No I didn't forget about my other thread but sjees! That thread is more messy than my room and my room is messy!
So anyway, some of you might already know that I've done a let's play of Dead Space.
This LP is currently done so here is a nice little link:
Let's Play Dead Space 1 - Part 1
It has 47 parts in total and is pretty much a blind run.
I recently started my let's play of Dead Space 2 after a long period of not recording at all. Real life was not being very friendly and even right now I'm not happy at all about it but I can't just abandon my buddies now can I?
Here is the first part for those who are interested, uploading part 13 today and I'm pretty much trying to upload an average of one part every day.
Let's Play Dead Space 2 - Part 1
Not sure how many parts it has but it's a blind run in which I do not use the DLC content (makes you overpowered at the beginning of the game). I'm planning to showcase the dlc in a bonus episode, no promises though!
As for everything else, still planning to do that amnesia dlc. It's just that a couple of my fans made it sound very scary and hard so I'm somewhat avoiding that game right now.
I dropped terraria, as the original plans I had for that game dropped due to unfavourable developments in my private life. I tried it solo but the game wasn't enjoyable for me anymore so that's all gone now.
Owel, how is everybody doing?

edit: OMG ITS RUSSIAN AIRANDIUS AGAIN!!! WHERE HAVE U BEEN????
I've always been making LP videos. I just did not touch this site all that much.
I wonder though if there is a way for small let's players like me and Madnek to get the attention from the bigger masses. I haven't found it yet, how most LP'ers are so insanely popular.

hey man, i'd like to watch some of those especially the horror. but i dont want to since i rather not see the spoilers. rather play them myself, but i'd like to see Silent Hill part 1, Conkers Bad Fur day, Kings quest part 1(just want to see what you say about being turned into a gingerbread man), south park n64 (just want to see what u say bout the turkeys an pissin on a snowball to kill said turkey).
I only have a computer and emulators don't really do it for me so I'm sticking with pc only games.
you should make a list of all the games you made videos of, an i'll check out one that i already played before.
There is a slightly out of date but very detailed list in the original post of this thread and there is a very compact but updated list in my youtube channel description. (On the left.)
and i enjoy watchin the angry video game nerd if this is something like that, have you seen the nerd play bugs bunny game an then beat the shit outta bugs bunny? an he takes a shit on his head. just wish the video nerd would play more up to date type games. all he plays is really old fashion first nintendo type stuff.
want see nerd play conker.
I know him, he's pretty fun sometimes. Though it happens when it looks a bit forced.
Though old games are his style, pretty much like action and indie games are my style. (Somehow Horror is a huge theme but I don't actually play those all that much.)

I think Terraria is pretty entertaining to watch, mostly because it is the kind of game I probably would like but not want to play at the same time as Minecraft, so it is good that someone else can do it for me I wonder though, is there an end to Terraria (the game or the LP) or will you just go on with it until you get bored?
I'll continue until bored most likely, you know, when it starts getting repetitive.
Depending on it's popularity I'll see how long I'll be doing it. If it somehow hits 1000 views per video it's worth playing it.

Amnesia - The Dark Descent is actually quite scary. The atmosphere is amazing.
This, the game literally fucks with your mind. I hate scary games though, still played it, heck I made a video series out of it because it made me feel more comfortable.

ewww terraria is too boring to watch.
enjoyed the dead space though!
Well Amnesia most likely tomorrow and Dead Space 2 next week. So plenty to watch if you are more into action.
Jun 30, 2011Why hello there.Posted in: Other Games
As always, good luck with getting successful! Becoming a popular let's player is tedious hard and not to forget impossible without a lot of luck.
You sure have the potential for it though.
Jun 30, 2011What time is it everybody? Yes! Time for bacon!Posted in: Other Games
Also have an update for you guys. A lot has happened.
- Dead Space has been completed and boy was it fun. I'll be getting some money soon so Dead Space 2 will start around the weekend of July the 9th.
- I started Terraria after a long wait, it's going to be a solo let's play sadly but that can be fun as well. Part 1
All the support, sharing it at other sites and any other promotion is welcome. It's a tough world out there for LP'ers.
- I'm going to start Amnesia soon, still not sure when cause I'm sure I'll be suffering from a sever lack of sleep but it will come!

