I believe if you drop something on the ground it shows up for everyone.
I don't see an issue. We don't need a 10 second timer. That would be annoying if I wanted to give my buddy something and we had to stand there 10 seconds or use the trade window.
The inventory is quite large and you shouldn't need to drop things anyways.
Well we have no idea how long it will take to specialize in one thing.
My understanding is you can specialize in only one thing at a time. It would take a fair amount of time(One assumes) to finish a specialization before moving onto the next one. This being an endgame goal. It may be more efficient to have your witch doctor specialize as well depending on the length.
You know there are 100's of other threads about this very subject. Personally I like the art direction but its a matter of taste. I have no idea what you mean by choppy and loose looking.
You've actually seen some of the first three Acts already, and we probably won't be revealing too much more than what we've already shown. We really want to try to keep as much a surprise for you when you play through the game the first time as possible. We will be announcing all of the game systems though before beta, so there are a few things left as far as reveals go. While beta will obviously be a lot of fun, should you get the chance to get in and help test, it'll only be a small part of the whole game. Some people want to know everything, but we're really trying to preserve the surprise and wonderment (that we hope will come with exploring Diablo III) as much as possible
They'll announce all the game systems before beta. So it starting before the may conference call is basically out of the question. The call actually stating the beta starting within a couple weeks is also unlikely.
Kinda sad but we can always hope for better. I'm guessing mid june at this point at the earliest unless blizzard has a huge info dump really quickly.

Somethings will forever be undefinable.

No we must endlessly rehash the same old stuff again and again.
I suppose it at least passes the time.

Give or take 2-3 months depending on how things go I would imagine.

I expect it in a modern game. Its just a matter of time until offline play for new releases for most company's will disappear altogether.
People in outlying areas or with limited connectivity will have issues but I don't see it changing.

BOE: Bind on equip. If you pick up the item its not locked to you, once you put it on your character you cannot trade it.
BOP: Bind on Pickup. If you pick the item up you cannot trade it.
Just a clarification as alot of people do not know what these terms mean.
I really hoped BOE was in or at least account based but I trust blizzard knows what they are doing.
