This will be my last post regarding you at all. You have proven yourself over and over as non reliable source of information on more then one occassion. If you trully believe that News articles are not edited and story boarded then you need to go work a few days in any media outlet. Whether that be a newspaper, television, radio or other.

I have enjoyed many of your posts. It is good to read a decent arguement from more of a liberal point of view. Countries that didn't send their troops there did not see the whole thing. I can't count how many times on a convoy we stopped to have the locals come out and thanks us for being there. We gave out millions in pounds of food and water. The cost of this war has far succeeded any profit we have obtained in cut oil prices. In fact we actually have gone the other route and raised the cost per barrel.
The American public is paying a higher price for oil as in most countries across the globe. I say the US because we are the highest dependants of raw oil in the world.
That being said, there have been many arguements and claims that Bush has done this for the sole purpose of making himself richer being that he has ties with oil companies. It has been proven time and time again that he has not profitted from this in anyway, nor have the oil companies here. This war sparked an inflation in oil.
Either way I will not be posting more on this issue. It would appear I am arguing with people that truely have no understanding or valid information. If you want me to post any valid support information from the research commitee's created by the Democrats in the senate of the US just ask. Until you read some of those claims please do not post your conspiracy theories.
Lastly, I did ask myself why I was there. I never once answered myself. The people of Iraq did that for me. As much as I disliked Bush for why I was there in the first place. To see the faces of the ones we liberated was all worth it.

It is true that refresh rates do not apply to LCD's. It's mostly a gimmick.
As a regular user, I cannot close threads. As for whether or not I would, it depends wholly on how stupid the questions are. Some of them are borderline ridiculous already but since I'm bored, I decided to humor everyone.
It's called windowed mode and the game has to support it. More times than not, there is an option in the graphics setting for doing so. Outside of that, some games can be forced into windowed mode using a command line parameter, but this is not the case for all games. Check online for information about your specific game.

Personally, I would look for a better motherboard and possibly a different processor. The Q6700 is a great processor, but there are other choices. I'd stay away from Asus, but that's just me.
Everything else is fine I suppose.

If you like it, that's great. It's the fact that you got an attitude when I stated how I felt about it that pisses me off.
I see you don't like my taste in music. Sweet. You can bash it all day. What you won't see me do is call you a dumb ass because you don't like it. I won't defend it at all. I will say that most of the music I like is written by the artist, performed by the artist using actual instruments and has some sort of vocal range. This does not.
Like I said, if you enjoy it, keep on enjoying it. Do not tell me I'm narrow minded because I don't like it. I spend a lot of my time finding new, underground artists. I listen to 10 bands I've never heard of every single day. Don't for one second think I don't know the industry and what kind of effort goes into certain types of music.
I can tell you this right now. Very little goes into this. This band specifically puts forth almost zero effort. I may not enjoy metal, but I know that playing some of the stuff metal bands play on guitar is incredibly difficult and they get credit where it is due. Combichrist deserves none. That's all there is to it. They have no integrity as artists.

Learn to use constructive criticism instead of putting him down. It's a work in progress and he's not doing a bad job. It's stuff like this that causes good people to have low self esteem.

Are you implying two 8800GT's will be slow? If you are, you're retarded.
You can get two of them for less than $400 and they are actually faster than an 8900GX2. You do the math and figure out which is a better deal.
With 3-way SLI, its more economical to get three 8800GT's than it is to get an 8900GX2.
The prices on the 8900GX2 will not drop until Nvidia releases a faster card.
And to the comment about the mobile and desktop GPU's using a different architecture... they don't. They use almost the exact same chips. What changes is the amount of memory available. The reason the desktop GPU price changes and released don't affect mobile releases is because they are two completely seperate markets. No one looking to buy a 8900GX2 is going to consider buying a laptop. It doesn't make sense to if they want top of the line performance, which is clearly what they want.