Wont work due to lag/desync. Ie huge lag from cali to eu server. Might work if he was on other coast
Yes, your connection is severely weaker when connecting from EU to USA and the other way around.
But is this seriously still an issue for some people?
I have the slowest internet available for my locations, which is 30mb up and down.
When connecting to USA I can get maybe 10-15mb up and down but that is still more than enough.
Some arguments are just way outdated with today's technology.

GPU temperatures are highly dependant on the airflow of your case. I have a terrible case and motherboard positioning.
My card can reach 100C without trouble. When opening the case the temperature dropped by 10C. (When you have a good case, opening it up could increase temperature.)
Also never blow wind against hardware to cool it. You are basically blowing the hot air around the hardware against it. Not to forget you are blowing dust against it.
Jun 6, 2011Well if you want to take the risk and upgrade your GPU or something like that be sure that your computer has a strong enough PSU.Posted in: General Discussion
When I wanted to upgrade my 9600GT into a Radeon HD 4870 I needed a new powersupply otherwise it would just not run.
Jun 5, 2011I'm going to be honest, upgrading is not in your best interests.Posted in: General Discussion
You said you bought it in 2008 so you have had it for around 2-3 years now. It depends on how frequently you used it, the amount of maintenance you've done and the climate in which the computer it's located but it's save to say that upgrading it wont increase your computers life for that much.
My computer, also assembled in 2008 which I upgraded twice in it's lifetime is now in a near to death state (which is bad considering my LP's). The upgrades I did increased the life of my computer by roughly a year but the CPU, Motherboard and Ram has been used too much.
This is partly due to a incompatible case that causes higher temperatures and poor maintenance but in the most ideal conditions, most computers that are used on a daily basis wont last longer than 4 years.

Dec 17, 2009Didn?t they slip with 1.13? And as a side note, I consider WoW a slip. It practically ruined thousands of lives. It just controls the weak minded (and the worst cases are in China).Posted in: News
+ The gameplay is very linear through the entire game. (Gameplay between a lvl 5 and lvl 70 w/e is the same. But I'm sure it must be me, I tried the game. PvP was boring, PvM was boring I stopped playing.

Dec 17, 2009I do notice the day/night cycle and weather in D2.Posted in: News
I find it really nice without taking you away from the game.
I'm sure we might not notice it when it's there. But when it's gone you'll be saying in the back of your head: Something is wrong.... But what?
It's like this say we have: You wont miss something till it's gone.
I'm sure that Blizzard will make it good looking either way, but there is only so much you can do to an environment that makes it look like night or day.
As night is in the end, the same as day but without the sun as a dynamic light.
Dec 17, 2009They might also summon flying scimitars like the ones in D2. Man they were epic.Posted in: News
But honestly, I really think they are going for middle eastern, there seems to be a pattern.
Barbarian - Northern Europe (Scandinavia) (Tundra, Cold Area's)
Witch Doctor - Africa (Jungles) - South America (Jungles)
Wizard - Asia (Low Lands, imperial age of china focus).
Monk - Asia (Mountians, mountain temple focus (you still have them).
So we are missing a clear desert class.
Dec 16, 2009Man you are fast in making threads.Posted in: News
Anyway I?m quite worried about this.
Day/Night cycles are nice and all but if the cycle is static depending on the reason it might become odd when you go back to an other region.
They really need to flesh it out a bit more.
Also it would make the game feel a lot shorter in story wise. If the entire game is as big as D2, days should pass fairly quick or you will get this feeling: Hmm this is day 5 but I'm already in the 4th act.
However this is less of an issue then the first problem (going back) and wont trouble me in the slightest.
However, I would like one as in D2.
Just remove dynamic light source *sun*, reduce all light that other light sources generate.
Turn down colors and add some other background music.
That would do it for me, there is no need to make night and day epic looking.
If done right the system in D2 would work as fine as it does in other modern time games that have day/night cycles. It's really not that hard.
Dec 16, 2009A middle eastern character so to speak.Posted in: News
Dec 14, 2009Posted in: NewsQuote from "Don_guillotine" »Why does that same post appear repeatedly as new?
He most likely copies his old post, deletes it then creates a new post and adds an edit.
While it's the wrong way to edit a post it does increase the chance it's read and there is no rule telling you that you can't do this.
It's slightly annoying though.
Dec 14, 2009Either they made a new rogue group for this character. Or due to the losses led by Andariel the Sisters of the Sightless Eye decided to recruit males aswell in order to defend the pass.Posted in: News
Dec 11, 2009Buy a windows, dispte microsoft being worse at making OS then Mac.Posted in: News
At least windows can play games.
Mac is more for proffesional users, people that work or have a hobbie in the graphic design area.
Windows is for casuals and gamers.
Linux... Guess IT ers would like this one for it's modding powers.
Dec 11, 2009The fact they give support does not have to mean it?s good support.Posted in: News
They made it look as if this a massif patch that would add so much.
Can you blame people being disappointed when looking at the ?massif? list?
Just that you work does not mean that you earn a paycheck, it needs to be good work aswell.
Just that they give a patch does not mean they earn our honor, respect w/e, it needs to be a good patch in order to get positive replies.
And imo, this patch is changing the game for me (and some others) negative. It almost seems like a Diablo 2 1.13 Noob Edition. They made the game so much more easy.
I'll stick with mods and 1.12 tyvm.
Dec 11, 2009This thread reeks of disapointement and fanboys.Posted in: News
Oh and balancing isn't all that hard, and who cares if one item is better by 4 fps. There is always something as a best.
Adding a few sets and items in between other items and one very hard to get engame set for all classes. That would be nice,
Dec 10, 2009Posted in: NewsQuote from "scyberdragon" »I was holding off for the patch hoping for some new content but nothing. I don't think I'm going to restart D2 until I get the craving again a few months from now.
At least I'm not the only one who is disappointed.
You have to admit this patch is nothing but averige. Some games nowadays don't even consider it a patch and just do a sneaky update.
I wanted new content aswel, not just some fixes that don't really bother.

