    I must be blind, or I watch outdated D3 game play videos / screenshots, or people are crazy
    I see a lot of complaints about D3 graphics looking candy coated, but im not seeing it,
    yeah I hate W O W candy a$$ graphics too, and if Diablo 3 graphics looked similar to W O W graphics, id be raising hell,
    but they dont look a thing like it, nor do they look candy coated, I dont know what people are tripping out about, the closest game ive playd that the graphics resemble is a game called Neverwinter Nights, and even then it doesnt look the same.

    Sure it has flashy spell effects, wtf would you expect a spell to look like?, but the graphics themselves look semi dark, not too colorful, so I dont know what people are complaining about...
    its more realistic looking than D2, so whats the big deal?

    I just ask that the attack animations look better than in the videos ive seen :P

    Wow guys, didnt mean to start such a ruckus, I googled Diablo 3 town portals to find out about this before I posted, and all I find was an old forum with no conclusions, so sorry for not knowing about the porting to players thing,
    Wow you guys, doesnt it say we are supposed to talk to each other with respect and all that when we join this forum? :P or was that a different forum?

    and im just assuming there are way points, but im not touching that ^.^

    If this solution has already been brought up, then I apologize.

    Sorry I just found out about this, and there is an OLD OLD threat talking about it so I decided to update.

    There is talk of no town portals because there shouldn't be a cheap way to escape combat ,and go freshen up or whatever, granted, thats fine, but thats not an excuse to completely remove porting from the game.

    If they do remove it from the game they should at least have it so you can port to players, with consent, kind of like a town portal, only a one way ticket.

    another solution would be to keep town portals, and either 1: make it have a slow cast time or do this little bit.

    *player attempts to cast town portal to escape combat ,and go heal*

    Computer: " You can not cast town portal when there are enemies near by"

    Both solutions make it so you cant be cheap, and go back to town to heal every time things start to get a little rough,
    without completely ruining multi player.

    Didnt fix skill balancing, ie Magic arrow, and dozens of other skills.
    They tried with a few skills, but meh, it just didnt quite get there.

    like I said before, il go buy D2 and expac all over again ( being I dont currently own a copy)
    if they fix things up properly.

    Since everyone has their own loot anyway, why not save a mouse?
    for every 2 times I click to kill something I have to click 6 times to loot stuff,
    so how about an auto loot? you can have options to just pick up gold, and magic items.
    can I get an amen? you'l thank me later when you dont have to pay 20 bucks for a new mouse.

    Will it at least be as hard as diablo 2? I dont want them foam padding the game just so more noobs can enjoy it, in fact, it should be a little harder than diablo 2 in some cases, I dont want to play levels 1-30 and go,hey, I didnt die did I? guess il go do hardcore.
    No, I want my first death at least by level 6, none of this dont kill the player @#$$@@, make the monsters some mean rip your head off baddies, part of the fun is that it is challenging, but not too frustrating, make me feel intimidated by big giants, and fast moving critters with claws, not just, oh here comes more fodder,

    this may seem like a strange request being you wont be able to chug health potions like before, but at the same time this is part of what is driving my concern, if you cant heal as fast you probably have to tone it down a bit, so balance here to still keep it challenging might be a bit tricky.

    Still trying to figure out how this works, is it basically the more you use a skill, the higher it gets, regardless?
    or is it still limited to 1 skill level per level, sure there will be a cap, but can I have maxed out skills every level?


    also how exactly does stats work, sure the more I attack the stronger I get, but wouldnt every barbarian be the same then?
    what about life, the more I die the more life i get? :P

    like "uh! im going to flick my wrist and kill you".

    No, thats not what an attack should look like, it should look like they are putting their weight into it, turning their torso, and shifting their weight a bit, not just , flick your forarm as if shooing a fly away.

    think they might change a few things? or are we looking at the end product animations?

    Monks train in all kinds of weapons, spears, swords, bo staffs, chains with balls on the end? and an array of other weapons,
    im talking about, walking, talking, fighting monks, this very minute somewhere in the world, factual monks.

    It would be pretty sad, if this monk in a fantasy hack, and slash game came out, and only used a few different weapons.
    I dont want to have to sell every spear, and sword I find just because Monk only knows one weapon type.
    Dont disappoint me Blizzard....
