posted a message on anyone else bored/burned out?

Kimmen85@ I am stuck like you, this is my first season, i already completed my journey but my main has no place in meta it seems(unless you have good friends). The focus on paragon as the only way to improve is something i honestly don't enjoy at all. I am way more fan of gearing up and item finder but this in D3 is so easy that you have no chance to have fun doing it.

The last time i had fun was leveling my hardcore character and helping a guildie to get geared.

Now my last chance is to make a support monk and see how fun it is.

posted a message on Sick of fishing for that perfect grif.

If you are playing DH UE, yes you have to fish insanely. I am not sure what class is playing Op but yea i honestly agree and that's why i don't do grifts anymore.

Fishing is not my thing, totally boring and frustrating because how rng and inbalanced the system is. As my experience to get my 60 rift i had to fish at least 89 keys, and i really thought it was impossible task, but was mostly because i got around 90% of rifts with poor density, no pylons or terrible RG's, one i got the ideal one, i beat it even before countdown started.

Is not a system that encourage you to continue and keep you trying, majority of times you are actually failing because RNG not because you are doing something wrong or there is something to improve at all.

I hope there is something, i must say i am a bit excited because i just got game when this season started. Getting something new this fast is satisfying.

But i think the hype and the expectations were too high, we will see.

posted a message on The Difficulty of zDPS Weapon Crafting (Video)

@Rockitfire, No lol, it's because only your mainhand crossbow min/max dmg is used to calculate your final damage, even if the second hand crossbow adds damage to your sheet dps it is not taken in the final calculation. So you can roll min/max for something more useful, like CDR, elite dmg...etc.

My thought is that the "legendary" word is actually not suitable for those items, they are so common that in some hours of play you are geared and the "legendary feeling is totally gone.

I would love they introduce a real new brand kind of items, a real legendary items with the feeling of actually being legendary and epic pieces of equipment( imo ancient legendary is just a cheap way to continue item progression) after all that's actually the real essence of diablo, the joy of getting a real mythical item.

So if you add another layer of legendaries (knock knock - ancients) with the insane RNG in the game you dont solve anything unless those new legendaries had precisely fixed rolls and once they dropped theyd simply be perfect. If they had such insane rng as the current ones youd still have to drop 10 of them until you got one "good", except now they wouldnt drop once per 5 hours, but once per 50 hours, but youd still drop 10 of them until you found one that was good and youd once again feel like those items are common and not "legendary".

That's what i meant :P a real legendary item, really rare but an outstanding item. The amount of rng that involves lengendary items is way too much and as you say one you get it you will probably have to farm it again because there are high chances it has bad stats, not to mention the fact that if that legendary is not ancient you have to get it ancient and good rolled eventually.

@ frolk, I honestly agree with you, i had a lot of fun gearing and getting legendary items, i found it more satifying than just mindlessly farm paragon, not to mention that it has no limit.

That's the feeling i have, my experience and opinion is that i had a lot of fun starting d3 and getting legendaries, after i got my char geared i felt something was lost and then started to get more bored than usual.

posted a message on Death's breath goblin maybe?

:o Well i usually have a lot of DB in my inventory, I get a lot in Speedfarming t9/10 rifts, but maybe my crafting/cubing/enchanting ratio is lower than usual players- The only thing i have to farm right now are keys and forgotten souls for HFA.
