posted a message on patch 2.4.1 idea for DH could be really nice

The 2.4.1 Taeguk only works with channeling skills like Rapid Fire and Strafe so I could see a Rapid Fire/FOK LON build. Maybe.

posted a message on Ancient Yang's - What's the Easiest Way to Get it?

Upgrade rares. Once you get a non-ancient one then reforge it if you have the souls. If not keep farming dbs and upgrading rares.
Gamble for a few 2 handed weps just to tell the loot system that's what you need, but don't expect to get one from Kadala.

posted a message on diablo 3 without RoS?

Coming to Diablofans to ask if it's worth a few bucks to play ROS.

Okay well let's just say +1 to spending a few bucks for the upgrade...
$20 to get ROS or $40 to buy the digital deluxe edition one with more character slots. You can buy the cheaper one (to make sure you like it) and then upgrade to the other one later (you will want the extra character slots) and it won't cost you but the $20 more to upgrade.
    Good hunting. :)

+1 to farming the highest level you can clear quickly. Keep gearing up and T10 will be attainable before you know it. Good luck.

posted a message on UE fire Endless walk + SOJ vs F&R + hellfire

F/R is the way to go for damage. Endless Walk is the way to go for serious damage reduction.
I would guess that Endless Walk will end up being more of an endgame nonseasonal option than for seasonal DH builds.

Anyway, go read section 5.1 of TastySouP's excellent post covering this topic. ;)

posted a message on Starting the Season 5 - Wizard or Demon Hunter?

It will be easier to gear the DH (UE or M6) while you are building an end-game wiz.
You could gear up a DH and then open your set bonus gifts with your wiz. Then you will have a viable firebirds and can work on a DOM wiz or whatever.
With the DH, you will be able to run T10 quickly and do things like farm shards/mats, level gems, etc to support building the wiz and if you are doing anything in the seasons journey you will need more than one class. WDs can also be a pain to gear (wouldn't start with one) but at least you can easily swap int rings, etc. with the wiz.
If you don't want to go with firebirds at all, would recommend opening the bonus set gifts on a sader since the invoker set dungeon is dead easy to master and you will need at least one mastered to get the stash space.
Ask for help if you need it, because a lot of folks are done with the seasons journey and are just looking for something to do.

Just grab a decent DH in your clan. Even a bad rift won't take them 4 minutes.

Back in the days of the RMAH I would get sick of the spam bots and report them. Filled up my block list pretty quick.
    Otherwise, no.

posted a message on New UH build - Please give input

The resource cost reduction (in this case discipline) makes tumble and trail cost about the same so many people use trail instead of tumble to get the 300% fire damage over 3 seconds from the trail of cinders rune.
Trail of cinders is a fire skill so the 30% rcr from cindercoat applies. Instead of costing 8 disc for tumble and 4 for the next one... you are getting 30% rcr on the cost of trail of cinders so 8-2.4=5.6 discipline per vault. If you include any rcr you are getting from yangs, paragon pts, etc. it comes out much lower (less than 3 on my UE DH).
Easy to test for yourself. Hold the mouse over your discipline (on PC) and try both runes out while cindercoat is selected in cube or equipped.
    Good hunting. ;)

-Trail of Cinders on Vault. Reducing the discipline cost in the form of tumble to increase MS damage seems more efficient to me, seeing as this rune does so little damage it might as well not be there, especially in higher grifts. But this might simply be personal preference talking.

The cubed cindercoat makes trail of cinders cost about the same as tumble so a lot of people who run fire use trail of cinders for a little bonus damage.

posted a message on free 6 set?

I wasn't aware you get the sets outside of finishing chapter 4 in the seasons journey. My apologies for any misinformation towards answering the OP's question. (added edit above too for new readers)

So that means you can do the achievements in SC and then just level up a toon in HC and have a full HC set? If so... I understand the complaints about it, but that is an amazing way to jump start playing in HC. You hardcore folks should be handing out the HC kool-aid. :P

posted a message on free 6 set?

The season journey will spell out exactly what you have to do and what rewards you get (Shift-J on the PC).
I know you get all 3 gifts (2 set pieces in each gift) by the time you finish chapter IV (4). It's all pretty basic stuff (even the set dungeon task- a lot of them you can literally just walk in and let the time count down without doing anything and get the achievement... or just slaughter everything and get it).
I did the seasons journey tasks on my DH and then leveled up a Sader and opened the gifts on her to give her the full invoker set.

Edit: Apparently, you can get the bonus set just by doing those tasks mentioned in the OP's post. My apologies for any misinformation towards answering the OP's question. I was speaking only from my direct experience.

posted a message on 5/6 on Destroyer Journey

I got the Avarice conquest by accident the first time I killed a baron gob with gold gear equipped (T10, leveled up boon in a ring of avarice (A2 cache ring), paragon goldfind maxed). If you run gold gear in T10 you will get this one sooner or later.
The Thrill is probably the next easiest one to get. Plenty of ideas/builds about how to do it here on Dfans. Once you can run a decent T10 rift (without set items) you can do this one.
Master of the Universe- the set dungeons are about understanding the set and tweaking the build... and not so much about pushing damage or anything. It's usually about taking something out of the build instead of adding to it. Dfans and youtube if you get stuck.

Quivers are categorized under weapon slot in cube.

Why try to attach MS to Marauder while there's already a strong set maxing out the skill? Current NS rank1 is UE/MS build btw..
