I started watching Pacific Rim when I noticed this towards the beginning of the movie.

Maybe just a coincidence, but was cool to see nonetheless.

Greater Horadric Caches were in beta as rewards from rifts and could be bought from Lorath for 100 blood shards, but they removed them.

I always respec a couple skills and I can complete it on the more challenging difficulties. I put on Improved Archon and Chain Reaction and it gets the job done.

I think they're fine as is.

Not like I'm asking for a method here, but exactly how are people "exploiting" Cursed Chests? Obviously, without Adventure Mode, I can't jump around the game too much, but when I go to an Act now...I start on the last quest so I can bounce around the Act as I feel like, and yeah, I tend to start with areas I know tend to spawn a Cursed Chest. Sometimes I get them, sometimes I don't. And I suppose it does sorta guide where I go to battle, but I wouldn't say it feels like an exploit, even though it has gotten me a decent amount of XP, but then again, so have events like Triage, Crazy Climber, Blaze of Glory, and Blood Ties, and I don't think those are getting nerfed/inspiring bans.

In my opinion, the only thing they should do about Cursed Chests is maybe change the XP reward based on performance: If you start/activate the event, you get a small XP reward for participation. If you survive til the end, but don't get the extra chest, you get a moderate XP reward. The biggest XP reward is for successfully meeting the requirement and winning the extra chest.

That would prevent people from taking advantage of just FINDING Cursed Chests and cashing in on big XP when they didn't actually push themselves farther along and didn't get strong enough to complete them.

The monsters in the "Kill 100 monsters" ones themselves give extremely high amounts of exp and spawn a lot of enemies. This was easily exploited for the Cursed Chest in A1 HoA 3. You just get the checkpoint for the entrance, check for the chest, rinse and repeat with a group. Each person would make their own game and the person that found it would invite the others. Grab a Monk with Cyclone Strike to suck all of the enemies in, and voila. Some of the people I'm in clan with gained more than 20 levels last night, just within a few hours time. And my low paragon friend went from 1 to 50.

I'm switching to Wizard. It was so much of a blast to play on PTR I don't want to go back to my monk right now. :P

posted a message on Anyone else feel like the Teleport skill needs a lot of work?
It's so finnicky. I'm constantly getting stuck on stairs and random objects, not just trying to teleport through walls. And the only rune I'm ever compelled to use is Wormhole because the cooldown is too high for just one Teleport on the other runes.

And with the redesign of Dashing Strike on the Monk, I feel like they really need to work on Teleport.

posted a message on Thoughts on Path of Exile?
The main reason why I ultimately decided that I hated PoE was 1.) The community is super elitist and thinks that PoE is god's gift to gamers. (Newsflash: it isn't) 2.) The game feels less like a game and more like a mechanics simulator. I tried three different times to give it a chance and play through, but I always stopped by the time I reached the 2nd act. It is just such a god awfully boring game.

posted a message on Are you happy with the legendary drop rate ?
I played the PTR with my wizard char which had less than mediocre gear, and I have upgraded every slot with gear I found in the PTR except my amulet, ring, gloves, and source.

I'm getting about the same droprates as everyone else in this thread but I haven't found another upgrade in about a week. I'm sitting at 160k dps/500k ehp

The current legendary acquisition rate is higher than planned for launch. We will continue to tune this to arrive at an ideal reward rate, but in the meantime it allows our beta testers to get their hands on a variety of items for testing purposes.

For people who wanted confirmation // didn't believe.
And what about gems and crafting materials? I still hasitate what to do with my stacks.
All of the current gems/mats will be pretty much useless in endgame.

It would be a good idea to keep at least a good bit of your crafting mats if you want to level up a crusader, you'll be able to craft him gear.

The drop rates in betas and leveling rates are way higher than in the future live game. Blizzard increases the drop rates for testing purposes - if anything is to be tested it has to drop first.
Where did you read this? Is this confirmed?

    Expert
    *200% extra gold/xp

    Master

    Torment (I-VI?)
    *Legendary drop rates are doubled.

    3. Besides Act V's completely random layouts, I do not believe so.
    4. Yes, although boss encounters show a brief pause where cutscenes would be (the game seems to mute dialogue and automatically skip them).
