Serini, you said halarious in your post, sorry, I said laughing, I have laughed at a couple of ppl's posts. Mostly just yours and Equinox's.

Once again you prove you cannot read and understand somebody else's argument. I was laughing at your lack of logic and reasoning, because of your inability to form a sound rebuttal, not at your faith or beliefs.

    aliens in a religious discussion.

Are you aware that there are other planets that can support human life? Who's to say nothing lives there? With our current space technology, we can't get to them yet - the human crew would die along the way of old age. However, just because a being is not of this Earth doesn't mean they wouldn't have formed their own religions. There is no proof other life forms exist, right? Just like there is no proof God exists. You can't disprove, or prove, either one.

My last several posts I havent made very many points I know that, I'm just laughing at your guys's views, like you are mine, the laughing is both directions.

I'm sorry but who's laughing at your views? This is a debate. To me some of your views are a little odd, but I've never sat here and laughed at you over them. The fact that you are laughing at me, and others, for the views we have, is insulting.

    @Seniri

Dude, your arguement is the one that is stupid, you talk about aliens in a religion thread, and specifically one that has been on the topic of christianity.

..and what if there are aliens? Are you telling me you don't think a different life form could be a Christian?

I like how you look at one piece of my post, point out that it's about aliens in a religious debate thread, and completely ignore all of my other points. I don't care if you reply to them or not, honestly, I just find your lack of logic and reasoning hilarious, and your inability to form a coherent reply to most of the posts you've replied to a little sad.

I think you're a really judgmental and biased person. I don't think you're a bad person, that's not what I'm saying, but I think you need to think through your responses a little more, hit "preview post" and read it before posting it.

I've sat here for a few minutes trying to write a proper response, but I can't do it. I thought you wanted out of this discussion? Doesn't look like it. I wrote a few things, some of them about trying to judge yourself before judging others, or try to open your mind and see another human beings opinion without your faith fogging your vision. But the best I can do, I apologize, is this picture.

Well, that's not what my point was there. A homosexual can be a christian, but if he/she is homosexual they are commintting sin and have fallen from the grace of God and need to change their way to be in right terms with God.

Dude, I want out of this discussion, you can comment on this post, but I'm seriously done. I stand by everything I have said.

EDIT: wow Seniri, wow. you don't even know me.

EDIT2: I hope ppl can see that Seniri's arguements are stupid.

Oookay. I've tried my best to stay clear of this thread but I just...wow. Twilight, you're 18 and you're already this zealous? What did your parents feed you as a kid, the blood of Christ in your cereal?

    Quote from "TwilightRealm" »
Homosexuals can just as easily be rapists as heterosexuals. So that arguement is retarded.

Not entirely. Rape is not about sex, it is about power and control. Rapists need to hurt, feel power, in order to get off. This is why most rapists are guys, and they rape women - smaller women. A gay man raping another gay man probably isn't unheard of, but the rapist would have to be built and the victim would have to be ridiculously smaller. How often have you heard something about a man raping a man? Excluding jail.

    Quote from "TwilightRealm" »
Homosexaulity is immoral IMO. Christians are only as judgemental as their creator (or are supposed to be), meaning, if God's word says being homosexual is sinful then, according to God, and christians, no one should be homosexual.

Being a Christian is immoral IMO. Of every religion I've seen only two misinterpret the Bible and use its words as law: Christianity and Islam. A true Christian doesn't judge others, doesn't get in fights on the internet. A true Christian is accepting of everything and everybody, regardless of skin color, sexual orientation, religious views. I don't think you dislike homosexuality because it says it's wrong in the Bible - I think you're homophobic and use that as an excuse to hate them.

    Quote from "TwilightRealm" »
I have never thought a homosexual was a pedophile. I can see a homosexual being a pedophile just as easily as a heterosexual being a pedophile, but I have never just assumed that homosexuals are pedophiles.

Did you know most pedophiles are straight, white men? Most of them are upstanding *religion name here.* Sure a homosexual man could be a pedophile, but he's part of a small percentage. What you should be more worried about is leaving your daughter at Sunday School with the pastor.

    Quote from "TwilightRealm" »
Once again, since you cannot disprove the existence of God (which you can't) then for people who believe he exist, and follow his word, aren't any more judgemental than if you believe in the big bang theory and bash christianity.

To me, God exists - but not in the form of any man made religion. God is everywhere, is the planet we live on, the life on the planet. We are god. She didn't write some book for us to kill people over, or tell us having a certain kind of sex is wrong.

