You're kidding, right? The source is on the front page of this site. They data mined an early unfinished client.
You're some smartass, right ?
The frontpage AFAI can see states nowhere that Diablofans.com themselves are in posession of a probably pirated pre-release.
The source could've been any another site and the editors could have been reposting someone else's news and findings.
Where did they get the client since there's no open/closed beta ?
I guess your new around here We are 99% of the time the source of any of the datamined leaks. Been like that from beta -

Zero(pS) posted a message on Rumors: Ladders Coming to Diablo 3 Reaper of SoulsEven though I don't care that much for a more competitive focused mode in D3, I also don't mind that the people who do might finally get what they want.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
As long as people don't feel forced to do it to get good items, I think both sides of the argument can live together peacefully.
Gotta wait for Blizzcon for that confirmation, though... -

Zero(pS) posted a message on Level 70 Farming Spots. Older Acts obsolete?Monster Power should keep all monsters everywhere at lvl 70.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
But it really depends on how much harder the monsters on Act V are. If they're "meh" and basic like Act 1, it might become a good farming area. Gotta also take into account Loot Runs and Nephalem Trials, which are supposed to take over as the go-to feature to farm end-game. If bosses have guaranteed Legendaries, it might be worth leveling new characters too.
So much to consider before answering that. -

Edriel posted a message on Nephalem TrialsSo I was on the american forum when I saw this:Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
As you can see there is a response from Grimiku.
The thread is this: http://us.battle.net...opic/9728912961
Luckly I was fast enough to read his post but not fast enough to get a screenshot of it, because it's now deleted.
I can assure everything I'm gonna say is what I've seen with my own eyes.
Basically Grimiku explained what Nephalem Trials are.
For the "lore side" they are places "guarded" by Ancestal Nephalems while for the "gameplay side" they are portals that the player can find around whole Sanctuary.
When the player gets in he has to do a trial and the rewards are based on the difficulty of the trial itself and on the "player's efficiency".
Does it reminds you something?
Well.. it reminds me of this: http://www.diablofan...-hells-portals/
Burning hells portals... oh yeah -

Fizpez posted a message on New Paragon discussion.Posted in: Diablo III General DiscussionQuote from Jamoose
I got a total of 148 paragon levels but it sucks because it's 72, 47, 13, 8, 4...
So yeah my account wide paragon should be like 80 i guess?
I'm going to believe the first 100 will "cost" less experience than a p100 costs right now - even if it was straight up the same and only gets more expensive from there you'll probably be in the 80 to 85 range. The 13, 8 and 4 probably dont total that much xp but the 47 is some decent xp. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

This exactly. They were an amazing company for a long time, but nothing last forever. Such a shame...

This game simply took far too long to arrive at the conclusions it came to and as we have seen they continue to try and steer it away from where the previous game was while invariably returning to its principles after seeing that it was probably a good route to take in the first place.
They are intentionally obtuse and resistant to the idea that Diablo 2 (while clearly a title worth improving and building up from) was at its core a very engaging game for a wide range of gamers. They were far too determined to creating a game that stood out from its predecessors rather than something that felt as if it was a natural next step in the franchise.
Why not pair the stellar, smooth gameplay they have created in D3 with some depth and character?

It does seem that they are surrounded by World Stone fragments (fragments being massive chunks). I also would not have guessed that Wei had produced this piece. His style is really evolving and becoming more painterly. Great stuff. I try not to get too excited for the way the artists depict cities and landscapes. Caldeum, anybody? :/ Wish we had been exploring that whole city... sigh.

Man, they have an answer for everything, and it rarely seems to be humble or just straight up open to the possibility that they should just look into fixing it.
I'd buy their argument more if the entire system lacked commas. But clearly that isn't the case. Use space, commas... whatever. Just make it easier to read visually. Essh

It makes me sad when I think of how ham-fisted Diablo 3's story and plot delivery were.

1) The story and the way they deliver the story. They created lore books to allow people to keep playing rather than stop. However any quest dialogue interrupts that lore book. So you either have to stop and listen (because moving ahead in the game invariably cuts it off to allow for new dialogue) or you go back to town and stand their listening to them (again...standing still). Pairing that with a dismal plot and character development I was heart sick knowing I waited 11 years for this product.
2) Caldeum. There was no area I was more excited to explore than that massive city. I loved Lut'Gholen in Diablo 2. This was the biggest waste of concept art the game saw.
3) Just the overall feel that they honestly missed the whole point of what Blizzard North had created and why it was successful. It's hard to fathom how they so easily dismissed the root areas that made the game stylistically awesome. Yes, Diablo 1 and 2 had really bright areas, but it also had a LOT of dark sections too. And never did the Gothic/dark vibes change because of pallet shifts. It stayed moody and foreboding.
