Nice piece of write.
I never thought of shrine as something necessary for D2, and it itself has the potential to ruin pve gameplay quality, in fact I'm glad they scrap all the foolish boosting, powering up it does.
Yes, if it is simply bonus for your exp when killing hordes of demon instantenously, it's still stupid the idea of it, but if they're willing to develop it into more sophisticated construct of killing rather than blowing everything up at once. For the bonusing experiences for killing is a great idea.

I think my post was deleted immediately after it is online. Is that really necessary?
I see people said a lot worst than the playful two sentence I used. see one post usesbastardon others, and I'm certainly not being judgemental like someone who I was referring to.
Really have to go that far? -

Some people are just afraid of change and progression. They have a hard time visualizing how the change will actually play out so they reject it.

There's a reason why this goes on and on, the texture they choose, the absences of the medieval theme, character attributes auto distribution.
And there's certain sensible aspect to why Blizzard is "naturally" making everything so aggressive for debate. It is to expand its product's market without the exclusive needs to match the standard of the cult followers for d2/d1.
So a hunk for DH makes the charc more approachable for general public, but lesser meanings for cult fan base. -

So now Ophion is saying it's vary to translate the angel's act in Diablo.Quote from Ophion
Their intentions has nothing to do with the methods they use to achieve them. Sending down a random meteor that turns people undead? Really?
Perhaps saying even if the meteor is sented from heaven, there's a purpose behind it?
Perhaps saying there's some history of diablo he had follow through with that gives their method other interpretations? -

I don't know that the cultists are powerful enough to summon a huge meteor. Whoever is behind the cultist's rise to power probably is though. I don't see how someone that evil isn't somehow connected to Hell though.
And we should keep in mind that the Angels in Diablo are much more sinister than the angels in the Bible. Not to mention that God/Jesus raising the dead is part of the Apocalypse, so its not out of the question that the Heavens are commanding the dead in D3.
My freak juice is flowing just by you contributing such fun facts. Angels in Diablo are sinister? (mmmm monsterous elemental beings?)
No argument with bible's reference; and I simply feel joyful for how literal can the dev team be with the activities of angels in Diablo.
I really should start paying attention to Diablo story content. And of course I'm prepared to take considerable focuse in D3's storyline. While I've never taken a serious notion to Diablo plotwise in the past, I'll admit much of it has to do with the age when I engaged in D1 on playstation platform. Mmm, but such facinating knowledge for the activities angels played in the story of Diablo. -

I have a feeling Necromancer might return in an expansion (two expansions is a real possibility). This is because WD isn't an archetype summoner, but bit of a hybrid.
Wouldn't that be nice. That will be a recapturing of something important for me actually (defnitely not talking about pet mechanics this time :>)
I learned the word "necromancer" because of the need of knowing why my character look so weird. This was in my six grade? Fifth? No clue, remove my father's big-whale-stomache dictionary from the study and check on the whole deal of necro myself. Quite satisfying.
Can we look forward to the dev team annually expanding the game's content? Do you think that's possible? -

This is indeed a very good argument.
While someone might argue that having no ability to micromanage your pets is detrimental to one's ability to play the kind of WD they want, I think that it is exactly the other way around.
It'd be an easy cop out for them to just have a pet bar similar to what WoW has, with commands such as "attack", "follow" and "stay. Then they wouldn't have to bother making a decent AI for the pets.
There's got to be more to it than stay/defensive/offensive. Sorry if I'm completely obsessive with this thread, for I'm subconsciously driven to the idea that one of Blizzard's staff is reading this post, and Bashiok's interest was meant to see how the community reacts.
Here I'll say this, even if most players will focuse on solo activities to one's builds pontential, the "instructions" creation doesn't really hurt the format infact the two dementional world of Diablo encourages it, and I think a true summoner is something decent to be looking forward to in the new Diablo.
I think some people's blood can get real pumped up for this possibility. A Witch Doctor. Obviously this can be dealt with without making it as dramatic as RTS standard. Maybe I'm battleing alone here, but I see summoners as something that was eventually going to evolve out of Necro. And it could allow summoners pvp viable as well.
Why not take considerable care into what this system can accomplish? Is there really no one out there wants to see a Diablo version of a summoner? The angle of its world really can give a clear picture of what a summoner should look like. -

I see all positive things coming out of this direciton as well. Cannot remember when was this being established by Jay Wilson though, but it is an important aspect of Diablo 3 for us to look forward to.Quote from duffman
Keep in mind that bosses are going to be a lot more interesting than they were in D2. Blizzard said themselves that they want to make bosses more like a Zelda boss, and from what we've seen so far, there is going to be a lot more happening in a boss fight that just a simple attack/dodge scenario. Couple that with the number of skills and rune variances, I find it hard to believe you will want to just use one skill.
The real step up would've been any possible D3 world editor release from Blizzard. Unfortunately it's been decline gently by the development team themself.

