Secondly, the teasing occurs because of two reasons. People here are thrown into giddy tizzies when even irrelevant news is posted (this one). Oh, and it's so damn easy. -

Linux works fine. Most games won't. Also, there is an extremely small chance Blizzard will release a Linux version. -

Highly unlikely. -

What if by some odd chance I am right ? !
My computer indicates you have a 0% probability of being right.
Quote from "ov3erlord" »not that goodguy8705 would be a less homo nickname... anyway, the three is there for obvious reasons, as the original overlord was already taken
I never said my name wasn't gay. Most people, and by most, I actually mean moderately not retarded, put the number at the end and not randomly in the middle. -
May 16, 2008goodguy8705 posted a message on Blizzcon 2008 AnnouncedWhat I meant was, WoW 2 won't exist until WoW loses steam, and badly. I predict that there will be no WoW 2 for at least 8 years.Posted in: News

May 16, 2008goodguy8705 posted a message on Blizzcon 2008 AnnouncedThey aren't working on WoW 2. That would be entirely stupid. You can immediately stop thinking that this is a possibility because I said so.Posted in: News

May 16, 2008goodguy8705 posted a message on Blizzcon 2008 AnnouncedPosted in: NewsQuote from "ov3erlord" »choosing october for the con to be not near other cons is imo a stupid excuse for something else.. who the hell cares if there are other cons around? certainly not blizzard, as they did not care for the last years, why now? which is the same for other developers. summer, is a good time for major happenings for many reasons and not only game cons, music festivals, concerts, other stuff just in summer. its like somebody would shift an annual rock festival to late winter, because there are so many other rock bands having concerts around the area at that time.
i think this has absolutely nothing to do with onther cons.. its more like when your boss asks you why didnt you finish a task, you obviously say that you had so many other things on your mind and didnt have time, but in fact you are just a lazy kid using that as an excuse..
and the second question might have been stupid, just as the talk about where will they annonce the game
Actually, I'm right. It's cool for you to want to argue though. I'm game.
Look at it this way. If I have $100 for August, and there are multiple Con's I'd like to go to, why would I go to Blizzcon? You might choose Blizzcon over all the others (probably a stupid decision), but most people wouldn't. It's called eliminating competition. It's not similar to concerts in any way.
What the fuck is up with your username? What's the 3 supposed to be? An "e" maybe? Then you are oveerlord, which is homo. Elaborate. -
May 15, 2008goodguy8705 posted a message on Blizzcon 2008 AnnouncedPosted in: NewsQuote from "ov3erlord" »look, something new has to appear because:
blizzcon usualy takes place in summer. now, for some reason its pushed into october. and i vote for the announcement on wwi, because if they wanted to announce it on blizzcon, why wouldnt they hold blizzcon on june 29?
It's held in October because Blizzard doesn't want it to be held near the time of other cons.
That last question is just plain stupid. -

I'm not 100% sure if that's a compliment or not, but that's how I'm going to take it. -

I cannot stress this enough. Agreeing with me will make enemies for you. A lot of people can't handle my awesome "in your face" attitude and my epicly blunt honesty.
Where were you guys last year? -
May 15, 2008goodguy8705 posted a message on Blizzcon 2008 AnnouncedPosted in: NewsQuote from "dunhac82" »This confuses me? You don't want to have to be in here? Who says you have to? I think people can have their theories and speculation as long as it's something they believe; even if they're wrong who cares?
I can't ethically allow stupidity to flourish.
Quote from "dunhac82" »TI think anyone has the possibility to be right or wrong.
Not really.
Quote from "dunhac82" »Maybe we are all wrong?
Highly probable.
Quote from "dunhac82" »Last time I checked no one on here works for blizzard.
So you think.
Quote from "dunhac82" »It's fun to speculate because it brings hope; you can look all over the net the people here aren't the only ones who share in some of these theories.
Just because a large amount of people think something that's stupid isn't, doesn't mean its not stupid.
A wise man (me, of course) once said, if you prepare for the worst, and hope for nothing, you can never be disappointed.

Quote from "Blades11" »Goodguy, shooting down theories is like eating cake, it's very easy, messy, and delicious.
Mind if I help you?
It's easy for me, yes.
Here are the basic rules to shooting down a stupid rumor you and everyone else must follow to be a member of the team:
1. Be witty.
2. Be insulting.
3. Care about nothing, including peoples feelings.
4. Be right.
5. If you must be wrong, be wrong ambiguously.
If you can handle that, welcome to the team. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Also, without any description whatsoever, it's impossible to tell what the plot is, even after watching the movie.
Cool vibe though. Not a huge fan of guyliner.

How can a developer not know their game is shit? Everyone else knows. They should too.

Also, definitely check out Divine Divinity. In my opinion, easily one of the best isometric RPG's ever created. Skip Beyond Divinity.

While I'm not trying to defend the movie, I would like to clear some things up. I'm going to assume that by "freeze" you mean return to it's natural state, or solid state. I don't think this scene is incredibly realistic, but there is a difference between molten metal becoming solid and water becoming ice. If I'm not mistaken, and I could be, molten metal can solidify in 20-30 seconds at room temperature so it does seem possible that it could be hardened in mere seconds if exposed to sub-zero temperatures in the form of a liquid/gas applied to the surface.
While the bomb dropped on Nagasaki was nuclear, it's detonation was triggered through conventional explosives.
