It's by Bethesda, even if it is at least as good as Diablo 3; The amount of bugs will bring it down, because Bethesda games ALWAYS have tons of bugs.
I'm not talking out my ass on this one either, i play their games, i like their games, but they lose a lot of points in my book just for how buggy ALL of their games are (to this day...as in, they still havent fixed most of the bugs).

It's safe to say if Blizzard wants to release D3 for Christmas sales it's going to be late November early December so everyone can buy it. Why would they release it few days before Christmas, that makes no sense. If we're in the 3rd week of December you know it's not coming out till 2012 Q1. Which is what I think will be happening.
Their doing this for one of two reasons. Either they don't want to release it along side SWTOR, which is most likely the case. OR! They have inside info that the world is REALLY going to end in 2012!!!!!

WoW is currently running 4.2, that got release what a month ago? and content patch don't run for more than 4 months because people get bored. So the community is expecting 4.3 around December.
So it means that WoW next expansion cannot be in one year, because that leaves an enormous gap to fill.

I am a firm believer that D3 will be released in 2011 and here is why i think December 20th, 2011 is a very possible release date.
I know that there will be no beta in the month of August, however it will be in September...
The purpose of the beta is to stress test the servers with multiple games being played simultaneously, that means short beta(they have been internally bug testing for awhile now) sure the beta will bring up some unforeseen problems but I still dont think it will affect release.

put them into any damn "genre" you want, progressive, metal, metalcore, progressive core post metal pre punk lol....this is the best and most musically talented band ever
i don't understand why people like metal as trivium etc, either listen to cheerful music - dance/dnb/electro etc.. as fast pace but yeah.. or if you want to be "hardcore" then listen to hardcore or metalcore.. like more than life/suicide silence/martyr defiled/bwp/dead swans etc..
TL;DR if you like "harder stuff" don't listen to pussycore.
