As a beta tester, I'd like to say that I love the way the new system works. It lets you experiment way more and with that system, you can try out the effectiveness of a rune for a skill and if you dont like it, u can change it on the fly w/o having to run again to find a new rune.
IMO, one nice move from Blizz.
+ you get to unlock stuff up to lvl 60, which is nice.

I gotta say, I love my new PC. Runs smooth, runs every game in an appreciable way and didnt cost me 1500$.
IMO, SSD can be a great add on, but count 250$ for a good one (Crucial C300 and C400 are rocking right now and 128G can go out for 250$)

I went through the process of buying a new mouse recently and here's what I did.
First, I had a Logitech G-5 wired mouse. The grip is awesome but it's more of a palm mouse as opposed to a claw mouse.
The I got the money top buy a new one. So I tought: Go wireless! But I hated the fact that u have to charge the batteries. So I went all out and bought the Razer Mamba. 160$+tx. Nice mouse, nice packaging but it's more of a claw type mouse which gave me cramps after 1h or so of gaming. So i returned it. Then I got the Mad Catz Cyborg R.a.t.7. Fully ajustable, many cool options and spare parts. Once again, more of a claw type mouse. Even with all the ajustments, i couldnt find a setup that didnt gave me cramps. So returned it, again and I got the Logitech G-500, which is this year's replacement for the G-5 I had. I still got this mouse, and for me, it's the best! Love the gaming position, cool to work with (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Internet, etc) and it's a bit cheaper than those other mices I bought.
My advise, check out the Razer Deathadder, which is basicly the wired version of the Mamba and a lot cheaper. Or you can go with the Mad Catz Cyborg R.a.t.7 or 5 (which is cheaper). The Mad Catz is a solid product, aluminium frame, nice customisation and affordable.
...Or you raised a bad point and we're raising good points to counter it.
...Or your points are not based on any facts. Thats why I don't bother countering them.
+ If you read correctly, I was referring to the design of the game, like level design and spells effects. Sure u can't make a fireball look like a frost bolt but you can spice it up a little.
Anyways, you guys don't seem to see that I LOVE Diablo 3, I LOVE all Blizz games and I'll definitely leave behind TL when D3 is out.
Ok just to make myself clear, I am not saying that anyone stole anything here. Only pointing out the fact that Blizzard, with the high standard they are imposing on their games, should pay attention to the OBVIOUS similarity Diablo 3 has with Torchlight.
I agree they don't get the rights on the CLEAVE and the prison and that they will certainly improve on that a lot. I also think that Diablo 3 will be one of the greatest RPG Hack-n-Slash ever made. But don't make us say " Wow, I saw that almost exactly in an other game".
The fact that they probably designed the prison level after Torchlight was out makes me wonder... I agree that developers often get ideas from other games around them but in this case, I think they could come up with some more inspired level since its been in developement for like 10 years...
I've just begun playing Torchlight and since I started the game, I found myself thinking "O my god! this is just like that Diablo 3 video i saw". And when i thought this was only a coincidence, I find myself thinking that again a few minutes later. Let me point some things that I think are really similar in Diablo 3 and Torchlight.
Skeletons with shield blocking a bridge, check
Warrior, barb, that uses a cleave attack with a red "swoosh", check
Shield that slows things around you, check
Shared stash, check,
Wandering vendors, check,
Prison in a molten sea of lava, check,
and on and on,
My point is, Torchlight came out in 2009, sure Blizzard didn't stole anything from Runic Games but they sure took a lot of inspiration on what they saw in that game. I'm a huge Diablo 3 fan BTW, I await this game like a priest awaits the coming of the christ. If you played Torchlight and have anything you would like to add, please do so.
