I don't think there is a way to remove botting.
Being a multi-boxer, I'm called a cheater all the time. They point out that it's not fair that I can run 3 accounts at the same time.. bla bla bla... Well, it's not fair to me that some people can play for 18 hours a day. It's not fair to me that people can stream their game play and get paid for it. It's an endless cycle, we could all literally find something to complain about with all of it.
I say, play the way you are happy. If it means you are playing against the rules, don't get bent out of shape when your account goes bye-bye.
If you are one of the folks complaining about botters, then be happy! Blizzard heard you and took care of what accounts they could prove were cheating. Score!

It's understandable, you feel entitled to get more than you are now - so you have to go "Anon" and post about it in a public place. I noticed your post when I came to update my demon hunter build. You know, because it's Friday night and I have nothing better to do.
And no.. I multi-box, and I'm proud of it!

Thought we had one of these already? But this time, let's cry for a Class Action Lawsuit so maybe we can sound serious...
Don't like the game, don't play. Don't like how it's going, no one said you had to play seasonal so stay out of the competition. It's not like there is a cash prize at the end of each season or like you are paying a monthly subscription and feel entitled to get what you want...
I play with friends, we focus on our game play. We don't worry about everyone else. Botters, Streamers - no difference.

Honestly, who throws a shoe?

I wonder about the motivation behind the letter too.
From what the majority of the community (minus the bozos that signed this open letter) , those botting are not treading on the leader boards that they covet.
Originally, Blizzard went after the botters and account sellers because they were making money off of the game. Remember "Pay to play" with the people buying the top gear off the auction house using a credit card?? With the Auction House gone, Trading gone and accounts tied to your DNA these days - Maybe Bilzzard should go after those streaming their game play and sucking money out of their viewers.... Or, maybe the streamers are catching on to that idea and trying to distract everyone with this crusade...
Any way,
Good letter - but wrong people promoting it.
