    Dude I hope not thatd suck, I was looking forward to Vaulting behind groups of zombies, FoK them to slow em down and kill em off with Multi-shot or bola. You would think it would have a CD around the same as Barb's Leap because theyre both kinda escapeish skills, except Leap does damage...

    I also have to disagree, with all the skills youll be using playing DH, Vault to get at range, laying traps, and all the tools to snare and slow enemies, you're going to be doing so much that I seriously doubt youll notice the DW xbow animation (if of course you choose to use dual xbows). The Demon Hunter's skills complement the class being a range only class perfectly, even with the small number of skills we know about. Youre going to be constantly Vaulting away from groups and snaring/slowing them, I really dont think it will be as big of a deal that people are making that.

    That can be used to justify anything. Why not double javelins, then? double spears? double staves? double wands? double throwing knives/axes/etc?     Maka that is what makes classes in Diablo unique from each other. Barbs have dual wield 2h weapons because they are powerful(and im pretty sure they would have no problems DWing spears). Dual javelins would work pretty realistically...as they are thrown alone with the rest of the throwing weapons. Monks would have no problem dual-wielding staves...I mean they are a martial arts based class. So every example you stated to be so unrealistic there was just proved logically by the diversity of talents that come along with different classes.

    Demon Hunters can DW small crossbows, only problem is an explanation from Blizzard as to why its possible as Bash said. Really if you think its a crap class..don't play it, if you have such a huge problem with a small question of weapon logistics then dont play D3. Really you're just whining now as before where you were making decent arguments. And..really I didnt know that elemental enchanted axes were realistic, must be out of the loop.

    come on maka we all know invisible weapons wouldnt make for a good game, lol. Thats just silly..and i dont think we would be playing d3 if that were the case.

    You guys missed my point. What I'm saying here is that I'm sure they'll fix the crossbow mechanics because of the large number of complaints, who know maybe not it is Blizzard. Idk maybe they will use "magic bolts" as a mechanic instead of physical ones...guess we'll wait and see.

    Believe me, I want the best quality Diablo game that Blizzard can come up with. But the beta hasn't even been announced so there is still so much we dont know. As for shadow bolts and using magic, you most likely just guessed a skill that hasnt been announced. So Ryu quit freaking out until at least the Beta Skill Trees have come out for the class. Im sure Blizzard has noticed the complaints about DW crossbows on all the forums and will come up with something

    Finally, the "it's a game" argument is not ignorant at all..dude it's a game which means the creators can follow their own rules and decide what they want implemented. You are complaining about the lack of realism in a fantasy game. Come on man, really?

    I dont know I cant justify what Blizzard does in their games besides say that ..it doesent matter cause dual crossbows are gonna be the shit, so it doesent matter. Or..it's a game and for Blizzard had to sacrifice reload animation for dw crossbows...cause its kind of impossible to do. IMO idc that there isn't reload animation because the idea of firing two 1h crossbows is worth it.

    Edit: And like I said if you care that much about reload animation just dont play the class or stick to 2h bows

    Yeah but if they're dual wield cross bows they wont really need the reload animation because mauling down walls of demons running at you with em is cool enough. For those who dont like the idea of dualing xbows use a regular bow and 2h xbow, then youll get your reload animation (im assuming).

    What are you two talking about? I argue that when you guys say thing like using magic to reload; your're not using logic at all. I'm talking blizzard and some souls out there aren't using logic at all.

    Crossbows are mechanic device. You can't change the way they function, unless you change the design. Crossbows uses a string of something and projectile like bolt are fed into the xbows. This maybe a fantasy game, but lets not making things without a sense of how things work.

    Even magic have their limitations. I'm sure you can manipulate some form of energy into that bolts crafted from the bones of demons to produce dire effects. The absolute basic of xbows is pretty much can sum into two functions.
    1. To hold the projectile
    2. to fire the projectile. (and yes, amazon magic shot is considered; using mana/magic to form a physical-energy projectile)

    This is pure logic here. Magic effects after whatever the projectile the xbows fires. Read the amazon lore.

    Dude when I said that they used shadow magic it was just a suggestion, it was stated last for a reason. I was actually more leaning towards the fact that they have knowledge of weapons and traps and could rig a crossbow to auto reload. I hate making a reference to WoW on a Diablo forum but as I recall...no one freaked out when hunters ammo was taken away and they just magically had an endless supply of arrows which is even more unrealistic. Anyway its a game and if dual wield crossbows reload themselves..they do. End of story. Its just silly to argue about it.

    My suggestion that DH's using shadow magic btw was a far fetched suggestion as to why they might anyway.

    And... do souls = people? lol

    But yeah seriously, like I said earlier Ryu, it's a game, I was just giving reasons how reloading DW crossbows would work realistically for Ophion and others who were upset about how a character would reload dual-wield crossbows for Demon Hunter. I myself love the idea, but yeah I can see how people wouldn't agree with me. The reason I love the idea is that it's a new twist on ranged based classes instead of the old choice of bow and crossbows in D2 (javelins were dual wielded and I loved my javazon). I think that the DW crossbows adds character to the Demon Hunter class, adds to the classes vengeful, kill every demon in sight essence. I mean really? Dual Crossbows is an awsome idea imo, i cant wait

    Really, I don't know why people are so hung up on DH dual-wielding crossbows. For one, its a game there are plenty of things unrealistic that make less sense than auto-reloading crossbows. If they have the knowledge and ability to use traps, why would DH's having the ability to have auto-reloading crossbows be so unrealistic. Also they dabble in shadow magic which could be another reason why its possible.
