posted a message on On the subject of Call of Duty...
I always loved the Call of Duty series, and with the next installment coming out, Black Ops, I remembered what series made me love FPSers.

NOTE: I'm not covering the stand alone expansions, as they were quite similar to the original counter-part anyways.

Intro: Now although the first video-games I played were freeware versions of games like Diablo, Quake, and Hexan, the first game that got me into the console gaming was one series named Call of Duty. This series I've loved from the first, to the most recent game, beating every single one (hold CoD 1, I lost my disc before beating it). And with the great series from Activision, created by TreyArch, and Infinity Ward I would like to comemorate these great games.

Call of Duty 1: The beginning to a great series... Although I don't remember much these game started the series in WWII, fighintg against the Germans for the most part. This game was a great start, but had quite a few faults at start.

Call of Duty 2: This is the game that truly got me into this series, although the clunky online, the repitive battles, and numerous bugs, the unique maps, and historical value was great even if it was a complete work of fiction. These game had the widest aray of maps out of the first 3 (IMO), from places all through out WWII, my favorite, was of course, Normandy Beach

Call of Duty 3: Although probably my least favorite in the series, but still I liked it. The online was downright unplayable, the battles got quite annoying, and had no major difference from the second game. I don't mean to bash this game so bad, but this made me feel that CoD was not gonna make it far into next-gen consoles. But of course I was wrong.

Call of Duty 4; Modern Warfare: The great revolution Infinity Ward made with this game, taking a strictly WWII game, and putting it 60 years in the future. I was awstruck by this game, the online was amazing, the single player campaign was phenomenal! This great game brought us what the next-gen gamers needed for this series, hope.

Call of Duty (5) World at War: TreyArch getting their hands back on to the game went back to the WWII era, but now the fights were more toward Japanese, and less German. This game also brought the great Modern Warfare style online play to WWII, and many found this game great. But the best change from these game was Nazi Zombies (IMO).

Call of duty (6) Modern Warfare 2: This was Infinity Ward's next installment, and although bringing initial awe, the game came to disappoint many. This game was the most unpolished of all (IMO), at least the online play... This game had many people complain, but still was a great game, I feel this was one amazing game, but due to the excessive lawsuits with Activision, Infinity Ward couldn't polish it after release.

Call of Duty (7) Black Ops: The upcoming game in the series, they promise fixes to old isssues, brining back old things people loved, and changing what needs to be changed. It's still of course unaware of how well they have done this, but the fans are hoping for the best.

Sorry if this post seems to be a waste of space, but I just wanted to talk about my second favorite game series yet.

Hi, all! Here is a new video from Blizzcon from yours truly!

    Ninja'd Blizzcon 2010 Gameplay Video
How was it? I'm guessing you played it, if so was it fun? What was that "Blizzcon Artifact" and what relevance did it have?

And, WAS IT FUN? DID IT FEEL DIABLO-ISH, or dreadfully Torchlight-ish?

The noobs and the D2, hardcore been-waiting-since-2001 fans should both get beta keys. You would want the beta to have a sample of what you would expect the release to have. You want those noobs to find the glitches and problems the hardcore fans wouldn't, and vice verse.

I still own the hard-drive I first installed Diablo I onto, and that was about 8 years-ago, do I count?

Okay, this is considering the final class is a ranger/hunter type, but don't you think sort of chain weapons like that would fit for a hunter class?

    Just my thoughts on that.

Diablo is not a MMO ffs. It has nothing to do with one. There's WoW for you to play if you want to look at MMOs, there's SW:TOR coming up, DIII has nothing to do with any of them

THANK YOU!!! For God's sake, Diablo III, will not be, nor is Diablo I, or II an MMO! And it isn't even a straight up RPG either, it just has RPG implements...

I'm not sure if this topic has been discussed yet...

I just realized that if Leoric is in the game and we are going to be fighting him, I assume we are going to be going into the EXACT same dungeon as we did in the original Diablo. I assume that since the King has been resurrected, so could the greatest monster in the history of Diablo (IMO), the Butcher.

What are the odds that they bring him back and try to use him as a big scare like the original did? :D
I want a uber Butcher secret, IMO that's the best way to throw him in the game.

I doubt I could ever make another person understand why I hate seeing people stare at those red box things while they decide what fucking movie to watch for the night.
Beats renting a movie from those cheap ass movie rental spots...

Redboxes at least have decent prices.

I never pirate movies, unless I can't find them.

Well, recently I heard that the Zerg expansion for SC2, will be coming in early 2012...

And according to Blizz' Diablo 3 will be coming out around the SC2 expansion releases =/.
So if this is true Diablo 3 will be coming in 2012, if then! If they already pinpointed a date for that expansion, maybe D3 will get a release date like this in a year or two!

    How awful!

Sorry about not having links to show, but I'm too lazy right now, but wanted to share this.

Honestly, for people who whine about the art-style, just get over it, the art style at this point WILL NOT CHANGE.

They are too far into the game.

But one thing I fear is the attacking style. Just look at it! It's just like Torchlights lame "action" just you cleaving your weapon, and the enemy dissapearing in a blood spirt... Kinda lame, but I hope this won't be a problem.

There's so many things I fear might happen to D3, and these fears are supported, due to the fact that the makers of D1, and D2, aren't the makers of D3.

That's what they do with movies in theaters. Except those movies aren't free. You now sit through about 15 minutes of commercials before the 15 minutes of previews come on.
    Ehh, kinda, sorta...

Kinda sorta? Unless you're showing up for the movie intentionally late (which is what I do), then yes, you have to sit through a shitload of commercials and previews. When was the last time you went to a movie theater? And really, its an affront to people who pay a lot of money to go see a movie which is why I've no moral qualms of my own when pirating a movie.

    This.

Irrational, stop being so rational, for God sake.

posted a message on The U.S. Constitution, unconstitutional?
Well, I've been going in-depth into the U.S. Constitution, and was wondering if anyone had some insight on the subject.

I ask this question because, although I'm just a Middle School student, I see that the U.S. Constitution writers' wrote the Constitution in a way that could be changed, or revised enough to fix future issues, but it seems this hasn't been properly put to use.

One reason why I THINK this is hasn't been put to use is the redundant laws, bills, etc. that are still in use today. They wrote the Constitution over two hundred years ago, and we still use it (the current Constitution, NOT the Articles of Confederacy), with nothing, but miniscule changes.

I believe we need to go through I figure out what was made for THEN, and what we need NOW. Some laws, implied rights, bills, and even parts of the governmental branch seem useless, maybe even counterproductive to todays standards.

Remember, this could be absolute BS what I am saying, due to this is just what I'm seeing the U.S. Constitution as a Middle School student/child.

If you would like to open my eyes to anything, please do.