Man, they know how to speak to a naive crowd. Yes, I'm sure you'll be really happy when you realize that this extremely inaccurate comments, translated to: "Well, I hoped that we would, but I can't say exactly how it is because it might just not happen. And here the game is released and you get some lame ass options. But hey, people we're happy about it until they bought it. Win!"
They shouldn't even be allowed to talk if they're going to be so stupidly vague.
That's a bummer, it's true though.
I was going for a fan comment reinforcement to Bashiok's statement with stronge approval. But it's true the depth will never go into a real "instruction" we hope to be specific with.
Why do I really feel that way though? Probably the same as you do. The sense of pet "micro" doesn't theme to the kind of game they're going for? God I hope that's not true. But there is an idea oh sir we all know that very well, and the right for us to handle creative minion micros are not favored, too much "brain" to be gifted into the world they're going for.
Therefore I can only applaud to whatever additional features to be add into a summoner's deal. -

Does diablo 3 allow player to micro pets like in titan's quest?
Sort of. Direct control of their actions, no, but there's a lot of thought and strategy that can go in to pet control far beyond just summoning new ones when the old ones die.
There're so much excitement in me now for knowing there's more to it than exploding my pets brains out when they are looking fried. Just the thought of now minions are being dealt in more depth, I can calmly execute any further worrisome comments that has been swimming in my mind ever since the first zombie dog revealed its inners in great purple clouds. Hey, whatever. As long as they're "having a lot of thought" for any sense of pet controls. Great post. -

This tweet tells us that one of the runes will turn the fetish army into Bone Fetishes, those pesky little undead that blow up violently upon death. I see this having a lot of nasty applications for PvP situations. Nothing to turn the tide of an arena battle like a horde of exploding skeletal pygmies.
I don't think I'm excited to learn more of Witch Docotr's summoning skill has relations to exploding themselves up.
This is not simply a question from individual players' interest, this is how the pet mechanics are ever going to have a more sophisticated stand for gameplay value.
I don't see implementing some simple key instruction will ever harm the idea of how D3 works. Will people who hates wow really say no to an in-depth feature for small minion micro?
A little more strategy to its usage can really create more rooms of sophisticated builds arround a Summoning-Doc.
Otherwise personally, I will avoid all pets related builds for my Doc. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Why, of course bola shot looks awsome, it's Indiana Jonesey enough with its wrapping stuff up to explode them to christmas shreds, I can take it more comfortably comparing to pets bombing and exploding people's heart out with a nice pat on your fracking palm.

I'm disgusted!
If not out of my way on the following, I do experience my difficulties when being disturbed by someone's knocking and pulling my fucking door knob.
I don't like having to shutdown my proceeding, and pluck! having to continue my proceeding knowing there's a female monkey outside ready to jump in. In a perfect world, I'll finish up nicely and exit the place, two minutes after I exited the station, I'll return and knock the life out of that door knob to prove whatever I experienced inside.
Yes, in a perfect world.

Enemy units at the area will have to retreat or overmass attacks on zombie charger's health points, the zombie charger charger will remain in its settled position.
Zombie charger becomes special cast unit for WD's use. Zombie charger is Jason's special, special boy.
Proving the concept of meat shield with a different angle.

