I got a very good ancient chantodos. Rolled with 989 int, good damage range, +7% damage and +7% attack speed. After gifting in a socket, I'm wondering what my best option for enchant is. I'm playing Vyr's and while CDR is usually what people are suggesting, I don't really need any more CDR as I'm sitting at 50.5%. I also currently have 30k LOH from my other pieces but I was thinking of putting LOH on the weap and changing LOH to CHC on my helm which I think would be more optimal.
If I decide to do that, what would be my best stat to reroll? Int or attack speed?
There are plenty good places to look. It took me about 4days to farm up all the pets. There are a couple of videos out of where to farm so all the credit to those guys who did it. I used "Drahque"s guide specifically.
Weeping Hollow around the spawning point.
Southern highlands / Cave of the moon clan lvl 1+2
Northern highlands / Leoric's grounds.
Royal crypts (I found most of my menagerist goblins in here FYI)

Tower of the cursed
Run those then reset, seems to be best way of getting what you want. I found about 8 Rainbow goblins during the runs as well, but unfortunately no cosmic wings.
P.S: In my runs I seem to get no menagerist gobs in the tower maps, so I ended up just doing the Act I rotation.
That's the route I used other the TotC. Farmed for around 6 hours before I found my first one. In terms of consistent goblin spawns, I'd rate it as:
1) Southern Highlands - Cave of moon clan
2) Northern HIghlands
3) Royal Crypts
I never had a single goblin spawn in weeping hollow or tower of the damned. Don't know if that's just my bad luck or if they changed the spawn points.
Well, if you want a specific item then rerolling in the cube is the best (but yes, expensive) way. But the chances for an ancient are decent.
Since the reforging costs in the cube are the same, you should try to reforge your weapon there and hope for Kadala to show mercy on your armor parts.
Running T7 rifts for bounties is obsolete, since TX will reward you with 5 act mats each.
Even if you don't like group play the fastest way to farm them is to join a public bounty game. And you can hardly call it group play, since everyone does the bounties solo - it actually is quite fast unless you have some slacker (that usually gets kicked very quickly) and besides the act materials it also is a pretty efficient way to farm souls.
Just curious, what is the expectation time wise to complete your part of a bounty if you are in a typical group?
I generally use kadala for armor upgrades since they're cheapest. They will eventually drop either from her or just straight dungeon drops. Ancient wep is high priority. For that, you can try and upgrade rare wands or law of kulle (more effective but far more expensive).
Basically, kill kill kill, loot loot loot, keep cursing at kadala until she finally gives you something useful and wonder where the last 3 months of your life went. Welcome to Diablo 3.
Can't find anything relating to this in patch notes but I was playing on my archon wiz last night and blizzard did not appear to be proccing Obsidian ring the way it used to. Was this an intended change that I just missed? It's pretty much a useless skill for this build now.
Weeks and weeks of trying to get ancient vyr chest and pants. Massive amount of mats used in cube unsuccessfully. Last night, got chest from a breakable and then later kadala gave me pants.
That's what I used. It worked quite well until I gather enough pieces to move to a firebirds build which then moved to a Vyr's build which I'm currently playing and love.
I've got about a month or so experience playing this build. My question is related to the fact that most builds I see utilize arcane torrent rather than blizzard as the out of archon skill. I recently made the switch from arcane torrent to Blizzard/Snowbound and I've found that I can reset my archon much faster and I can spam it without fear of running out of AP.
I realize that arcane torrent does more damage but that's kind of irrelevent for this build anyway. What am I missing? Why is arcane torrent considered the best choice for this build?

Just got a compass rose that rolled with 20% area damage. DMO AO wizard.
Question is should I reroll for crit chance.
Numbers without ring equipped:
124% area damage
53.5% crit chance.
I'm leaning towards keeping the area damage personally.
