On the topic of SC Beta, there's something I can't quite remember.
I bought the internet livestream of Blizzcon 2009, does that give me a chance of getting in beta or not? Or was it only if you were actually there and got a physical key.

Don't worry man you're not alone. I sat there for like two minutes looking at it trying to figure out what made it unique from other keyboards. Then I read the keys... lol. -
Feb 11, 2010Seniri posted a message on Starcraft II Beta This Month!Yeah. I have two WotLK WoW accounts, D2/LoD. I own Starcraft/BW, and WC3/Frozen Throne, but I haven't been able to find them since before B.Net was redone so I can't add them =/Posted in: News

I mean if its randomly chhosen between all the people who have a b.net account with atleast one game... It would be shit if a dude who has 1 game will get an invite and you, who got 5, wont....
He has as much of a right to beta SC2 if he wants to as you do. That "one game" might be WoW, and if it is then he just blew your 5 games outta the water.
Quote from "kairu" »and to seniri, I mean't no harm. but the size of Facebook combined with twitter is something to watch for. I do think they will solely slip updates by on these faster on their websites because of the ease. People Might want to pay lot more attention to them because somehow I was on facebook and saw that the second they posted and I almost shat my pants.
No worries, I was just saying this is here so we can discuss it, and I prefer that to some Facebook group where all my friends can see I'm online and never leave me alone. I rarely log on anymore, I hate talking to people. -

And everybody here has a Facebook and Twitter account, right? And we can discuss this over Facebook and Twitter as a DiabloFans community right? -

Yeah I saw that. And the clipping too. -
Feb 9, 2010Seniri posted a message on Female Monk UpdatePosted in: NewsQuote from "Grimson" »Shit, man. I swear sometimes western developers tend to really try to be the anti-thesis of japanese games many times.
Final Fantasy has their girly looking male characters but may a lightning bolt strike my head if I was the only one who thought that character art (not in game model) looks like a very masculine guy. It wasn't until I read "female monk" that I could see a lame excuse for breasts in the drawing, Seriously, what is with Blizzard's obsession for huge shoulder pads? Someone tell them to stop putting huge shoulder pads on everything. It's gaudy.
Was that you on Kotaku or are you just copying that post? That was me who asked if you're mentally challenged, and the question still holds. I love how breast-obsessed you are - just because they're not the size of watermelons she looks like a dude to you. That's sick. Move to Australia and leave us normal people alone, creep.
Edit: Link is to news article on Australia banning small breasts. -

I'm not sold on her looking anything like a monk especially the blonde hair.. wtf!? meh doesn't matter I have no interest in playing the monk class anyway... just barb and wizard for me, possibly a rogue if that's what the fifth class will be.
..are you sure that's the word you want to use there? -

I still dislike, but the concept pic on the page looks a little better than the first ones we saw. -
Feb 8, 2010Seniri posted a message on Female Monk UpdateLooking pretty good. Even the concept art makes the shoulders look a little better.Posted in: News

Also: That is a standard nun-cut (kinda.) Long hair is considered vain. Her hair is slightly longer than nuns back in the day.
Every decision Blizzard makes has those who like it and those who hate it. I'll bet you a hoard of pirate treasure that if they made the female monk bald, the majority would despise it saying it's not a womanly thing.
I'm on the fence - I don't hate the female monk, I don't love the female monk - but the only problem I have personally with her is the shoulderpads.

Sigh. I can shake my head of hair and it lands the same way as hers. I do not go to salons. Since she's a religious person striving for personal enlightenment (is that what Diablo monks do? I thought they made people explode with their fingers) why not just make her bald like the other one? Because nobody would like it and they wouldn't shut up about it until the game is either launched or changed.
Personalities, traits, and attributes. She's a female monk in the world of Diablo. She is bad-ass. She kills demons from the burning pits of hell with her bare fucking hands. That hair seems more militant than frivolous. It's short, not in her eyes, not long enough someone can grab it in a fight.
I think the male Barbs haircut is stupid let's give him a mullet.

I couldn't disagree with you less. I'm impatient for Diablo 3 but I understand that while I sit here bitching and moaning on the internet they are actually doing stuff, they're not sitting around playing D2 with eachother all day and getting payed for it.I'm assuming the 5th class is done or at least nearly done, they're just waiting to release it because whatever act it is going to be displayed in needs work. Act 3 and 4, we haven't seen any of yet. They're probably hard at work doing them as we speak.

They have a lot to release actually. Last I heard Starcraft 2 is being split into three different games (or is it going to be two extra expansions?) Either way each game will focus on only one race. They have plenty of WoW patches to do as well as another what, 4 expansions? I read somewhere there's going to be a total of six or eight WoW expansions. We also have the Diablo 3 expansion(s) they'll no doubt do. Oh and that new MMO they're making that nobody knows anything about.
They honestly could release Cataclysm, SC2, D3 in the same year because with all the expansion and patches we'll have over the next two years after Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 are released we're going to be all Blizzarded out.

Too trendy. Okay why don't we give her a bowl cut and be done with it?
The people who created her are a design team, sure she could have had less stylish hair, but then you'd complain that she looks bland and needs something to make her look cooler.

Incest is a sin. Says so in Leviticus. Many many times. Adam and Eve were the first two humans..right? Their kids had kids. Then those kids had kids. So on and so forth. Everyone you've ever slept with is somehow related to you. According to the Bible we're all going to hell for incest.
Most religious folk I know (not all, mind you) believe in creation and spurn evolution. Back to Adam and Eve - if they were really the first humans that would mean they were Neanderthals, and coexisted with the dinosaurs - unless you're going to tell me fossils were planted by Satan to trick us into sin like my friends mother tells me? "Dinosaurs didn't exist," she says. "Their 'bones' were planted here to lead you from the path by Satan!" What are the chances of two people, tossed out of the Garden of Eden into the wilderness with no food and no clothes, surviving? What hunting skills did God implant into Adam's mind? Did God teach Eve to cook over a fire (which probably hadn't been discovered yet?) Also, they did speak with God, right? What language? The Bible was written in Hebrew first, right? So they spoke a language that hadn't been invented (for lack of a better word) for hundreds (thousands?) of years, then promptly forgot it when leaving the Garden.
Don't get me started on that dude who lived in the fish for three days. And the talking mule.

The blur works for the pic IMO

I'm hoping it won't be split into four, but I do hope it'll be split by language. USEast is FLOODED with French people right now - nothing wrong with that, I just can't understand a word of what they're saying lol.

I know, those sneaky devs, right. I was hoping for once "soon" meant in a few hours, since the pics were already out on TV right, why not just add them to the webpage. It can't honestly be that hard, they're just really lazy.

was posted earlier today (11am or so I think?) and I had the thought that maybe, just maaaybe, the "official site update" might include the fifth class and Blizzcon 2010 would have a release date. It's been half a day and no update on the site yet, but we'll see what hi-res goodies we get shortly. I hope.
