I waited in line at Blizzcon 6 times, which is actually harder than it sounds. The Monk was the most fun to play at Blizzcon. He would have been #1 for me.
He was by far the most fun to play, this is because he had a new skill mechanic that was fun and seemed like it has always belonged in the Diablo world (fast paced, bloody, memorable, and loads of fun). For anyone who doesn't know this system, think Rogue WoW (combo points and finishers), but unlike the Rogue it felt like the Diablo Assassin (fast paced 3 charges ect.)
Even though the then new Barbarian system of Fury, it still felt like a Barbarian of D2 to me (which is awesome). So he is #2 for me.
Wizard and Witch Doctor were pretty much just casters to me, Wizard > Witch Doctor for me though. Unique Aesthetics doesn't beat out the tradition or simplicity of an elemental caster. The Witch Doctor just seemed like a Wizard with obscure spell names/effects, that pretty much did something any caster (Wizard) would do.
The Witch Doctor is the only class I am worried about. It didn't seem like he filled a Niche as well as the others, and rather he was a rehash. Every class in D2 had something memorable or wildly unique about it, the Witch Doctor didn't seem to have anything unique game play or mechanic wise.

Or chickens from act 1. I remember spending an hour with a friend trying to herd all the chicken to one corner of act 1. I don't remember if we succeeded or not.
Really it would be very blizzard like to take the rabbits or chickens and create a new secret level out of them. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.
