I voted for 2 mins but that is with the assumption that we will have some ability to reduce that cooldown with runes or traits, etc. Otherwise, if the skill has a 30 second duration that can be lengthened the same way, I would be okay with 2 mins.

If neither of these are the case, 1 min is the max I would want to see.

Honestly, I'd be happy to see some more traits/skills.

I could see trying the default but the toggle sounds like it would be my choice. I was forever cramping my hand in D2 looking for items.

Assuming the release is timed correctly - an unlikely scenario for me:

-Who are you with
Friend/Coworker who is kind of a crappy gamer but who IS a huge Diablo fan.

-What did you do untill midnight?
Probably watch movies, play D2 or pour over the information from the beta.

-Did you stop off for snacks,or anything or did you get to your computer in 15 seconds.
We would already be stocked - buy cheap, stack deep.

-What will you do while its installing
Try to calm down or just pace back and forth.

-Will you watch intro movies or skip to game play?
Watch. Definitely.

-Did you take time off work or are you pulling an all nighterr.
Pull an all nighter - screw work.

-Single player or Bnet first?
We'd be on Bnet, obviously.

Unfortunately for me, this is all probably a pipe dream. I have a heavy school semester this fall and a kid due early '12.

Like others, I've been using Windows my whole life. I have considered giving other OSs a try but the lack of familiarity gets me frustrated every time.

There are a few things I can complain about but I really do like W7.

I rarely buy games and they are usually games that have a lot of replay-ability. There are a lot of free games that can fill the craving for me. Had a big itch for a FPS last year and ended up playing Crossfire with some guys from another forum I frequent.

It works for me. My budget is very low - even lower than my playtime - so I'm okay waiting for D3.

My gut feeling was an October beta - I'll be perfectly happy if they 'crunch' to an earlier beta release.

Nice, that's about where I thought I should go as well. I had been looking into the i5 2500k previously. But like I said, the budget isn't there. I figure unless something changes drastically, I'll be building a new box in about 2 years.
