I just find it shocking they didn't manage to please all 12 million customers.
Also: That's a lot.

Why?
Even with insanely high defenses, only certain builds with the best equips can handle mp7 and up. Blizz's philosophy for the game has been to promote build diversity without forcing players to play a certain way to overcome challenging content.
All this change does is reduce the need to play a specific way. I for one see no problem with this move. Plus, this isn't a change because of players bitching and moaning about how hard higher mp levels are, it was because of a bug! That, you could say is Blizz's fault.
Don't get me wrong, a lot of the players who have spent millions on items to beat higher mp levels will be upset that they won't need that gear as much now, but that group of people is a small minority. Even so, that specific minority of people will still have the pvp patch to look forward to : ) -

No fix to the retardedly fast Elite Tremors? With their insane speed (after first shielding), you can NOT run away. It's pretty much GG for glass cannons.
Your tears, they sustain me. -

Doez posted a message on Paragon 100 too easy? This is the kind of post I expect to see on the World of Warcraft forums. 1 guild clears all hardmodes, people cry the game is too easy. 1 person gets PL 100, someone cries that it's too easy. I'm still PL 10 or 11, but I'm not playing 14+ hours a day either clearing thousands and thousands of elites. I wish these forums could downvote posts to bury garbage like this.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion -

everyone is entitled to their opinion.
i think those deserve praise, who perform better than others, not those who spend more time on something than others.
i personally have never heard news of a hero who for example watched TV for 3 weeks straight, reaching "watching TV level 100" doing so.
He performed most excellent. He was extremely efficient in what he did and didn't just "spend a lot of time" with it. He was well skilled and you should admit that.

LOL i thought this was the solution from Blizzard to make the End game last longer!
i even heared will be playing for months to get to paragon 100!!!!!
oh boy...... so we are back to 0 now again right? we have 300% MF but no point killing and wondering arround besides hoping for some good items.....and after a while you will find the best items whats the point of playing if you are not earning anything not even fun???
what sell the item to RM action house.... yeah right, let me tell you this even if you put 1$ item most of the time they dont sell, the Gold AH work the RL, sucks.....
so what the point after end game now????
This is a bad WoW mentality people need to stay away from.
"We" didn't reach Paragon 100. "One guy" reached Paragon 100. That still means "players will be trying to reach it for months" and that includes you, me and 98% of all other players.
It's WoW mentality because if one guild downs a boss in the first week of its release "content is easy". No it's not. They're professional players that wiped 500+ times on that boss and bled blue until they finally did it. They are extreme players and are renowned throughout the community for their actions. They are not the "average" player that's going to struggle with that boss for weeks on end wondering "why the hell can't we do it when those guys did it. Still the content is stupidly easy though, we're just slacking". -

Mormolyce posted a message on Jay Wilson vs David BrevikI'm sort of torn between concern that this Jay guy (who is apparently some lead developer? I don't know why you people cyberstalk the devs, I just play freaking games I don't care who made them) made a post like this in a place where obviously everyone will see it and the forums will go nuclear with raging scumbags and everyone will get personal and laughing because it's kinda funny. Assuming this is real.Posted in: Diablo III General Discussion
It's pretty unprofessional but on the other hand this Brevik guy was pretty much saying haha you fired us and now you suck to the people he used to work with so kind of understandable. Also some pretty unfair digs, like blues being more powerful than yellows (which was no more true of D3 than it was in D2, he obviously didn't actually play D3 and is parroting this crap which was on the forums on release night), the fact your DPS works off your main weapon (I assume he means for casters, which is a departure but personally I think it's more fun than when they were just stat sticks like in D2). And something about things would be better if everything was BOE? What the hell is he even talking about there, nothing has ever bound on any Diablo game, and that was hardly a change the community would've welcomed back in D2, I remember those discussions on the forums. The guy clearly is getting his info on D3 from forum whine.
I feel kinda sorry for him, has to suck making a really successful game and then getting fired (or quitting? I don't freaking know it's none of my damn business) and then trying to make your own studio with visions of complete creative control and it not really working out (sadly never does). Maybe if he'd made D3 it would've been awesome, maybe better than the one we have maybe worse, nobody will ever know. Honestly though people are greatly exaggerating the original Diablo creative teams, I don't think any of them have been amazing perfect games, that goes for D1-D3. They're good games, I played D2 for years and D1 has a special place in my heart but they weren't the work of genius or anything. And making D3 a reskinned D2 would've been a terrible mistake. D3 has to move on from D2 just like D2 did from D1.
On the other hand funny though it was Jay Wilson's post was pretty foolish
Quote from st0rmieGood stuff. Few thousand more permabans and the official forums might potentially become a place where people who play Diablo III can gather to discuss Diablo III. Radical idea, I know.
Wordpress and blogger.com are over that way if people want to post spittle-flecked rants. That's why they were invented.
So much this. Bring on forum eugenics! -

what a shame.
one minute people are bitching about blizzard limiting our fun and taking things away just because botters abuse it.
the next minute they're mad for blizzard making something fun that botters may abuse.
lol, i love this community. so cute and brain dead -

The armory has nothing to do with the game issues or patches, its a 100% different team that has no impact on how long a patch takes... its free "content" if you will. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Hello there!
Some of you might remember me from a couple of years ago when I was very active prior to the release of D3 on this forum. With the announcement of D4 and the approaching release of D2R, I've decided to dip my toes into streaming and eventually into more complex Diablo content creation. Right now, I'm taking it slowly, trying to lay down some ground work how to do stuff and work around my full-time job schedule. I hope I catch some of the familiar faces here joining the stream for a chat, it can get very lonely for a new twitch streamer at times

I remember back in the day, this place was brimming with life.. I guess reddit and discord are the places to discuss stuff now.
Also, all my posts/replies are gone I had around 2K

First of all, I didn't think I would ever be doing threads like these anymore, but I just couldn't help myself. The announcement revived all habits in me.
I will if I could to a small sum up of the interviews.
