On the topic of SC Beta, there's something I can't quite remember.
I bought the internet livestream of Blizzcon 2009, does that give me a chance of getting in beta or not? Or was it only if you were actually there and got a physical key.

Don't worry man you're not alone. I sat there for like two minutes looking at it trying to figure out what made it unique from other keyboards. Then I read the keys... lol. -
Feb 11, 2010Seniri posted a message on Starcraft II Beta This Month!Yeah. I have two WotLK WoW accounts, D2/LoD. I own Starcraft/BW, and WC3/Frozen Throne, but I haven't been able to find them since before B.Net was redone so I can't add them =/Posted in: News

Feb 11, 2010Seniri posted a message on Starcraft II Beta This Month!Posted in: NewsQuote from "Jamoose" »I guess... I mean if its randomly chhosen between all the people who have a b.net account with atleast one game... It would be shit if a dude who has 1 game will get an invite and you, who got 5, wont....
He has as much of a right to beta SC2 if he wants to as you do. That "one game" might be WoW, and if it is then he just blew your 5 games outta the water.
Quote from "kairu" »and to seniri, I mean't no harm. but the size of Facebook combined with twitter is something to watch for. I do think they will solely slip updates by on these faster on their websites because of the ease. People Might want to pay lot more attention to them because somehow I was on facebook and saw that the second they posted and I almost shat my pants.
No worries, I was just saying this is here so we can discuss it, and I prefer that to some Facebook group where all my friends can see I'm online and never leave me alone. I rarely log on anymore, I hate talking to people. -

And everybody here has a Facebook and Twitter account, right? And we can discuss this over Facebook and Twitter as a DiabloFans community right? -

Feb 9, 2010Seniri posted a message on Female Monk UpdatePosted in: NewsQuote from "Grimson" »Shit, man. I swear sometimes western developers tend to really try to be the anti-thesis of japanese games many times.
Final Fantasy has their girly looking male characters but may a lightning bolt strike my head if I was the only one who thought that character art (not in game model) looks like a very masculine guy. It wasn't until I read "female monk" that I could see a lame excuse for breasts in the drawing, Seriously, what is with Blizzard's obsession for huge shoulder pads? Someone tell them to stop putting huge shoulder pads on everything. It's gaudy.
Was that you on Kotaku or are you just copying that post? That was me who asked if you're mentally challenged, and the question still holds. I love how breast-obsessed you are - just because they're not the size of watermelons she looks like a dude to you. That's sick. Move to Australia and leave us normal people alone, creep.
Edit: Link is to news article on Australia banning small breasts. -

I'm not sold on her looking anything like a monk especially the blonde hair.. wtf!? meh doesn't matter I have no interest in playing the monk class anyway... just barb and wizard for me, possibly a rogue if that's what the fifth class will be.
..are you sure that's the word you want to use there? -

I still dislike, but the concept pic on the page looks a little better than the first ones we saw. -
Feb 8, 2010Seniri posted a message on Female Monk UpdateLooking pretty good. Even the concept art makes the shoulders look a little better.Posted in: News

And while I partly agree Zhar, the beta is a free program and nobody loses money over a crack for it, but just so everybody stops skirting the rules stop talking about playing the cracked beta.

Nobody said you said the game was going to be shit. I'm only asking that you read up on what you post before posting, remember the game is in development and a lot will change before it's released.

But see, there's a good example of how the game changes. When runes were announced there was no real cooldown on Blink, now there is so I doubt that rune exists anymore, or was changed in some way.

I'm sorry...what? How many people play Diablo 2 still, all the time. Hmm. How many of you spam the same ability.
Wizards and WD look deprived? Are you blind? Wizard skill tree as of most recent Blizzcon. Go look, read it over, come back here and tell me the Wizard doesn't have enough skills for a game that's not finished and will most likely be tweaked tons over the next year, two years. Not only that, the Witch Doctor has the least announced skills so far, you can't honestly make your judgment based on that.
Also why would you want Blizzard to make an extra 40 useless spells nobody will use, taking up even more development time, even more money? Just for the sake of saying "Oh look at me I don't use these 40 useless skills."?
Link above, look at it.
"same thing over again" ...yes, this is Diablo. You play the same five acts over and over again and people have been doing so for what, 8 years now?
And as to the point of the point of leveling when you only have 5 skills, I'd like to ask you something. As, say, a Druid in WoW, how many skills do you use in a fight? Not many, right, you have a certain rotation? Ever notice how your skill tree buffs certain abilities but not others? That's called a spec. Same thing goes with any game that has a skill tree in it. Did you have your head in the sand when the rune system was announced by any chance? Each spell is going to have multiple effects depending on what rune you're using.
Again: What fun is Diablo 2?
I did actually, but Agent here was taking me too literally. What I meant is there are going to be a handful of spells you use regularly and some you don't, depending on how you spec.
Read this, Agent. You might learn something.
Nice post Huck, I can't agree with you more.
Agent, either make sense, do your homework, come back here with facts, or just stop logging in. Please.

Recently I've played through the two most recent Tomb Raider games, Bioshock 2, halfway through Red Faction: Guerrilla, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, tried Dark Void (hated it). Most of the games there are newish so they're over the $20 price tag, but all of them (except DV) are awesome.

Man I tried taking apart one of my laptops a while back to fix a fan and nearly cried with frustration, there are like 5 different sizes of screws to deal with, BEFORE taking the keyboard off. Do your homework real well or ask someone for assistance, those things are animals.

There's like 10, and the rune things make the effects differ. D2 there was a TON of spells and you only ever used one or two, tops. Each class in D3 is going to use like 5 skills regularly.

If you want something cheap and fun, take a look at Trine. Try a demo to make sure your PC can handle it, should be fine. It's a short game but it's really, really fun.
