving grace here is that i can move through enemies at my maximum speed and kill them while continuing to traverse the map.

    Hello all,
This video is a look at bounty efficiency. This is not a guide on how to make specific speed builds or what specific skills to use. It is, however, a look at how you can play bounties more efficiently resulting in far more bounty specific crafting materials per-hour. Some people will already have this information and be using this style of play. My hope is that someone will get that last piece of the puzzle locked in and make their bounty clears even smoother.

The style of play you see in this bounty set is not for everyone. Some people play Diablo to knock over every vase, turn over every stone, and loot every item. This is by all means a perfect way to play, but this video might make you a little sad.

One of the factors that pushed me into making this video was a recent post to the front page of Diablo Fans that set a per-minute value to farming bounty materials. I felt like the estimate per-minute was drastically lower than what your average player can achieve if they just knew how to manipulate the bounties and maps in their favor. The post i'm talking about was a mathematical look at whether it's more efficient to farm base crafting materials and use the upgrade legendary from rare recipe, or if you were better suited farming bounties and using the reforge legendary recipe.

I talk about these things in the video, but i wanted to make sure everyone had a brief taste before committing to such a long video. If you jump over to YouTube you will find markers in the description to bounce around to the different sections more easily.

The faint grumblings you might hear in the video are pug snores. Otis is sorry. If only he was given an actual snout.

Thanks for having a look, and have a great one.

    *EDIT*

The feedback was fairly unanimous, the initial video was too long for your average viewer. I decided to try a different format. Hopefully take two will cut through the noise and provide you with a different view. Thanks again for your time.