Dec 10, 2009I?m very disappointed.Posted in: News
I only play local with my brother. So the world event is nothing but crap.
The bugs... I don?t encounter them.
The balance changes... did not add anything good for me, they were fine before.
Everything else is beyond mentioning, this patch took so long.. And this is what we get?
I expected at least something for local network players.
Guess 1.13 wont make me play D2 more.
Dec 9, 2009Why hell? With the destruction of that stone the prime evils (and angels) no longer have limits as of how long they could stay in sanctuary.Posted in: News
Seeing how the prime evils want to conquer Sanctuary it would be more likely you kill them in Sanctuary and then later in an expansion go to hell/heaven.
The way I see how they travel: (Bear with me, I know almost nothing about the Geography of D3.)
Act I (Khanduras):
You start in the forest area near Tristram, you move west just like in D2 however this is all in one act. You do not spend much time in a desert like are but more in a savanna flavored area. (North Aranoch?) You use a ship to reach Kehjistan obviously.
Act II (Kehjistan):
Using a boat you enter southwest Kehjistan, you keep moving west towards Caldeum.
This act is desert mainly, at the end you near the river in east Kehjistan. This area could be similar to how Egypt looks like with their river. You use the river to go up north to the Dry Steps.
Act III (Dry Steppes):
I assume this area somewhat like Act 5 of D2. But more tundra like then having mountains around. At first you start in a rocky environment like D2 Act 5.
While proceeding north to Tul Dura it becomes more desolate and cold, a wasteland but without being a desert.
With more trees lol. A lot more trees.
Think about Russia.
For some reason you found what you were looking for (getting some power to defeat Diablo maybe) and now you are heading towards The Dreadlands to defeat Diablo.
Act IV (Dreadlands):
This are is the last are and starts in an area like Act III but slowly becomes more corrupted and destroyed.
Think about purple energies and cracks and of course volcanic activity due to the explosion making the crust (geography) very weak.
In the end I expect lavafalls (waterfalls of lava) and lots of glowing, steaming hot torment.
Dec 2, 2009[quote name='luc1027']yeah, many game adopt an ergonomic system that called "undo" so before confirm, you can test as your wish. After confirmed your choice is respecsPosted in: News
I want undo and respecs/quote]
Undo things are pretty good. And yes the gold value I stated was merely filler.
However when you respec your entire build isn't it more fun to start from scratch? Well must be a personal thing then. I think it's lame to just go from Berserker to Juggernaut overnight for example.
