Setup IPX Protocol, or I would use daemon tools to mount the iso, make the iso use image burn. google it! last but not least check your internet connection, and open ports 6112, 4000 both tcp good luck!
So, anybody know how to fix it so that I can run Diablo 1 without having to turn off "explorer.exe"?
As it is now, none of the compatibility options work for it, some make it not run at all(doesn't think the cd is in). Only option to get rid of graphical issues now is to turn off explorer.exe, which isn't really bad, but more of a moderate annoyance.:mad:
To be able to run diablo one, on windows 7 one must set desktop background, to solid black only, and for diablo exe right click, and set run as admin, and run in xp sp3, and check the last three boxs also right click on desktop and choose screen res and minimize it than run diablo!