Can you prove me wrong, or can you prove yourself right? We're both wrong and we're both right.

    Quote from "TwilightRealm" »
The word of God was inspired by him, so the writers only wrote what He would have wanted in the bible.

The words in the Bible are the words of man. Sure, God may have inspired them, but in my opinion it was a publicity stunt to get more money out the population as well as mind control them for generations. Question: Do you believe in Aliens? What will happen to the worlds religions when Aliens make first contact? Think Earth Religions will survive the jump to light speed, survive whatever our new friends religions are?

I can't tell from here down who said what. But my conclusion is that you're a confused, brainwashed 18 year old who has little to no world experience. Come back when you've lived on your own for a while and can form your own opinions without having to borrow other peoples (or the Bibles.)

My girlfriend wanted me to say to you, "Why don't zealots care when they hurt people?"

    Edit:
    Quote from "TwilightRealm" »
There is a mutual judgemental factor between christians and non-christians. Christians believe homosexuality is wrong, homosexuals believe christianity is wrong (or at least their stance on homosexuality).

Wow. Where do you get your facts from. You do realize not every single homosexual is a non-religious heathen who bashes on Christianity right? There are lots of gay Christians. Imagine how many in your flock are in the closet.

That makes it one of the most ancient religions in history of man, along with Hinduism and Judaism. In contrast Christianity is only a little less than 2000 years old.

My point was "thousands of years" sounds a LOT longer than 2500.

    Quote from "MidnightTempest" »

Female Buddhist nun do not share the same status as male monks, but only in Indochina, which means Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, etc, as well as Tibet.

It was 20002 when the first female monk IN THAILAND was ordained.

Nuns in China and India had been ordained ever since Buddha allowed women to be nuns, which is about 2500 years ago.

I meant to add the Thailand part, but skipped over it when typing. Will edit*

My point about woman being monks/nuns is: Because they weren't allowed the same title as the men, were they trained to fight with the men? I'm pretty sure just about every country didn't allow female warriors.. Not sure. That has nothing to do with our argument since the monk in Diablo is in a different universe and loosely based on the Monk from our world.

True, but the difference is that you said "Nobody".
Like I have already asked: How would you know that nobody would like a bald female monk?

Yeah I could have said "Well on average 68.3% of users taking the "Bald Monk" poll voted "I don't like it" " but I chose to use the word "Nobody" instead, since it's short and easy. Obviously there are people who would like it, but I believe most people would not. All the coments I see in the B.Net forums are all along the lines of:
"The female monk looks like a man her hair is too short"
"Why does she have dyed hair, and it's too short, she doesn't look womanly. And she's not showing enough skin."
"If I couldn't see her tits I'd think it was a man she needs longer hair."
So I apologize for using the word "Nobody."

    Quote from "MidnightTempest" »

Besides, having a bald female monk isn't actually a strange practice: Chinese female buddhist monks (or nuns) have always been shaved bald for thousands of years.

Furthermore, having a shaved head doesn't obscure a woman's feminine features at all if you are already a beauty.

I 100% agree that having a shaved head doesn't obscure a woman's femininity. I will, however, point out to you that most of the internet doesn't agree with people like us. To give you an example, Mass Effect 2. The character named Jack, tattooed up buzz cut sporting girl, very awesome character, cool story, powerful teammate. 90% of the forum readers who decided to comment despise her because she "looks like a man" and "she dresses like a lesbian." They can't see past the short hair and tattoos to the beauty hiding beneath.

Buddhism has been around for like 2500 years, that's only two thousands. Female monks (nuns) as far as I recall do (did?) not share the same status or privileges as the males. I think it was 2002 when the first female "monk" was ordained... 2002. That would be the tail end of times changing I think since I'm fairly sure they weren't allowed the title of monk 2500 years ago.

Oh for sure, I don't doubt that most of the classes will have changes made before release. I'm fairly sure the pics of the monk are just concept art right now anyways, right? We have yet to see her in-game.

Anyways the point i am trying to get at is just pure disappointment that the 3rd WoW expansion pack, which does not need to be rushed for release, will be out before diablo 3 a game that is expanding on another from almost a decade ago.

Yup. But we all know who pays the bills. More subs/returned unsubs = more money per month = more development funds. I'd love to have D3 out this year, I can live with a Christmas release, but it probably won't happen.