This movie's main character in storywise is chosen for his unique mind, promising to fight over the instituional mass of an empire rule by the villans, those are people who wear suits and can chase people down very fast. It is ironically starred by an actor in real life who's actually consider quite retarded.
So when the camera takes close-ups on his good looking angel-look, its supposably pure mind actually always strikes me as being pure dumb. This movie is actually great, and people who are crazy about it will actually really hate me for what I said.
The actor himself however, has trouble saying things without sounding superstitious in a really amazing way.
Should I be giving scenes information? I never done this before.
(edit: It's okay to ignore this one guessing game, and start anything in game value that's in moviewise more fun and interesting if you can think of one. Mines are really just trying to spark up something, not well thought out on the being fun part.)
In the mean time, I have some dialogue I would like to share with you guys, it's from one of my favorite sitcom series, The Office:
CPR Instructor: Would you like to try next?
Dwight: Absoulutely I Would Not.
Michael: Do you know who I really think should go? (a tap on Stanley's lap) "Stanley."
Phillies: It's not a good idea Michael he needs to rest. "No rest for the sick!" said Michael
(few minutes later)
Michael: C'mon Stanely you're losing you you're losing you!
(Stanely continue charging with the CPR rhythm, almost exhausted, feeling death approaching as his boss continue urging him to revive a dummy.)

I'm going to start as male wizard and male demon hunter, somehow their gear looks sharper too, Dunno if that's an illusion.

Dunno if Don is british, his avatar had made me think of him as a british person since a long time ago.
I actually googled "apocalypo 80s british comedy" and so far the finds are comedy series, so we're definitely open for helper and big movie wild chase games.

If there's any actors in the movie you can remember its name, both character's name and a actual person's will help. "Tom why are you getting so many soaps on my shoes?" Than it will be in no time when you track down this good one you're looking for, clinck!.

C'mon people, my first reaction to Scyber's movie is if it has zombies in it, I'm not much of a help in a 80s british apocalyptic comedy film.
(28 days later is as far as I can remember for now, I'll get back to you when I'm starting really hard swimmy-remembering on british films.)

If you guys are capapable of playing guessing games about movies, it's also perfectly fine to start one here.
Here's my problem I've been meaning to share:
I was always under the impression that I'd watched the 1939' Wizard Of Oz film when I was a kid, until recently in a conversation with my dad about classic movies, my dad named The Wizard Of Oz, and I said I remember there's this scarecrow person (whose weakness is the lacking of couragesness? Not sure.) allowed the rest of his puppet friends along with Dorothy build him into somesort of flying unit to carry them and escape from the evil queen's castle. My dad saying I must have watched a different movie.
I was a little surprised by his response so I named another scene: The queen's castle has a hallway filled with displays of her head behind glass shelves as if they were jewlery. I remember one of these heads breaks into conscienceness and scream at Dorothy (or yelled at her, or maybe yelled at one of their fellow traveler), I was pretty freaked out by the scene when I was a kid, anyway, my dad is still saying no, I am miss remembering, so my last draw of effort is saying I remember there's suppose to be these line of soldiers of the evil queen's, they were wearing roller skates...yet he's still saying I'm miss remembering...
I don't know how boring this story is to you guys (I imagine very, haha!), I would definitely watch the movie myself sometime soon, but I just really would like know from you guys that what exactly am I remembering here! There's scarecrow, there's an evil queen, there's a girl as the main character, there's a tin man (and at one scene he's running out of fuel?) what is going on with this mental picture here? What am I remembering exactly? Would like some helpers to help search this puzzle in my inner soul. (LOL)
Anyway, can tell recently I'm having great feelings with The Wizard Of Oz related stories, my signature is the poster of Wicked, a suppose to be classic theater production, it's going to be produce into a film, and I find the show is based on a parrel fiction that is based on the 1939' Wizard Of Oz film, so I'm really excited about those upcoming production. Love sharing!
And play movie games with this thread, why not!!

It is a dawn on me to wrote what I just wrote and now feeling the true end of those possibility of robbing/taking of anykind/illegal town slaughtering possibilities.

It shouldn't be getting such judgmental response at its now ended possible comeback and people with a more reasonable attention toward those I will call unexplored area would have a different say on the matter.
I agree there's room to make these functions reasonable, obviously crowding arround dead bodies fighting over gear is not ideal at all in a more ideal, interesting Diablo, and that also goes with killing lower level people just because you can. But I do consider those freed up gaps in D2 as a very raw model interface which can be more detailed, and rule bounded with limitation/circumstantial to a degree that it can be really interesting, as it sometimes is in D2.

I like to go with twisted and freaky, it can be as polished as Michael Jackson I don't care, as long it's going somewhere with a strong theme.

While making assurance for us that we're still being serious with ourself. And com'on, we know it is more than just splattering blood, for crowding arround corpses, grabing gears on the chase, hunting down gamers could have been dealt with, or expanded into a more assuring depth in D3, instead of being deleted entirely as a flawed design.
