Am I the only one who hates this new slender form of Diablo? I think it's way too feminine for the 'Lord of Terror'. I know demons don't technically have a gender, but we all refer to Diablo as male (he/him/his), so I don't understand this direction. Hell, we think of most of the demons as male. You could never say that Azmodan, for example, was a 'she'...
I really hope this is just a marketing thing, and that he won't look like this in game.

I HATE it. i really despise they way they have interpreted Diablo. Thats crap. I understand(and suspect like most) the rich and valid speculation that leah is corupted in D3 and becomes diablo but i do not see how that should impact on the demons form to the extent "IT" has what my GF termed as "child bearing hips" and looks about as scary as a blood elf. IMO it dosent matter who diablo corrupts male or female i think there shouldnt be such a complete change from a tough huge bulging bicep demon evil prime monster with big Foff horns sticking out of his back that look like some kind of dinosaur into a female cartoon character.
That just does not look like diablo, plain and simple. looks shit.

Not to light the pvp fire but i just wonder how that will affect pvp. Like i understand how that works for the game when you are playing the game against the computer which is being decided essentially on your computer(and being checked at blizz). How do you decide it on both the computers at once without their being lag.
I always found pvp to be where i notice any latency issues. i see it as an improvement. WTB aussie servers still.
I don't think you have to worry. sure it will be thinner than release but that's expected. the aim of the game it to progress. its like saying there will be no one in the starting zones for wow, well there isn't because there exploring the newer content.
There will always be re-rollers and new players. hell i have to level 5 characters to level 60 and beat infernal, not to mention help my mates do the same. ill be doing normal a few times im sure.
id like a lighter blue and a more orange red just maybe to distinguish them from health and mana a little more. still i like the current colours so meh
Well if they keep kicking everyone's ass u will soon know. I think a barb will be pretty unstoppable but you never know. As for team comps I really feel that any comp will be viable provided there is a mix or range and melee. It will be about how you play together and who you target will determine everything.

i dont like the idea but i dont think it will matter much. considerin you dont need to respec or change builds or what have you i doubt it will be used 2 much.
Completely agree with where they are comming from and are saying. Sasdly i think it just leaves ladders for pvp though9was kinda cool how d2 was a pve ladder instead of PVP). I would prefer pvp ladders though now that i mention it. Level cap sounded dumb at first like 5 years ago when I started wow, but makes so much sense now.
Id still call a Q4 release, reality is tho they are right and things can go wrong. It is not in there interest to tell share holders of a q4 release and then have it pushed back. Im sure beta will be a really good indicator for their board. I think by Q3 we will know yay or nay.
I'm also sure blizzard don't want to give anything away, and are dirty dogs like that. I reckon they will confirm a date at blizzcon for early December. Should have all my study done by then ready 2 glue myself to this machine.
